From check-in to check-out this hotel exceeded all expectations. The room was fantastic with plenty of outlets for charging devices (my pet peeve). Every staff member made an effort to say hello and be pleasant and courteous. The buffet breakfast was of a high standard and the location was ideal for many bars and restaurants. A newer high-rise hotel. Clean, attractive with rooms having the standard apartment layout with well-equipped kitchen. Downtown and near restaurants. Family-friendly. Had higher floor so was quite quiet.

Took advantage of a travel promo and enjoyed a one night staycation at this property for a great deal. Took advantage of a travel promo and enjoyed a one night staycation at this property for a great deal. The location is an approximate 10-15 minute walk from the Skytrain so very doable if you don't have a car or don't want to drive downtown. We were given a king size studio on the 9th floor facing west and had a great view of the city, although really just a lot of construction going around. Room was great - modern and clean with lots of space including a perfect sized little kitchen with all the amenities (including microwave popcorn!) to stay in over a longer term, a sitting area with couch and desk area, a large screen tv mounted on the wall and a remote that came with a sanitizing cloth! Bed was comfortable and relatively firm and the bathroom was also good, athough a cosmetic mirror would have been a nice addition. There was a full length mirror, a safe, recycling and organic bins, and plenty of outlets in the room for your electronics. The lobby is comfortable with plenty of couches to sit on, a nice fireplace, and 3 separate computer stations to use, and there's an indoor pool and hot tub, which looked tempting. Hotel is located near so many popular downtown areas and perfect for walking and exploring around the downtown core. Yaletown, Robson, Granville, Davie, False Creek - so easy to get to with lots of shopping, eateries, and entertainment nearby. The other great thing about this hotel is the included breakfast. A wonderful breakfast spread, typical of a Residence Inn, with real plates and cutlery. Hot items including scrambled eggs, scrambled egg whites, bacon, sausage, vegetable hash, tortillas to make wraps along with cheese and salsa, hot oatmeal with all the fixings, a variety of yogurts (including Greek), fresh fruit (pineapple, honeydew, bananas), hard boiled eggs, waffles, cereals/bagels/bread/pastries (croissants and mini chocolate croissants) and a selection of juice/milk/coffee/tea. Plenty of options with lots of seating, even during busy Spring Break. The breakfast service from staff was also great - always making sure the items were stocked and tables clean. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property to others - great value and of consistent Residence Inn quality. Read less

A short walk to go across to Granville island, which is a neat place with lots of shops and restaurants. Read less
