Westin Bayshore Vancouver

Vancouver, Canada

The hotel

This glamourous bay-side residence sits on a curve of Vancouver Harbour facing stunning Stanley Park — giving you incredible views and incredible access to this urban utopia. You can explore the park like locals with The Westin Bayshore’s complimentary bikes (if you’re not tempted off-track by cycling expeditions like their tantalisingly titled ‘Craft Beer Tour’). This being a Westin hotel, they’ve included other sporty freebies like RunWESTIN jogging routes, YogaWESTIN sessions, and a WestinWORKOUT® Fitness Studio. If sport isn’t your game, there’s always spa treatments, a soak in the chic circular pool (perfectly positioned by the harbour’s boardwalk, and your room’s ‘Heavenly’ bed and bath. And, after the sightseeing, the sports, or the simple relaxation, you can take your seat in the H2 Rotisserie and Bar to enjoy seasonal cuisine and views of Coal Harbour and the North Shore Mountains.

The rooms are big and well equipped. Ours was looking over the harbour which was a great view. It has all the amenities you would expect from Westin. What made it for me was the bed. It was hands down the most comfortable bed I have slept in. We had two nights here with no issues and loved the place. There’s a great patio bar that has a really chilled vibe and offer some great cocktails. As you would expect the staff are friendly and very professional, and are on hand to deal with anything you need. If you can afford it, treat yourself to The Westin. It’s a top quality hotel on a near perfect location. Read less

This was a great location and the conference center was attached so it was easy to move between the two without issue. The only issue was the fact that one of the three elevators was out of service and when I tried taking the stairs, got stuck somewhere and had to double back to my floor just to get out. Friendly staff. Food was bland. Rooms… Read more
