The hotel

This glamourous bay-side residence sits on a curve of Vancouver Harbour facing stunning Stanley Park — giving you incredible views and incredible access to this urban utopia. You can explore the park like locals with The Westin Bayshore’s complimentary bikes (if you’re not tempted off-track by cycling expeditions like their tantalisingly titled ‘Craft Beer Tour’). This being a Westin hotel, they’ve included other sporty freebies like RunWESTIN jogging routes, YogaWESTIN sessions, and a WestinWORKOUT® Fitness Studio. If sport isn’t your game, there’s always spa treatments, a soak in the chic circular pool (perfectly positioned by the harbour’s boardwalk, and your room’s ‘Heavenly’ bed and bath. And, after the sightseeing, the sports, or the simple relaxation, you can take your seat in the H2 Rotisserie and Bar to enjoy seasonal cuisine and views of Coal Harbour and the North Shore Mountains.

The hotel is lovely but a bit of a nightmare for people with mobility issues. The accessible parking is in a separate building across a side street - none at all close to the hotel entrance. The hotel is lovely but a bit of a nightmare for people with mobility issues. The accessible parking is in a separate building across a side street - none at all close to the hotel entrance. I was lucky enough to have a daughter who could drop me off and go find parking. But - no benches or chairs outside to sit on and wait for her and no benches or chairs inside the main lobby either, until you get to the elevator lobby around the corner and down the hall. Most of the seating in H Tasting lounge is child-height and a nightmare for people with mobility issues. Surely, it would not take much to add some seating in public areas of the building and outside the lobby for those waiting for a taxi or other transportation. Read less

I just recently spend two nights at the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver and absolutely loved it! The location is just perfect - right in between Vancouver Downtown and Stanley Park! The rooms are spacious and very clean! Be sure to book a room in the tower - the view from up there is breathtaking! Staff was excellent as well! And the beds - so comfy!

Excellent choice on waterfront, near Stanley Park. Valet parking $55 per night. Breakfast in their restaurant was nice. Comfortable room. Great lobby, seating, pool area. Cardosos is down the street. Excellent pizza there.

This hotel is perfectly located. It is close to Stanley Park and within walking distance of many attractions and restaurants. The staff were polite and courteous. They made us feel welcomed and comfortable. We were in a room that overlooked the Bay and the mountains. The room was well-sized with a very comfortable bed, a sofa chair, a desk and an ottoman. It had a big bathroom. Loved the room size. The room had a coffee machine and a Starbucks on location which is convenient. One can also get a bike for 2 hours (at no cost) which is great because Vancouver is very bike-friendly. The breakfast buffet was elaborate and worth $39 if you want to splurge on yourself. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. Read less
