The hotel

This glamourous bay-side residence sits on a curve of Vancouver Harbour facing stunning Stanley Park — giving you incredible views and incredible access to this urban utopia. You can explore the park like locals with The Westin Bayshore’s complimentary bikes (if you’re not tempted off-track by cycling expeditions like their tantalisingly titled ‘Craft Beer Tour’). This being a Westin hotel, they’ve included other sporty freebies like RunWESTIN jogging routes, YogaWESTIN sessions, and a WestinWORKOUT® Fitness Studio. If sport isn’t your game, there’s always spa treatments, a soak in the chic circular pool (perfectly positioned by the harbour’s boardwalk, and your room’s ‘Heavenly’ bed and bath. And, after the sightseeing, the sports, or the simple relaxation, you can take your seat in the H2 Rotisserie and Bar to enjoy seasonal cuisine and views of Coal Harbour and the North Shore Mountains.

Westin Bayshore, Vancouver has the best harbor view and wonderful team members. They are super friendly and helpful. The H2 Kitchen + Bar has very delicious breakfast buffet. It is so close to the Robson Street with plenty of food selections. It is also a walking distance to Stanley Park. We will definitely be back!

Always wanted to stay here because the famed Howard Hughes infamously made this hotel his residence during the most controversial time of his life. I was not disappointed. Blissful. Location is perfect. Staff were all courteous and helpful. Cleanliness is excellent. Rooms were nice although there was noise from outside at night. Great pools - indoor and putdppr. Tasty breakfast although we had a short wait (5 minutes). Would absolutely return, but will bring ear plugs next time :)

This was our first trip to Vancouver, and this location was exactly what we were hoping for with so many areas to explore within easy walking distance. I will definitely choose this hotel again vs some of the other Marriott properties closer to downtown. Read less

Hotel is nice but you will pay through the nose and feel like a member of the cattle herd. Would you like to use a bike at 7am to see the park? Nobody has authority to unlock the free bikes until 8am (the three receptionists not doing anything will explain apologetically). Would you like to have dinner? Hotel is nice but you will pay through the nose and feel like a member of the cattle herd. Would you like to use a bike at 7am to see the park? Nobody has authority to unlock the free bikes until 8am (the three receptionists not doing anything will explain apologetically). Would you like to have dinner? They don’t staff 1/2 of the tables in the restaurant for dinner and it’s an hour wait (the host will explain apologetically). Would you like the view rooms you paid for? They downgraded me and didn’t tell me, in order to “accommodate my family” (the sales team explained apologetically). And I am supposedly a Marriott ‘Elite’! If you like apologies this is your place! But if you want to feel like someone is looking after you and getting things right, try elsewhere. Read less
