This glamourous bay-side residence sits on a curve of Vancouver Harbour facing stunning Stanley Park — giving you incredible views and incredible access to this urban utopia. If sport isn’t your game, there’s always spa treatments, a soak in the chic circular pool (perfectly positioned by the harbour’s boardwalk, and your room’s ‘Heavenly’ bed and bath. And, after the sightseeing, the sports, or the simple relaxation, you can take your seat in the H2 Rotisserie and Bar to enjoy seasonal cuisine and views of Coal Harbour and the North Shore Mountains.

Image of the Tripadvisor rating Decent hotel, great location, terrible internet

Sep 26, 2021 Shannon_Rohan Vancouver, Canada

Standard rooms, services and amenities. Beautiful location and terrible internet. I was staying for business and simply couldn’t work from my room. A hotel at this rating must provide access to high-speed internet from all of its rooms. For this reason I wouldn’t recommend for business travellers.

If you can stay somewhere else, do it, because it is no where near worth the money. I wasn't thrilled from the moment I arrived as it was mayhem out front with cars and cabs everywhere with little to no movement. Finally got somewhere out of the rain and was told the parking was across street, in a parking garage underground with no access to the hotel and I"d have to walk back up and across the street to get back to the hotel. It' Vancouver and rains a lot, not an ideal setup. I get in, check in, service was great, but a whole ton of stuff wasn't mentioned but will get to that after. I get to the room, open the drapes and "patio door" and it's just hootin' and hollerin' from room to room as apparently there's a country music concert in the hotel. Super duper. Last thing I'll note is, you know those super small, motel-style tubs that hold a cup and a quarter of water in them, about 16 inches off the floor? Yeah, that's the tub in the room, with a nice rain shower head installed to distract you from it. So weird and cheap. But, BUT, the worst thing was getting the invoice after I left (here's a tip, don't just drop the keys and leave, get your invoice and go through it before you go!). They have two wifi options but the log-in is super awkward and then they ended up charging me $20 for it anyway PLUS $1 for GST on that as well! They charged me $3.65 for a Destination Marketing Fee; $8.57 for MRDT, whatever that is; $34.50 for overnight self-parking which wasn't mentioned AT ALL (like why do you take a license plate if you're charging me? Why wouldn't I just pay for the parking garage myself at half the cost? Why would you tell me I'm paying for parking ahead of time!? Again what a cheap way to gouge customers); a $2.14 charge for 'Tax-GST Other'; and lastly an $8.29 charge as a Translink Tax. There are plenty of better options that have a nice location in Vancouver and I highly recommend you explore them first. Read less

Still good but clearly in decline. Location is still fantastic but hotel is getting shabby. Rooms or just okay but bathroom was tiny and no plugs bedside. Earth to westin..we have phones, iPads, watches etc… staff was good and attentive when we had to ask for more than two towels, extra pillows. The complimentary bikes are great.

The hotel staff were amazing from the very start when I asked to view the suite prior to booking. Jose Pacora thank you for ensuring we secured the connecting rooms with fabulous views. From the moment we checked in I was impressed with the little "extra" touches we were afforded during our short stay. Complimentary breakfast (wonderful) along with a bottle of Prosecco (with strawberries/chocolates) sent to the room by Shannon and the Service Express team. Helpful engineer who assisted me in setting up a slideshow and a big shout out to Preston Vander Hooven who was extremely helpful to my sister in Australia in arranging for a bottle of Veuve to be delivered to the room - simply the best! We did receive a noise complaint at 7pm when Elvis arrived (aka Ronnie Scott) but that was hilarious considering we are all in our 60's and 70s. Thank you to the Bayshore staff.
