This glamourous bay-side residence sits on a curve of Vancouver Harbour facing stunning Stanley Park — giving you incredible views and incredible access to this urban utopia. If sport isn’t your game, there’s always spa treatments, a soak in the chic circular pool (perfectly positioned by the harbour’s boardwalk, and your room’s ‘Heavenly’ bed and bath. And, after the sightseeing, the sports, or the simple relaxation, you can take your seat in the H2 Rotisserie and Bar to enjoy seasonal cuisine and views of Coal Harbour and the North Shore Mountains.

Excellent visit, wonderful staff, and clean room. The view is always amazing at this hotel. Some of the common areas could stand to be remodeled such as the hallways. Certain areas are just starting to show their age.

Won't say again, won't recommend at all. We were there for 2 nights for vacation. We paid $300+ to get a "wall view" room. My son even was bitten by some insects for 3 big lumps. The line at the check in area was chaotic - there is one line area, but people seem confused to use it for 3 receptions. The room service was quick enough though for… Read more

I usually love to book with Westin and have encouraged my family and friends to do the same. I have been to many international Marriott hotels including The Westin and they have usually been great. I was expecting nothing less when I picked this hotel for my extended families summer vacation (11 ppl). The hotel was very price, but since I had booked 3 suites, breakfast pakage and was promised a harbor view (after multiple phone calls with reservations and the front desk assuring me that the room was a harbor view) and the location was great, I decided to confirm the hotel and was happy with my decision. I had specifically spoken to the front desk and told them that the reason I picked this hotel was for the patio and the view and was assured I made a good choice and the rooms that were reserved for me were harbor view. I explained to them that if i was going to not have a harbor view room I would pick a different room type (that was less expensive) but was told I had the room I wanted. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was checking in and was told that my room type (studio suite) doesn't really have harbor view rooms. (even though the picture online is of the harbor and they told me over the phone multiple times that my rooms were harbor view) I was explained by the manager that the rooms are marketed as harbor view, but don't actually have a harbor view. She said, the ppl weren't lying because that is what they were told to say to sell the rooms. I told her all I wanted was honesty because if I had known i would have reserved a different room that was less expensive ($40/night per room cheaper before taxes and fees). Later in the day, they had found 2 harbor view rooms for us that were not suits but executive tower rooms with a harbor view, these were defiantly more roomy than the suites, less congested and with a beautiful view- which is what I had asked for. One room could not be changed and was much further (in a different building) than the other rooms. They had asked us to leave our room packed and they would relocate and move our luggage to the new rooms but the luggage in one of the rooms could not be found. We were told it was taken to the new room but apparently it was taken to the old room that had not been changed. The refrigerator that we asked to also be taken to the new room was given to someone else. The hallways and rooms are outdated. The pools were ok. The breakfast in the morning was excellent and the staff making the omelet and eggs were very accommodating to our dietary needs. The hallways and the balconies were very dusty. On the day we were supposed to check out, I looked at my bill and was significantly overcharged. I saw this at 4am and could not sleep therefore went and spoke to the front desk just so it could get taken care of prior to checkout time and the morning rush. I was charged for breakfast even though it was park of the package I had booked, I was charged an extra parking (valet AND self park rate) and I was told the first day I would get $200 credit per room but this was not added to all rooms. I was told this would all be fixed by the morning. In the morning, at check out time this was still not adjusted, and didn't seem to know the problem and had to explain it all again. I was told that it could not be taken care of that day but did not leave without it completed. Credit was given for the extra charges as well as parking corrected. After all this, I still paid more than what was Estimated when I booked online through marriott. The taxes and fees were double that estamated ~ $370 online and actually $750/room for 4 days at the hotel. Vancouver was so beautiful but the experience was not what I had needed out of the vacation because of what the hotel put me through and it was definitely not a memorable/relaxing vacation and I believe I should have been better compensated. We are currently on the last day of our stay and I had really high expectations of the hotel based on the reviews on Trip Advisor. However the hotel is not up to the Westin standards and definitely not worth the price. Pros: Big rooms Comfy beds If you are given the right room on a higher floor you would have great views of the whole Harbour. We were put in a corner room on the 7th floor which meant just one small view of the marina but not the deluxe harbor view room we booked. We were too exhausted to change rooms and never raised it with them. Good location on Coal Harbour and right around the corner from Stanley Park Staff are really nice Cons Very Limited and very expensive in room dining menu. Whatever we ordered was overpriced and wasn’t good. The roast chicken (rotisserie) was dry and came with a tiny bowl of gravy. The AC switched to heating at night and we woke up almost every night to a hot room. We had to turn it off and turn it on to get it cooling again multiple times a night. Couldn’t keep the balcony doors open for fresh air as the noise from the street was too loud. The rooms are dated and need a refurb The toilet was in an awkward location in the bathroom and very low to the ground. The pool area is small & crowded with all seating almost always either reserved with a towel or taken. Read less

Nice swimmingpools, both inside as well as outside. Did I say that breakfast is great? Great choice and all fresh, regular coffees or great Italian coffee available as well! While the central areas are great, the hotel rooms could receive some redecoration as well.. Location on the waterfront is great, Stanley park around the corner and they offer complimentary bikes!
