Image of the Tripadvisor rating Gorgeous hotel, nice size rooms but service was terrible, no directory or explanation of transit and amenities

Service was the worst, no directory, fireplace didn’t work, didn’t get any housekeeping, tub plug was broken and no one came to look at it, no A/C in our room, no coffee, muffins or water as complimentary

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights over a weekend. We called before booking to check on how busy the hotel was and was told they did not have many bookings but in actuality the hotel seemed very busy. One of the two hot tubs was not working. The one that was working was not that hot. There was a rule that only 5 guests were permitted in the hot tub at one time but it was not followed by most guests, nor enforced by the staff. The pool and hot tub were extremely busy on Saturday and Sunday and we could hardly use them because they were too crowded and we didn’t feel safe. Our room (2 bedroom bunk bed suite) was partially renovated with new countertops, backsplashes and some furniture, but it could have used a total makeover. It was also extremely dark. The fireplace was nice but it was not working the first night and we had to wait until we were not in the room the next day to have it fixed. The bedroom with the bunk beds was very small and only fit the bed and one nightstand. On the Saturday night there was a lot of noise from people partying outside past midnight and it was difficult to fall asleep. The hotel is not walkable to the Lower Village unless you walk down Blackcomb Mountain, which is fine until you have to walk back up it. It was good to have extra space and a kitchen during Covid but next time we will stay somewhere else. Read less

We needed a two bedroom pet friendly suite where we could cook and hang out when the baby napped. The price was reasonable. The place was quiet and had a nice pool and hot tub. Our 3 day stay was excellent. Staff were nice and very helpful. The rooms cozy and well stocked. My kids' feedback when asked if we should come back was "yes". That's a compliment from teenagers because they are usually hard to please.

It is one of the few places in Whistler, that provides you with a complete kitchen. That is a good sign. The rest of the room is fashioned like a junior suite. A niche for the bed and a small salon for sitting and watching TV and a small balcony off the bed side. The entrance is beautiful to look at and the staff are cheerful and willing to… Read more

A niche for the bed and a small salon for sitting and watching TV and a small balcony off the bed side. The entrance is beautiful to look at and the staff are cheerful and willing to help. They also have a laundry on each floor and that's great for families with kids. Remember, the hotel charges for parking $23 for a night. The rate is mentioned in the web page but, you need to search for it. The receptionist ca;;ed it out to us after we had dropped off the keys and moved away from the reception area. Laundry is a great facility and I would love if they have a soap and softner dispenser somewhere so that guests can do the laundry. Read less
