Just returned from 2 fabulous weeks in Antigua and loved this hotel/apartments and location. We booked a seaview apartment which was just amazing. Massive 4 poster bed, great air conditioning, powerful shower, kitchen with fridge, 2 electric hobs and utensils etc. and just the best harbour view. Daily maid service and towels changed. A very, very steep walk to the room but a quick ride up in a golf buggy was offered if staff were around in the heat of the day. Staff very friendly and helpful. Quiet at this time of year as out of season for the sailing community but some nearby bars and restaurants open most nights. Car park, small local supermarket and bars just across the road. You would probably need a car which we had if you want to get around the island although there is a local small bus service you are quite a way out. Pigeon Point beach is nearby with one restaurant open at the moment. Nelson's Dockyard and Shirley Heights are nearby as is the lovely Gallion Beach. Not a resort as such as no pool or bar, but who needs that when you have so many beaches and historic locations to explore. We will be back! Thanks 4 a great stay. Read less

This hotel is the the jewel in Antigua’s crown! We were welcomed instantly by friendly staff who throughout our stay really went the extra mile to ensure we got the most out our time there. Nikeisha, our housekeeper, gave amazing recommendations for must-see locations including Darkwood beach (which we went to three times!) and was a consummate professional. Devin, the hotel manager, couldn’t have been more personable, taking time to get to know us and talking about the sailing culture and history in the area - both interesting and informative! Kashif also went above and beyond with fantastic recommendations and was always on hand to answer any questions and wish us well as we went on our daily excursions. The short walk to Pigeon Point beach yielded stunning views and a lovely tranquil place to relax and dip in the sea. We also made great use of the happy hour at the bars and restaurants around the marina, making sure to enjoy out the local food and people. Overall we had a lovely two weeks to relax, sunbathe and enjoy the beauty of the island. Would absolutely stay here again! Read less

we wintered our boat in Antigua for many seasons and returned for a wedding. The staff at the Yacht Club could not have been nicer and more accommodating. We did find that the room wasn't exactly as pictured on line. There was only one chair in the room and definitely not the flowers you see online. The mattress lays directly on the board of the bed - no box springs and it was offset about 4 inches making it hard for my short legs to get into the bed. The maid never replenished the coffee for the coffee maker. These few problems are completely obliterated by the view, the breeze, the sun from the covered balcony! and by the complete attention that the staff provides....extra towels, got it! Beach towels, got it! Ride up the drive to your room, got it! In "season" it may have been more attention to room detail. Read less

I stayed in a Sea View Studio on the hillside away from the street with bars and had a great view of the Falmouth Harbour and Marina. The room was gorgeous and clean with a European vibe to it! The Resort did not offer any food which I preferred as I had the chance to try lots of the local cuisine which was fantastic. The hotel is in a perfect spot, surrounded by lots of nice bars, restaurants, beaches and attractions. The best part of my stay apart from all the above was the lovely staff! Meechi, Jason, Kashif, Devin (to name a few) really made my holiday, so friendly and polite! Until next year AYCM! Read less

Plenty of restaurants nearby. Not much shopping nearby (except one great little store on the dock that had interesting antique and new items) but easy walk to English harbor for more shops and to the Nelson's Deckyward if you want to visit history site. Most importantly, an easy walk to Pigeon Beach and a cute restaurant, Catherine's Cafe which has a great view and is at Pigeon Beach. Resort is also a reachable walk to Windward Bay beach: not a great beach to walk into the ocean for swimming due to rocky entrance but secluded, quiet, neat shells to look at and a snorkel trail just off the tip (snorkel trail best reached by tindering in and anchoring, not from the beach itself). I would definitely stay here again : ) Read less
