I am not sure where to start. This place was serenity, it was clean, and beautiful. But more important...the people...they were AMAZING and every reason why everyone should stay at this resort. To start, we saw the owner every morning at breakfast. He stopped at every table to say hello to the breakfast guests. He knew his employees names and greeted them as well. The manager, Ms. Rose, was kind, honest and so helpful. Margaret, our excursion planner and so much more, was kind, and attentive to all our needs. She made appropriate suggestions and helped in anyway she could. Our Ambassadors, Pabs and Kanna, I am not sure I can find the words to describe them, but i felt like they were family and was so sad to leave them. They catered to our every need and then some. They knew our itinerary and made sure anything we had planned went well. They decorated our room for our anniversary and showed up to give us rides in the golf cart multiple times without us even asking. OMG, they were the best!! The bar tenders....Gabe, Andre, & Erik (there were others but these stand out) WERE THE BEST!!! Ask for a special drink and get one that is literally on fire, ask for a mojito, get the best one you have ever had, need drinks while in the pool or in a floating tube on the beach, you will have a full one every time you look, want a special looking coffee, get one that has the drawing of a cat. And...they are ALWAYS smiling and treating you like royalty. AMAZING!! I have to give a shout out to Forest, who every morning met me to open the gate so i could go for my morning walk to devils bridge. When I returned he had coffee, water and morning snacks for me. So kind, so sweet and just wonderful! We were in VILLA #11, two down from the pool. At first I hoped to be further away from the main area, but it was the perfect location, as you did not have to walk to get to anything and felt very private. However, if i were to make one negative comment, which pains me to do, i wish this villa was a bit more sound proof. There is a lot of vegetation and the tree frogs were SO LOUD at night. The first few nights we had a hard time sleeping. We did talk to another couple who were further away and they had no idea what we were talking about. Otherwise the villa had more room then we would ever need and Marvin had the bar stocked with everything we needed daily. The shower, well, I would love one in my house!! Just Amazing. My husband and i rarely go to a place and commit to returning, but this place WE WILL BE BACK, and we are bring friends!! We originally only booked 4 nights, but extended to 6 nights, thank goodness! The excursions we took were also great. Our favorite was the Calypso Cay Catamaran tour. The crew, Ernest, Timon and Danielle were incredible. Also, catering to our every need while making sure we had fun too. The tour itself is beautiful and both my husband and i had a great time. Joy with Pink Jeep Tours was great. We loved seeing the Island with her and sharing life experiences together. We were the only ones on the tour and loved the one on one time we had a one of the only Antigen natives we met. Don't hesitate and book. Might just be the best vacation you have ever had!!! Please tell Rose the Frog people said hello!!! Read less

I had the best stay at Hammock Cove. I live in Antigua so I know all about the best beaches, restaurants, experiences, etc. and this surpassed every expectation. This hotel has one of my favorite hotel rooms in all of Antigua! It's truly spacious, modern and well designed. The huge bathroom & plunge pool make it feel even more special. I highly recommend ocean front rooms, to be able to have undisturbed views of the sunset was spectacular. Ive visited many hotels in Antigua over the years, and this is the only one I'm dying to go back to! Read less

We recently returned from a week long vacation here and it was fabulous! The staff are wonderful and the attention to detail impeccable. This was our first visit to a small resort, but now we are hooked. You get to know everyone quickly and they got to know us by name. Chef Marco and the culinary team take great pride in the preparation and presentation of each course and it’s very good! The resort owner visited on several occasions and took the time to say hello, asking how everything was. A very successful hotelier taking his time to speak to the guests says a lot! Special thanks to all the staff for making our stay so memorable!! People like Ms. Rose, Ms. Margaret, Lorenzo, Julio, David, Eriche, our ambassadors Sheldon & Mark, Marco, Desa, Troy, Joel....too many names to thank. You all made our week special and memories that will stay with us forever! Can’t wait to return....hopefully, there can be some live music as the situation with pandemic improves. Read less

Exclusive. Exquisite. Those are the first two words that come to mind when thinking of this resort. We just landed back in the states from our 6 day/5 night trip to paradise! The entire staff goes out of their way to make your stay exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were whisked by our Ambassador to the bar for a beautiful while they worked on getting your room ready. Our suite was #27 and while it wasn't Oceanfront IT WAS PRIVATE with an outstanding view. We loved every second of that room! The outdoor living area was a complete dream with a plunge pool, bar area, tons of seating and the view was breath-taking. Each morning we visited the small private beach and laid in the rings in the sea while being served cocktails in the ring! The ambassador phone was a special touch and made the stay worry free! While we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary (plus one year since we were in lockdown last year), we wanted to do nothing but relax and soak in the sun. The weather was perfection the entire trip (mid-April stay) with highs in the low 80s and lows in the mid 70s. We did manage to take the Pink Panther tour in the afternoon and got to witness Shirley Heights at Sunset (will blow your mind!). While we saw some great sites I'm not sure I'd book it again as we felt slightly beat up so to speak from the jeep for 4 hours on roads that are not paved well. With that said, I'm glad we went. The spa was great and we received excellent massages and body wraps. Also, we had a special dinner in the pink gazebo on our actual anniversary. Very special memories! THANK YOU TO THE INCREDIBLE STAFF that went above and beyond to make us feel special: Hudson, Julio, Pabs, Keyanna, Sheldon, Lorenzo, Khamara, all wen out of their way for us. BRAVO on such a special place- can't wait to return! Read less
