Our stay at Hammock Cove was beyond all expectations. Our most recent trip was our 6th visit to Antigua but our first time to stay at Hammock Cove - in the past we've always stayed at Galley Bay. The beginning of our vacation was a bit stressful due to our luggage not making a tight connection in Atlanta. Absolutely no fault of the resort - but they did their absolute best to help us in every way possible. The grounds and the facilities at Hammock Cove are gorgeous. The rooms are spacious and beautiful - from the decor to the views. The beach is lovely and quaint - a perfect balance between boardwalk and sand. Devil's Bridge is said to be a 10 minute walk away but it's more like 2 minutes - and a sight to behold. The views are amazing. Moving to the people - our Ambassadors Jervawn and Devannty were so wonderful, kind and sweet. The beach waitstaff were prompt and attentive all day long. Chef Marco and his team could not be better - the food was unbelievable. The demonstration was fantastic, the 7 course meal was out of this world, lobster night and oysters at the beach - it was all just dreamy and oh-so delicious. Lighthouse servers were top-notch and professional. Joel at the Lighthouse bar - he's the very best along with his sidekicks - they seemed to rotate nightly. Rob Barrett has certainly put serious and meaningful thought into providing ultimate experiences for relaxing vacations. Picking between Galley Bay and Hammock Cove would be like asking someone to pick a favorite child. We adore both for different qualities - but be assured that we are still completely in love with Antigua and cannot wait to return. Read less

The staff treated us like royalty during our entire stay. We met the owner and we had no idea he was the owner. We later found out that he likes to walk around a speak to the guests to get authentic feedback. This is the BEST resort we have had the pleasure of staying at. It is costly, but it is worth every bit of the cost. Read less

Arrived at Hammock Cove for our second spot while vacationing in Antigua. From the moment we arrived everything was top-notch, sitting at the bar waiting to be checked in was a lot of fun and Nigel the bartender was absolute perfection. The check-in process was easy breezy and we got our room very fast. Our ambassadors Sheldon and Tehron were fantastic. The rooms at the hammock Cove art incredible especially the bathroom very very spacious. The outdoor patio was a dream, we stayed in the beachfront room and loved every minute of it. The beach was beautiful, nice warm still water. We did take out the clear kayaks and that was fun to do right off the beach at the cove. Irina's restaurant was our favorite place to eat as the Lighthouse did not have meals that we are typically used to. Our ambassador Tehron set us up with the seven course dinner at the Lighthouse for our first night and it was a fun experience but we did leave hungry. All the staff at Hammock Cove is very nice and accommodating. We actually stayed during the hurricane and they were well prepared to handle the situation. Our stay was extended due to the airport being closed due to hurricane and they let us stay during their hurricane rate per night in our same villa. Everything at Hammock Cove was phenomenal except one thing that did rub me the wrong way, there was a woman that works there with rectangle glasses that made us feel unwelcome after we had to extend our stay due to airport being closed and not getting a flight 3 days after we were initially supposed to check out. She gave us the cold shoulder and literally put our bags outside of the resort when our car arrived and did not say goodbye or anything. But besides that I would highly recommend hammock Cove for your next Antigua luxury vacation. Read less

I travel 2/3 time a year and have stayed at some beautiful places. This resort is the smallest I’ve been to and am so impressed with everything. The entire staff is amazing. Hands down the best service I’ve ever had. They only have 2 restaurants but the menu changes daily and they are extremely accommodating to changes and special requests. I also loved how the owner of the resort would come everyday and introduce himself to the guest. Every staff member I spoke to would say what an amazing boss he was and how well they were treated. We selected Hammock Cove for our stay and truly enjoyed a luxurious, pampered retreat that will forever be a trip to live up to. We received such professional, thoughtful and kind service from all of our ambassadors during our visit, who made sure every detail and reservation was curated exactly how we would want it. We were so lucky with our ambassadors, they took EXCEPTIONAL care of us. The resort maintains an intimate feel, with all of the villas having a private plunge pool, balcony and relaxing space, fully equipped with all five star amenities and modern designs. We took advantage of the included activities, from a private cooking lesson from the Michelin rated chef in the kitchen, to caviar and champagne served on the beach, the offerings were enough to not want to leave the resort. The team truly made the difference, ensuring that every need was met before we even asked, our drinks stayed full and that we truly just relaxed during our time there, we will certainly be back.
