The Hammock Cove was so special that we were compelled to write the following. And it truly starts with the general manager, Rosario who makes you feel welcomed and it carries through to the staff. Upon arrival we were greeted by an ambassador that is provided throughout your entire stay. Our ambassadors were Sheldon and Juwan. Each guest is given 2 ambassadors and these gentlemen ensure your holiday is enjoyable. Essentially making sure you have ice in your villa, spirits of your choice, reservations at the spa and dinner at the LightHouse. And if you had any worries prior to entering Cove, once you step through the doors, you are taken straight through to the bar to unwind and have a drink which was prepared to your liking by Jason. The views from our villa were breathtaking as the Cove is naturally protected from the crashing waves adjacent to Devil’s Bridge. And if you so desire you can catch the sunrise from Devil’s Bridge which is a short walk from Hammock Cove. Our villa had its own infinity pool with water views of the cove and sunset views each evening. The private beach at the Cove was so clear and calm that you didn't need to venture far to see the different types of tropical fish present. There is plenty to do such as kayaking, paddle boarding or just basking in the sun. We were never without a beverage as the beach staff were so attentive. And if you need to get away from the beach try, Pickleball. Each meal at Irina’s, breakfast and lunch, was exceptional and the staff (Ms. Lucy, Khamara and Gabby) aimed to please by making each meal special. Gabby, the barista, also makes wonderful rum drinks in the evening at the “Nobody Knows Bar”. At breakfast one morning we met Mr. Barrett, the owner who was delightful to talk with, who really cares about the property. Every moment of our stay was special and we always looked forward to the formal dining at the LightHouse. Each evening we were received by Troy who’s in charge of the dining room and always made sure that we got our favorite table. Our servers were mostly Collette and Desa and they were delightful to talk to and did a fantastic job! And Silvia the sommelier always chose a great wine to match the delicious food. And if you need a break from basking in the sun the Spa experience with the aromatherapy and hot stone massage which was recommended by Angie was most relaxing. Elizabeth was great and always asked if the pressure was ok. Overall, you can’t go wrong booking a stay at Hammock Cove. We can’t wait to go back as it was truly one of our most relaxing trips ever to the Caribbean. We were so spoiled by this experience that we plan to go back again and again. Read less

We can’t tell you how wonderfully surprised we were at the beautiful decorations and romantic music as we came down to the gazebo! The evening and really, the entire trip, was beyond our wildest expectations! We greatly appreciated Leon who was so warm and kind as he served us an amazing meal in the gazebo. The food was delicious, but I have to say it felt like we were with people who genuinely cared about us and our happiness. I also wanted to call out the officiant who was also an amazing and central part of our experience. We expected to have a very brief, formal and somewhat impersonal ceremony given that he did not know us, but he too, went beyond our expectations! His approach to the ceremony, the desire to assure we both fully understood and appreciated the true meaning of becoming husband and wife came through so beautifully. We feel blessed to have found Hammock Cove to begin our married life together. Read less

My husband and I visited Hammock Cove for our honeymoon, and to say we were pampered doesn’t even begin to describe our experience. We didn’t have to lift a finger the entire week of our stay. Our room had a view of the ocean and a private pool. The snorkeling boat tour was a blast and zip lining was just as fun. We went to stingray city where we saw and fed a bunch of friendly stingrays. Every dinner we had at the Lighthouse was uniquely exceptional as was breakfast and lunch at Irina’s Diner. The entire staff from our ambassador Sheldon, bartenders Jason and David, Ms. Lucy, Ms. Margaret, and everyone else not mentioned made our honeymoon perfect. I cannot wait to return over and over. If you’re thinking of going to Antigua, staying at Hammock Cove is a MUST. Read less

Waterfront Villa was the way to go. Uninterrupted view of water with no one between you and the water. The Villa was HUGE as well as the bathroom. The terrace was HUGE and each villa has a private plunge pool... with full privacy to do with what you want. Food was excellent and everything we expected. Pools were small but perfect size for the size of the resort. If you want a large party resort, this is NOT it. If you want a small and relaxing getaway that caters to your every need. It was perfect and we would definitely return! I want to make sure to acknowledge three (3) outstanding staff members. They absolutely made our trip even better! Phares Sheldon Eric Kudos and they deserve the utmost recognition for going above and beyond during out entire stay! Read less

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at Hammock Cove Antigua. Having stayed at several Elite Island properties, Mr Barrett and his team have outdone themselves. The property is gorgeous and well maintained. The moment we arrived prior to check in we were taken to the bar where Master Mixologist Jason created us his signature tequila cocktail. After check in, one of our Ambassadors, Juwan, gave us a tour of the grounds and then took us to our villa. The room was beautiful and the view even more so. The outdoor space with the private plunge pool made us never want to leave. Dining at the Lighthouse was second to none. Troy the manager took good care of us prior to dinner. Bartenders Andre and Joel had our drinks ready before we sat down. Chef Marco and his team provided a 5 star dining experience. Pastry chef Neil created picture perfect desserts. A cooking class with Chef Marco and his sous chef Santo was offered during our stay. This should not be missed. Can’t say enough positives about Hammock Cove. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Special thanks to our Ambassadors Sheldon and Juwan and Jason at Irina’s kept us constantly entertained. One suggestion- install more ceiling fans, especially over the bar in Irina’s and the outdoor dining area. Five stars is not enough for the Hammock Cove experience. Read less
