Their stunning ocean & beach is in front of this complex so we sunbathed in front of both every day throughout our holiday. Our room was very nice with very comfy beds & breakfast was of high quality as was all food in both Italian & A La Carte restaurant! 😋😋😋Burgers, pizza & fries/ice cream were amazing! 😋😋😋 Staff were very bubbly & attentive especially our hotel maid (young girl) 🙂🙂 Entertainment was fantastic featuring karaoke & live music to dance to. Only disappointment was Antigua's town centre is a good distance from complex however we had a lovely taxi driver to take us there on a day out touring there as well as Dockyard & Devil's Bridge all of which made a great day out. We will definitely return to Pineapple Beach Club & we look forward to that when we do. I wrote this review in December 2017 I must have deleted it by mistake apologies to Pineapple Beach Club & TripAdvisor. Read less

My husband and I visited PBC the last 2 weeks of September and had an amazing time. The hotel has a lovely laid back vibe and is full of character and charm. On arrival we were not assigned the room type that we thought we'd booked but Amber from reception sorted this and assigned us room 229. It's a beautiful room, right on the beach front, spacious, airy and we had everything we needed. Housekeeping was good throughout the fortnight, cleaning every two days and replenishing towels whenever needed.. We thought the bed was comfy and the quality of the bed linen and towels was good. The beach is the highlight of this resort. Think tropical paradise. The resort gardens are stunning and there is crocket, shuffle board and relaxation stations for guests to enjoy. We thought the food and service in The Pineapple Grill was excellent and we liked Chef Pietro and Topaz A La Carte too. Buffet service in Topaz for breakfast was slow due to current covid protocol and the breakfast selection was underwhelming. However, we always found something nice to eat. The Outback BBQ for lunch shouldn't be missed and if you have room after the ribs and chicken don't miss out on the Outback cookies! We also loved the weekly Street Party Buffet and trying the Caribbean food. Having the steel band playing in the background whilst we ate was perfection. We found all the staff to be friendly and professional. Its hard to single anyone out but we partulicularly liked Arlene, who warmly welcomed us to The Outback each day like we were family, Judith who was so friendly and efficient at front of house in the restaurants, and Kevenia in Topaz who was very sweet and helpful. At all times we felt extremely covid secure in this hotel, everything was kept spotless, sanitiser was plentiful and all staff wore masks at all times setting an excellent example for the guests to follow. When we were there Antigua had beach restrictions meaning the it was available til 5pm during the week and 12 noon Saturday and Sunday. I worried about this before the holiday and I wish I hadn't because it didn't affect my stay at all. Most people left the beach before 5pm and at weekends we just moved to one of the beautiful swimming pools. We never had any trouble finding a sunbed on either the beach or by a pool. This was a fantastic holiday, even though we were travelling during a pandemic. I thoroughly recommend PBC. Read less

Where to start! After 4 postponed weddings in Italy and travel to Jamaica being cancelled at the final hour we booked the pineapple beach club without the hours of research we’d usually put into a holiday, never mind a wedding! Reading some of the reviews we didn’t have the highest expectations for the rooms, food or drinks and was so delighted to be pleasantly surprised on all fronts! We booked a beachfront room and when we arrived was shown to a room 2 steps from the sand - the room was smaller and more basic than some hotels we’ve visited but when your so close to the white sand and turquoise sea it doesn’t matter! Sanjay (the general manager) then came and moved us to another room (not that we asked!) as she wanted to take special care of us as the wedding couple which was such a lovely surprise, this room was facing the sea, much bigger and had more of a modern feel. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, very authentically Caribbean which feels very romantic and relaxed. In terms of food you have the buffet, 2 restaurants, the snack bar and the outhouse. The buffet breakfast was great, buffet dinner was good but limited options. The main restaurants were fantastic, especially the pineapple grill, loads of fabulous options including fillet steak and lobster for a small charge and if you don’t fancy paying a little extra there are still loads to choose from and the menu regularly updated. Being a foodie I was really impressed with the seasoning and flavour of everything served and the wine was delicious! Snack bar was great for lunches with everything cooked to order, fish tacos with their own hot sauce was a fave of mine! The outhouse is also really special, you feel like your outside of the hotel altogether, slow cooked ribs, jerk style chicken, rice & peas, grilled fish and more! Very easy to spend a whole afternoon up there drinking bottles of banks beer looking over the amazing views. The drinks were outstanding, all labelled spirits and cocktails made to perfection, (Maritza and Suzette are the best!!) the hardest decision of the day was what to drink next! The beach is stunning, yes there is some seaweed in the morning but very quickly cleaned up, the sand is so white it never gets hot! Sea is a perfect warm temperature and some great snorkelling around by the reef (when the sea is calm). The infinity pool was our favourite place to be as you felt you were on the beach with the option of jumping in the water. I would also recommend checking out the trips with the marvellous Marvin! Finally our wedding day…wow! We couldn’t have felt more taken care of, Sanjay, the wedding planners Sheree and Anne-Marie, the minister, photographer and Roger our waiter were all faultless, they did everything they could to make the day perfect. We opted for a private dinner at the hilltop pagoda which is also where we had our ceremony, it was completely private and beautifully decorated. We didn’t feel like we needed to worry about a thing. We will definitely be coming back in the near future and perhaps splitting our time with another elite resort on the Caribbean side of the island! Every member of the team at the resort are incredible, I wish we could name them all! Again a huge thanks for an amazing holiday and perfect wedding day. Read less

Third time to this lovely hotel which is not thank god a concrete jungle as some can be. Ignored the bad reviews some had written re the food etc as we are not so daft as to think everything will be prefect when Covid is still around. how right we were. All meals were fine although the communication of when different restaurants were open was a bit bad but we were always found a place. We had problems with the aircon but that was sorted albeit after a few tries and we were given compensation so cannot complain. as for no buffet etc that is a corvid requirement bit we were offered as much as we wanted. there were once or twice slow service but again we are in a Covid period. I would like there to be another aircon restaurant as it did stay very warm at night. All in all we had a really relaxing time. Read less
