We had never done anything like this and staff was always ready to help and get us where we were trying to get to. Reception welcomed us with Champagne and Ice cold hand towels when we arrived-the cold towel was great after traveling all day. They drove us to our room and we were off on our adventure. There are multiple places to eat-you have to make reservations at 2 of them but reservations is located in the main lounge/pool area. There are multiple pools and multiple bars available as well as seating on the beach. The concierge in the main lounge area will also help you set up daily excursions-all kinds of trips to see local sights. We are planning on going back next year....and can't wait. Read less

Friends I traveled with had the same problem and also asked to be moved. Had a nicer room ( Waterfront) however, had to call maintenence to fix handle in shower ( it fell off the tile ) air conditioner ( flap did not open - they couldnt fix it ). The revews I read stated that all rooms were renovated ( discovered mold on ceiling and stained lampshades in room. Also no information in rooms re.how to contact reception( had to ask at guest services ) and no channel guide for TV. Would return to Antigua but unfortunately not this resort. Read less

The activities - aqua aerobics, beach volleyball, corn hole, were fun. Both the visitors and staff were friendly, outgoing, funny, and energetic. It's a very small resort, not one with tons of activities, but was perfect for us. They pair with larger resorts for trips (Cat Catamaran was a favorite of ours). The rooms are a little older, and could do with a renovation - especially more lighting, and the food was good, not great, but feeding buffet to a large group of people is always challenging. They do have other restaurants on the resort included in the all inclusive rate - the Outhouse was a favorite of ours - best bbq ribs we've had. Great time. Read less

Unfortunately, because EVERYONE in the resort was trying to use it, it was extremely difficult to connect. We wound up buying the $42 7-day package. Of the 7 days we were there, the WiFi we spent $42 on was unavailable for at least a day and a half. We never really had trouble finding lounge chairs, but beach/pool towels were scarce after about noon. If you’re in one of the 2-story buildings closest to the beach, ask for an upper unit. We were in a lower unit and it sounded like a thundering heard of elephants stomping around in the upper units. The beach was beautiful, the pools, although small, were never over crowded. We really did enjoy our trip. Read less

The food in the buffet is good. breakfast and lunch are good.. dinner could be improved but all.in all its nice. we didnt get the chance to try the other restaurants because they were full so book 4 days in advance!lunch time though, if you walk to the top of the resort is the outhouse and they do the best ribs and jerk chicken ever!!! all fresh on the bbq and the views over the bat are amazing! They also have a snack bar serving thinks like nachos, burgers, wings, fries etc etc so you'll never go hungry! 1 night a week they have a beach party and bbq with a steel drum band and that's great fun!! The rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped. Cleaned daily. Our room was a bit dark but I'm guessing it depends what direction your room is facing. All in all this resort is perfect. If you want to book trips speak to Marvellous Marvin on the beach.. hes great!! highly recommend the majestic boat tour and 100000% stingray city!! tou get to swim and feed wild stingrays!!! it's crazy!!
