Bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. All staff was awesome- front desk, Crusoes staff, housekeeping and especially the bartenders. Christal (woot-woot) is the only bartender who has been there since I've been staying at Comfort Suites, but new guys Hillwood and Tim were great to interact with too. If you're looking for a comfortable place to stay that's a little more laid back than Atlantis, this is it (plus you get to use Altantis' amenities when you stay at CS). Looking forward to stay #16! Comfort Suites surprised us with how nice the location and accommodations were. Taxis, are worth doing some research. The cheapest quote we had for my family of 4 was $52 from the airport. Some quotes were way more... We stopped at a Super Value and it worked out great. We basically packed our own lunches for our trip. There was a liqour store beside the grocery store with rum for $12 a bottle which is way cheaper than anywhere on paradise island. Bring a soft cooler and you are set. The nicest hot tub is at Harbour Side, they also have a nice pool... it's worth the walk if you are interested. We brought a mini crock pot that allowed us to cook noodles and soup which saved us alot of money. You need to ask for the $100 credit when you check in. And you need to check that they applied it when you check out. If you like snorkling then the best spot is in the lagoon at Alantis right under the man bridge and along the rocks. There was alot to see there, and it is protected when the waves are large Read less

PROS- The Comfort Suites give you access to the Waterpark and the Coral pool and beaches. It is also a block away from the excellent restaurants in the Marina Village, Coral and the Royal. The daily free breakfast is adequate-nothing facy but fine. CONS-This hotel needs a serious update. Shabbly is covered but not the chic. Our room was supposed to be ready for check-in at 3 and wans't ready til after 4. When we asked for a late checkout to compensate the answer was an unfriendly NO. The toliet in our room did not flush and the phone and safe were not working. They fixed the toliet but did not respond to assistance with the phone or safe. The room wasn't the cleanest when we checked in. The white comforter was filled with yellow sweat stains, I asked for a replacement but did not receive one. The floor was dirty particularly around the safe. The breakfast venue was dirty. Theoutside tables were not cleaned after a guest used them, nor were the inside tables. Bird poop covered some of the outside tables. For $400 a night I expected a cleaner, more updated hotel. It was a huge disappointment with the exception of the location. Read less

We originally booked this hotel for Christmas. December 23-30. Traveling with two teenagers. Booked directly with hotel. Room price was decent, then the fees start getting added. Thats where people need to be aware of how much you are actually spending on fees. Atlantis is not "included" you are paying a prime price. Room rate plus 21% tax- okay $5.00 per day per person- so $140 a day plus the 21% tax-okay Then you get the following information. Children 12-15, an extra $44.50 plus 21% per day resort fee. So $376.92 Teenager ages 16 an extra $92.80 plus 21% per day. So $786.02 When we booked our room, we were charged almost $1200 in fees. When I received the email about the extra fees for the teenagers, I asked what the $1200 included. As 21% tax and housekeeping, did not amount to $1200. The hotel could not tell me. That is correct, you do not get a break down of the fees. In the end, this hotel was going to cost a total of $961 Canadian per night. Yes, that is correct- for a Comfort Inn. We ended up booking Harborside at Atlantis, for a two bedroom condo for CHEAPER. In the end, the fees were more then the actual hotel stay. For a two bed hotel room. Read less
