They also have a free covid test for hotel guests. Another real positive is the access to Aquaventure in Atlantis, ☹️ The staff at breakfast are not very friendly, they are either not very happy with their job or they don’t want to be nice with guests, my guess is that they are under orders to be as strict as possible in regards to giving out the breakfast, also, don’t expect any cereal or pancakes. And if you go to the restaurant for lunch or dinner, be prepared for waiting for at least one hour for your food to get ready! Read less

We would like to thank The Comfort Suites staff for their fantastic hospitality and service during our stay in December. The guest experience was superb across the board in every interaction throughout the trip, whether at the front desk, with housekeeping, or in the restaurant. The staff was very well-trained professionally, but even more importantly, there was genuine care in their approach to interacting with the guests. Would go as far as saying that the service was noticeably better than what we experienced at Atlantis. I would highly recommend the property and will return for sure. Read less

Budget and family-friendly for Paradise Island. The staff is excellent, friendly, and attentive. The rooms are larger, clean, and solid. Many minor issues with the room and most were solved ( safe, phone, lights, towel rack ). The annoying fire alarm went off nightly during our 7 night stay. Many minor issues with the room and most were solved ( safe, phone, lights, towel rack ). The annoying fire alarm went off nightly during our 7 night stay. Ate American breakfast at 7am… it was hot, ticketed, supervised, and better than any Hampton Inn or Fairfield Inn complimentary breakfast. Eating outside each day was wonderful! Take your pink hotel card and hotel key to Atlantis to enter everything. The Free Wrist band for Atlantis never worked while we were there… had to take paper card, key, and credit card to the water park… tough on the slides. Bring Ziploc bags. Recommend swimming in the calm ocean between Cove beach and Paradise beach! Recommend the water taxi one way to Nassau… be prepared to wait. Then walk over to Fish Fry for More authentic Nassau and fresh Fish. Cash only everywhere. Bring lots of cash/ room safe Read less

About Christmas / Peak Weeks: Paradise Island and the hotel were full, but neither the hotel nor Atlantis felt overly crowded. Perhaps more restrictions on cruise / non-staying visitors during peak weeks. Restaurant reservations were the biggest challenge - book ahead of your trip! About COVID: I empathize with the staff here and everywhere across PI as they deal with the economic necessity of international travelers. As a traveler - plan for a possible extended stay, bring home-COVID tests and whatever you may need for work/school. Should anyone in your party test positive, you will be quarantined to your room until everyone tests negative. The rooms are spacious, though few (if any) have balconies, and the WiFi can become very sluggish. Further, the hotel is not set up for room service. The staff make a reasonable effort to bring ordered food/water/toiletries, but you're largely on your own. About the hotel: This is primarily about the value of getting Atlantis access for a fraction of the price of an Atlantis property - while being as close or closer to the action. If your expectation is a decent, clean room, a pool and bar/restaurant good enough for a quieter day/night, and a short walk to Atlantis, you will not be disappointed. Good points: Rooms clean and spacious with refrigerator. Friendly staff; Michael is a great bartender Hotel exit right at the entrance of Casino Drive (short walk to everything) Pool area with tiki bar and swim-up bar... Breakfasts were simple but good -- much nicer to eat by the pool, but watch out for opportunistic seagulls. Things that could be better: Pool was freezing... likely only a concern in winter months following a cold or rainy stretch (as was the case when we went) Internet access/wifi is underprovisioned The beds in two queen (really - two full) are awkward, as you can really only get into them from the middle. One is about a foot away from a wall, and the other is nestled right up against that half wall separating the living area from the sleeping area. Lots of little things that don't matter a great deal if expectations are set properly - the phone system (in the process of being upgraded) is almost completely useless, several broken ice machines, our door had a crack as if someone had tried to kick it in, the sliding door to the outside required serious force to open/close, and the safe was the unsafest safe imaginable... and didn't work in any event. In all, a great place to enjoy Paradise Island and Atlantis without breaking the bank. Read less
