The hotel

Part of the Baha Mar resort, Rosewood offers exclusivity and luxury within the bustling complex, so you’ll still feel relaxed and taken care of whilst having plenty of activities on offer – both at land and sea! New Providence’s cable beach is the stunning location for this hotel, which offers modern accommodation ranging from hotel rooms to suites with fully equipped kitchens should you wish to dine in. Service at the resort reflects that of the Bahamas as whole, warm and sincere, with butler options available to take your stay to the next level. If you’re travelling with the kids (or even if you’re not!), Baha Bay water park is a must-visit to get the adrenaline pumping and work up an appetite for dinner. It’s a tough choice for where to go though, with over 40 bars and restaurants available, all of which allow you to simply sign to your room for added ease.

230 rooms, suites and beachfront villas with contemporary beach cottage interiors. All with private balcony/patio, 55” TV, complimentary WiFi, tea/coffee-making facilities, bathrobe and slippers, separate shower and bath, bathroom amenities, in-room safe and hairdryer.  Butler service is included in One-Bedroom Suites, Specialty Suites and Villas. Resort View rooms are located on floors 1-7, with 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people. 

Ocean View rooms are located on floors 6-12, with partial sea views and either 1 king-size or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people. 

Premier Ocean View rooms are located on floors 6-9, with full ocean views and 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people. 

Studio Suites with resort or ocean views, featuring a separate living area and a kitchenette, as well as 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 people. 

One Bedroom Suites with resort or ocean views, comprising of a full marble bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, living room, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 people. One Bedroom Suites include butler service. 

Grand One Bedroom Suites are larger in size, with resort views and a fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining room, full marble bathroom, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 people. Grand One Bedroom Suites include butler service.

Valet parking $19 plus tax per day (payable locally, fee subject to change).

Weather was also great for us. Not too hot, partly cloudy everyday. Housekeeping was faultless. Rooms had some issues while we were there - they were doing some water something or another and we had no hot water or water pressure on and off throughout the stay. Management was very apologetic and comped some of our stay to make up for it. Air also had issues and the room wouldn’t cool under 70/75 degrees. Maintenance attempted to fix it throughout the stay but couldn’t figure it out. Cafe Bouloud was by far the best food in the entire Baha Mar complex. All meals were so so good. And the library for lunch and wine is heavenly. Staff are very well trained and it shows. Even with the room issues we would definitely go back. Easy and relaxing with kids. Baha Mar kids club was good for a night out and our little one loved it (she’s 8). The one at the RW is good but not quite as exciting for the older kids. The 5 star reviews must be from people who have never stayed at true luxury resorts in places like Mexico, because this Rosewood is not only triple the price, but worse in every way. The rooms are tiny with sparse amenities. Expect to hear mediocre cover bands blasting music outside your room, crowds chanting sweet home Alabama in the bar, kids running wild screaming everywhere, a giant casino with the casino crowd you’d expect, and overall just people everywhere. This is not somewhere to go if you are looking for something tranquil, upscale, or relaxing. Think cheap cruise or amusement park as opposed to a luxury resort. The only good dinner we had was at OIA which is not even at Baha Mar. The options for room service taste like stale continental breakfast at a holiday inn , but charging $140. Read less

If you are looking for a super high end quiet place to enjoy the day Nexus is it. Water Park: This is a lot of fun. There is a reservation only section by the pools which we walked through and looked really nice. $125 per person that they give you back in food and beverage. Looked worth it. Rooms: Service was fantastic. Special thanks to Mohamed! Food: Hard to go wrong at any of the restaurants - they are all good. Yes, they are expensive but the food is great and portions are generous. Casino and Sportsbook: Vegas level dealers who are helpful and fun. Low table minimums and lots of options. I would gamble with Ricardo any day. Sportsbook was packed for numerous games, fun vibe to watch a game. Overall - Great resort with lots to do and amazing service. Read less
