Recommended this hotel by a friend but we were warned of some of the pitfalls in advance so our feedback isn’t a surprise. The pros and cons: Pros: - beautiful resort - great large rooms. The room are really high quality and create a lovely environment - beach is lovely - snorkelling is awesome, saw loads of fish and turtles - lots of things to do on site and wasn’t too busy - rosewood is the best (in our view) hotel in the resort as nice and quiet Cons: - the staff - the worst customer service we’ve ever experienced in a hotel. Consistently disinterested, unhelpful and general low quality from the check in desk, the concierge, the restaurant staff, the coffee shop staff, the pool staff - everyone - no one likes working there and no one likes the customers - food is awful - it’s really low quality. There are no options for families, we basically ate pizzas and Starbucks for the entire week (queue for Starbucks is 45 mins as everyone is doing the same) - prices!! Absolutely insane. It’s a complete and utter rip off. A steak in the restaurant - $200, a jug of milk in the room for your coffee - $25, chips and chicken strips on beach - $25. It is simply too expensive with very limited choices. This has to be addressed, everyone was complaining. It’s a shame as this hotel could really top the charts as it’s beautiful and has an amazing location. The management should close the hotel for a month and hire and train new enthusiastic staff. They also need to open more family restaurants and stop ripping off customers. This place made our annual Dubai holiday look like a cut price budget bargain deal! Read less

We were harassed by one of the stuff members (I am pretty sure he was security). He repeatedly initiated conversations with my underage daughter. He told her repeatedly that the only reason why we are guests in this hotel and he is staff is because she is white and he is black. She came to us crying. We reported this to their on sight manager and… Read more

I went to Baha Mar a while ago go and I had a great experience. They toke care of the guests and had great service, sometimes it was a little bit slow but overall good. The rooms were really comfortable and the water park was really cool even for traveling with little kids. I think Baha Mar is really worth it and I definitely recommend it.

Great place for a family vacation! Service is superb and restaurant options are amazing! The beach and swimming pools amenities are great. Having access to the casino is a big plus. Will try golfing next time. The whole family found something to do.
