Beautiful hotel and rooms but way to expensive food and drink choices. Guest need to be aware that a gin and tonic with dinner will set you back $25.00 after tip and VAT. Dinner entrees also very expensive. A nice piece of fresh fish will be about $70.00 after tip and VAT. The service throughout the hotel was less than we expected.

So, 3 out of 5 isn’t too good, but we still enjoyed our little get away!! They get points for the beach & brilliant aquamarine, calm surf. They also get points for the accommodations. Our hotel room was on the 12th floor facing west which gave us views of the pool, beach & the variety of cruise ships coming/going into the port. To us, this view from our balcony was entertaining. The bathroom was quite large, the king sized bed was just right and the small living area was a good size for 2 people. There was a coffeemaker in the room, but no bottled water to make coffee or tea. The tap water was not to our liking. However, there was a small refrigerator for purchased food/drink. Our dinners out at the Silan & the Fish were quite pricey, but very good experiences! The negatives for us: the $100 lunches; the $200+ dinners; & the $25 alcohol drinks. But the biggest disappointment was the staff. The majority of the staff on the premises were literally just there. They were checking their phones, on their phones talking, or w/other staff members chitchatting. Basically, they responded when asked a question & didn’t go above and beyond. The Casino was freezing & Black Jack minimum was $25 at 7pm on a Tuesday night. One last negative for us, was that the pool was closed at 7 pm. Not 9 pm or 11 pm…we are talking 7 pm!! So, as they say, know what you want and what you don’t want!! Read less

Service at Fish and Paranza were great but our server at Perch was very sullen and unfriendly. 2) The server/bartender Cheyenne at Frezca was fabulous. We so enjoyed ourselves at Frezca because of Cheyenne. Unfortunately the food at Frezca was also quite terrible (low quality ingredients, very little fish in the sushi and also very meagre portions in the poke bowls). Read less
