We stayed at the Reef on the Harborside. it was very nice. Lots of activities. We went to the water park, beach and pool everyday. The free shuttle service was a life saver to get around Paradise Island.

I stayed at the Reef. It was beautiful and clean. However, during my 5 night stay I experienced: a toilet that took half an hour for its tank to fill so someone else could use it. No water for 45 minutes one day. No hot water for at least an hour another day. On top of that, nothing else is really included in the cost except for walking around the resort, using the pool and beach, and looking at the marina tanks. The food was just good but the costs for the food was outrageous. If I'm going to pay $60 for an 8 ounce filet mignon, it better be SUPERB, It was not. the food, on the whole was just okay. The only thing that is really really worth the price of this hotel are the staff. They are amazing. Every single one that I interacted with were amazing and accommodating and friendly and cheerful. Great management availability and friendliness. Poor restaurants at the Reef and Cove. All employees were responsive and friendly. Beach service was excellent. Overall a great resort but getting a little pricey due to the taxes.

We heard and read all sorts of negative stuff about the Atlantis. We heard and read all sorts of negative stuff about the Atlantis. We even heard one female blowhole in line at the airport spewing some nonsense about how the Baha Mar is so great and that the Atlantis is dated and sucks. Let me tell you, it's been a long time since I visited here, and we loved it! Me and my wife were here for my 55th and we stayed at the Reef because we wanted the convenience of having a kitchenette. First of all, everything is beautiful, the accommodations are large and practically every room has a view. We had an ocean front studio that was really big and comfortable. A couple of minor maintenance calls and the terribly courteous repair people were there in 30 minutes. Our cleaning person, Joycelyn (16th floor) was fantastic. I like to tip everybody and it was so appreciated, cleaning up everyday and loading us up with towels and anything we needed...was no problem. Yeah it's expensive, so stop at a liquor store on your way from the airport and pick up some snacks, booze and whatever you don't want to have to buy from the lobby. But we are from Delray Beach / Boca Raton FL area and yeah it's a few bucks more for the nice restaurants, but we're kinda used to that. If your here, take a cab and hit Junkanoo beach for the fried fish and definetly go see my girls at Angel Sanctuary for a beach front massage. In a nut shell, We like to travel and the Atlantis is beautiful, We really enjoyed it! So don't listen to the hype, and please put your earphones in when the blowholes start spewing crap 😎 Boca Joe Real Estate (561) 702-9161 and now, travel critique lol Read less

Only disturbing thing was noise of drill during the day because of repair going on which we were not told about. Service, food and all facilities were good. Staff was responsive. Rooms are good and well maintained.
