The lively Accra Beach Hotel & Spa is located on one of the most popular beaches and is perfectly positioned to explore ‘The Boardwalk’, an ideal post-dinner stroll. The central pool has a sunken bar, plus there’s a hidden cave and shallow bank that kids love. There are four restaurants on-site, beach bars and restaurants on your doorstep and the St Lawrence Gap nightlife area is a 5-minute taxi ride away. Special nights feature live jazz, barbecues and even fire-eating.

On beautiful Rockley Beach, on the south coast. 10 minutes to Bridgetown. 5 minutes to St Lawrence Gap. Transfer time from airport: 20 minutes.

221 rooms. All with air-conditioning, ceiling fan, cable/satellite TV, complimentary WiFi access, telephone, coffee percolator, fridge, kettle, safe, iron and board, shower and hairdryer. Island View Rooms are in both wings, those in the newer wing do not have a balcony, those in the original wing have a balcony and face onto the road. Rooms have 1 king-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults, or 2 adults and 1 child. Wheelchair accessible Standard Island Room with roll-in shower - limited space next to the toilet.

All Inclusive option: is available at a supplement.

Breakfast option: includes daily buffet breakfast at Coco Patch Restaurant.

Half Board/Full Board options: include breakfast and dinner, or breakfast lunch and dinner. Both available at an additional supplement.

Pool View Rooms are in the original wing and tend to be quieter than the Island View Rooms with the same facilities but overlook the pool, with 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Ocean View Rooms also in the original wing, with wonderful views of the sea and gardens, with 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults, or 2 adults and 1 child. Wheelchair accessible Ocean View Room with roll-in shower - limited space next to the toilet.

Junior Suites in the original wing, consist of 1 large room with an additional seating area and island view, with 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds and a sleeper sofa, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Ocean Front Rooms are located in the original wing and have a Jacuzzi on the balcony and sea views, with 1 king-size bed and a sleeper sofa or 1 double bed and a sleeper sofa, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

Deluxe Ocean View Suites are located in the new wing and have indoor Jacuzzi, and balcony with sea views, with 1 king-size bed and a sleeper sofa, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Pool View Suites have two full bathrooms, private balcony with Jacuzzi and pool views, master bedroom with 1 king-size bed, second bedroom with twin beds and living room with sleeper sofa, sleeping maximum 4 adults and 2 children.

Oceanview Penthouse 1-Bedroom Suites are split-level suites with bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and skylight, mini-bar, balcony with ocean views, with 1 king-size bed and sleeper sofa, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

Junior Suite Deluxe have living area with mini-bar, balcony with ocean views, with 1 king-size bed and sleeper sofa, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

State Rooms have spacious living room, mini-bar, Jacuzzi tub, large balcony with ocean views, master bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

2-Bedroom Oceanfront Suites have wrap-around balcony with ocean views, spacious living room with mini-bar, Jacuzzi tub, master bedroom with 1 king-size bed and ensuite bathroom and second bedroom with 1-king size bed and ensuite bathroom, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

4 restaurants: The Accra Deck restaurant (seafront fine dining serving local and contemporary European cuisine, open for dinner 5 nights a week), Coco Patch Restaurant (Caribbean and International cuisine, open for breakfast and lunch), The Fig Tree Restaurant (BBQ dinner on Thursday nights and Curry & Kebab dinner on Tuesday nights) Pacifika Restaurant (Pacific Rim cuisine, open for dinner 5 nights a week). 3 bars: The Sand Bar Lounge and the Sunset Bar for evening cocktails and the Lagoon Bar for poolside drinks.

Different events 5 nights a week, from an open-air barbecue with live band and floor show, to the manager's cocktail party with steel pan and karaoke.

The hotel was unable to offer the promotion at that time and after some discussion, we chose to leave and eat elsewhere. I wrote to the hotel to express our disappointment at the turn of events. The manager, Suresh was very responsive and explained that there had been problems in getting the promotion scheme owners to keep the site updated. We were offered a meal on the house as a gesture of goodwill, which we accepted. Our return visit was a pleasant affair and with good memories and customer perception restored. Read less

Forced to stay in this hotel as Everyone has to when you go to Barbados. We was told we had to eat the buffet breakfast and not of the menu. They charged us $65 each for eating from the buffet. We have eggs toast and pancakes. They have a menu on line with three different prices from $30 to $45, nothing or nowhere saying it is $65 each. I… Read more

This was another excellent stay at Accra beach hotel the food and staff were great we had a 2 bed ocean front suit recently renovated and they were updating other rooms while we were there . The manager was always on hand to help . We are regular visitors to the island and have stayed in many hotels here but keep returning to Accra as the location if you want south coast is great and the children love the pool . Arrived yesterday with family abs one toddler of age 2 after 9 hours flight form London. Was dying for shower but NO HOT WATER in shower. Showered in cold water and toddler . The rooms had problems first room we had to move from as they couldn't get a key to work, 2nd room had a problem with the sink then they wanted to fob us of with a room facing the street when we paid for beach view.
