We really enjoyed our trip to this resort, it does need upgrading and they seem to be working on some units, it was clean and comfortable, kitchen and bathroom were complete. When we needed assistance the staff was very nice and polite and responded in a timely matter. If you want a quieter smaller resort this is it. We relaxed and enjoyed our time here and will go back. It is far from the beach and other amenities such as grocery and only has an Indian restaurant on site. We had a rental car and were ok but if you don t could be expensive to go places. Did not see any resort activities witch we didn t mind. Read less

This is fustrating as all the shops in the area close around 9pm too. 2- no mention of deposit at time of booking. This should be made very clear as it came as a total surprise. Read less

My partner and I stayed here in April this year, overall it was a good experience however I do have a few pointers that may help others looking to visit this hotel. On arrival a deposit of 150 us dollars is required as a refundable security deposit, before booking I did not know this so best to take some extra money. The money can be used as a tab for the bar or restaurant at the hotel or refunded upon checkout. The rooms are to a minimal standard not much to expect for a 3 star property, air con only works in the bedroom and I believe you would need to pay If you wanted to use it in the living room. The room lighting looked dark and dim all day. The room was cleaned twice during our 6 night stay which is acceptable as it was done to a good standard. The mini kitchen was stocked with plates, glasses and cutlery but we never cooked in there just used the fridge which was clean. Only 2 out of 4 stoves were working and 1 tap out of 2. There are a few local cafes which are walking distance but they close as early as 3pm, unfortunately for us we experienced 2 bank holidays which meant everything was closed! Even the hotel’s restaurant, we had to walk to the nearest burger king on these days which was about 15 minutes’ walk. I must admit It is quite deserted around the hotel and by night everything nearby was closed. We ate at the hotel’s Indian restaurant and I can honestly say the food was delicious but expensive our small meal cost £60 GBP! In general Barbados is an expensive island so please prepare yourself a standard brunch meal for 2 people can easily cost up to £40 GBP. The hotel staff were friendly but there was something missing, I think it was the small things that they could have done to improve guest experience for example, one evening around 10pm my husband went to the bar to buy bottled water as we had run out and he is only able to drink bottled water due to an illness. The bar attendant said the tills had closed down and there’s nothing she could do and apparently the restaurant tills were also closed. My husband even suggested putting this on our room tab and he would have paid the next morning but she said sorry there’s nothing she can do. Bearing in mind all local shops have closed and the nearest place to buy water would have been at a food chain roughly 15 minutes’ walk it was around 30 degrees hot and he was really thirsty also the hotel do not provide complimentary bottled water in the room. This was disheartening because a hotel as big as All Seasons could not even offer a bottle of water to their guest it’s not like they had ran out of water it was merely because their tills had closed which to me is the pettiest excuse in the world. After experiencing this I must admit sadly we will never be returning to stay here, a bit of advice to the hotel staff, going that tiny mile extra to help your guests won’t hurt the success of this hotel it’s the small things that you do that makes someone’s holiday go from good to great. Spacious cottage, very small kitchen that needs replenishing of cooking utensils, pots pans etc. Staff generally pleasant. Wifi is poor at times and TV goes off a lot as signal goes. Pool view cottages have much better view than the Garden Cottages. Pool area nice but not everyone stays which is a shame. Bar closes at 10pm very quiet area.

This is a budget hotel but is certainly not somewhere you would consider yourself roughing it. The premises is spacious with 48 cottages spread across the grounds, some around the pool area and other in the wider gardens. Yes the fittings are a little dated and there is a refurbishment programme in progress but you get space, self catering facilities and use of a pool, bar and restaurant. Our cottage was in the pool area. Maid service was offered every day and pool towels were provided. There were plenty of sun beds both around the pool and in the grounds and also a couple of hammocks. The bar serves drinks at happy hour prices until 6pm and is reasonably priced. They make a lovely run punch! We ate once at the restaurant, Asian Pice. Food and service were excellent. The staff were very efficient and pleasant especially Cheryl in reception and Audy who looked after the grounds. Our 2 small issues, a leaky shower and forgetting our safe combination were dealt with speedily. In terms of location the hotel is located at 5 mins walk from the nearest beach from which you pick up a board walk which takes you into the main Holetown beach area. The supermarket is a good 10 mins walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday which cost a fraction of what it would have done in an all inclusive hotel. We ate out several times but it was great to have the flexibility of being able to cook ourselves too. Our only negative feedback is the size of the kitchen. Read less
