Must admit I was a bit worried after reading some reviews. However was surprised when we arrived. Yes the hotel is tired but its clean. As someone said before its 3 star and Barbados for the working class person. Very friendly place. Samantha and her staff in the restaurant worked very hard. Food was ok ,could do with more fruit and veg but there was plenty to eat.Drinks at the bar were good with a number of cocktails . We visited the Al a Carte restaurant which was lovely, food was plentiful. The beach is first class. Rooms are big and cleaned daily with fresh towels daily. Bottles of water daily but the water is safe to drink from the tap. Kettle, Fridge, TV and hairdryer in the room.⁰ The hotel is a bit out of the way and about a 20/25 min walk into Oistin or St Lawrence gap the other way We hired a car through the hotel, which was worth it to see the island. Going to Peebles beach to see the race horses is a must early start but worth it. There is a small shop in the hotel should you need snacks , etc We plan to return in the future :) Read less

They also do an a la carte option a couple of nights a week, you need to book this Bar staff great, Especially Gabriel who was amused to learn all the names of the birds flying around the complex There was a fab choice of drinks . Hotel is spotless , rooms are very clean , services daily and very spacious and comfortable. Every staff member was helpful and friendly . Our aircon went a bit divvy and the Manager himself came and sorted it out ..class. If you want sandals style, pay the top dollar but you won't get as much for your cash as here . We talked to sandals gusts on the beach and looked at us ruefully. The entertainment was good , not my bag , but it wasn't bad . I would book this place again on a heartbeat ...top top place Read less

We had read some bad reviews about this place so we were unsure what to expect so we were pleasantly surprised. Yes it is tired in some places but we had everything we could wish for. The food was nice and the situation superb. Will definitely go back.
