Coconut Court Beach Hotel

Barbados, Caribbean

The hotel

About as ‘seaside’ as you can get, the Blades family have called this sand-hugging spot home for more than four decades. And they chose a pretty perfect beach for their hotel — which is probably why hundreds of Hawksbill marine turtles call it home too. As you’re here for the beach, the Blades have made sure you’re never far from it, whether you’re lazing on the free loungers, watching moonlight movies on the sands, soaking in the seafront pool and whirlpool, sipping frozen cocktails at the beach bar, or lingering over candlelit suppers at The Deck. The beach itself is lined with beautiful trees to provide natural shelter from the Caribbean rays, so those that don't wish to worship the sun need not worry. It’s not just by the beach though — it’s also steps from South Coast Boardwalk which links you to an array of shops, restaurants and Rockley Beach. The hotel also features an open air restaurant overlooking the white sand beach. Above all else, do not forget to savour a Pirate Punch during one of the several 'happy hours' each day — a traditional Blades family recipe with a twist!

Every room enjoys a Sea front view with balcony, picturesque setting with the sound of the waves . The food here is excellent, every meal is tasty and the menu good for all tastes. The staff , Caroline, Trisha, Alison were amazing and helped put on a party for 30, beach BBQ, Steele band and music to dance the night away- a night to remember with food so varied, tasty . The owner Linda takes the effort to meet the guests and make you feel welcome. They also have Jakes restaurant across the rood- definitely worth a visit. 30 guests are leaving today with a degree of sadness but with memories which will last for ever. A place to stay without a moments hesitation. Read less

We were lucky enough to spend a month at the hotel in September this year and we really enjoyed the experience. We had a ground floor ocean view room which had spectacular views of the sea and hotel pool/sitting area. The hotel is in a magnificent location just yards from the sand and sea. Our room was very clean and well equipped, with a brilliant shower in the bathroom. We were on a room only basis, so the small kitchen area with fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave was excellent. On the occasions we ate in the hotel the food was very good and well presented. I think what really makes the hotel special is the staff who, without exception, were excellent. They all had a warm friendly smile on their face and could not have been more helpful. It was not easy for the hotel and staff due to the Covid situation, but in my view they coped very well indeed with it, despite many people constantly complaining - I think the moaners had short memories, it was no worse than back home!! All in all we had a great holiday and have already booked to return next September. Read less

The hotel was lovely, the beach was beautiful and the staff, without exception, made us very welcome. In particular, three young ladies from the restaurant were lovely. Sweet Caroline helped us quite a few times with our struggle with modern technology and Crystal looked after us so well that she is now our honoury Granddaughter. xxx And finally, the lovely blonde who sadly, her name escapes me but always found time for a quick chat during her busy schedule. We have been to Barbados a few times and this was our best holiday so far. If we are lucky enough to go back, it will definitely be to this hotel. Read less
