Barbados is always a great week away and this stay was no different - could do with some more breakfast offerings but thats totally personal as we enjoyed ourselves and the staff was so lovely. Thank you!

Tired, dated, huge (sooo many people), dirty, tiny beds, and on a super-windy beach that makes going in the water impossible. Also, the food was dismal and expensive. We lasted 24 hours before checking out and moving to a hotel up the west coast (much calmer), where we could actually swim and relax and feel like we were on vacation. It’s easy to be wowed by the pictures and reviews of this place (all the five-star reviews must be from 20 years ago), but the reality is something very different. Read less

Rooms were spacious and clean, but nothing special. We had Bay view rooms and it was very nice to look out over the water in the morning. If you are awake early enough, you can even catch a glimpse of the horses bathing at Pebble Beach. The breakfast was very good, although expensive (like everything in Barbados!). If you are awake early enough, you can even catch a glimpse of the horses bathing at Pebble Beach. The breakfast was very good, although expensive (like everything in Barbados!). We did not eat lunch or dinner at the resort. We checked out a few off property places instead. We spent two days visiting the beach and pool area at the hotel and didn't feel any reason to move to another beach. It was not overly crowded and we had no problem finding chairs at the beach or pool. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. I needed to visit a doctor while there and they were very accommodating in arranging. Read less

Expensiveness aside, we were pleasantly impressed by the island itself and the hospitality & friendliness of Barbados people and the fact that tourists can walk around the island without fear of safety. All beaches are public. We took a tour of the island offered by Westjet vacations and had an awesome time. Rooster, the driver was so funny, friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend visiting this island but be mindful of the budget because the food on the island is expensive. Read less

The hotel and the beaches were beautiful! We really enjoyed our stay. It would have been better if they had a shuttle to airport and/or local attractions, as cabs got pretty expensive for 4 of us. The breakfast was really slow, so plan on giving yourself extra time. Service and food were good!
