The hotel

Hilton Barbados Resort has a prime location on tropical peninsula Needham’s Point, giving you two fantastic beaches to enjoy. Good bits: fireworks display on beach on NYE, good breakfast room service, large room (beach view). Not so good: nobody came to help us with our bags at check out, even though our taxi was waiting and we had asked several times with 30 mins to spare. Moving six suitcases between us with two small kids was frustrating. The room was not super clean on arrival, rugs needed hoovering. The room service menu was very limited and had no kids options, and not healthy to eat twice a day for five+ days in a row. Please take into consideration that your guests might need a different offering if they are quarantining. A good selection of fruits and more veg please. Read less

Let me start with the postive points. Location is very good with large beach and pools. Housekeeping were very good. Main issue was the restaurant service especially at Breakfast which was chaotic and lacked good management and organisation. Reception wait time was long even at the best of times which was very frustrating if you wanted something simple. Sunbeds in both the quarantine and non quarantine areas were only increased once residents complained and only then with challange. The staff were friendly and helpful. To me the key issue was a lack of good management. Not up to the standards I would expect of a Hilton Resort hotel Read less

Ok so I'll start by saying we weren't staying at the Hilton but wanted to give a review anyway!! We have stayed here before and we're really impressed with The kids Club Cocktails Staff Beach/Pools and Jacuzzi👌 They have and infinity pool for guests awaiting their Covid tests with Lovely double beds to sunbathe. We are staying at the hotel next door but have popped into the Hilton for lunch which was fantastic 👌 So today the Barbados Minister made an announcement that the fireworks displays around the island were probably not happening 😢 Being out 16th year on the island, We've only sen them a couple of times as we have children who get tired 🤣 Tonight the display went but at 2200!!! Well all I can say is thank you so much because those of us with children are normally tucked up in bed 🙄 This year the children all get to see the display!! I don't think I'm alone here with kids that can't stay up until 12!!! Never mind is parents! So from the deepest of my heart, Although it wasn't your original plan, Thank you so much!! You've made a lot of family's very happy 🥰🥰🥰 Happy New Year Read less

Before we even arrived Alana at Concierge assisted me with my booking and any information I needed. Natasha front desk was great and accommodating. Mena restaurant dinner first night was attentive and always available. Judy and Waveney at breakfast was nice and Rosemary at the omelette station was great. I felt safe with the protocols in place .

Limited menu options, expensive menus and below average service. you are trapped to ordering room service for dinner during quarantine. I needed water after 10pm and I was told by an unemphatetic customer service rep that everything is closed and I should drink tap water...
