A frequent response to a request to get something for us was ‘well I’d have to go and get that’ which made us reluctant to make other requests. The charges for the safe was unusual - we paid for this but thought given the cost we paid this should have been included. The receptionists were helpful but also just didn’t seem happy at all other than Jenny. Overall, the pros outweighed the cons but I think customer service training would go a mile here. Read less

The sea turtles were seen daily in the sea, and i will never get over how special this is. Additionally we were very lucky to see this year turtle hatchlings and turtles laying eggs….. hopefully you’ll be as lucky as we were. The hotel is extremely clean and i find the staff very helpful.. One thing i want to remind people is that Bajan customer service is at a different pace to that used to within the UK - this does not mean its not as good but people need to appreciate the difference in pace. This is consistent with everything on the island….. just go with it… and don’t get stressed! The food within the restaurant is excellent. We had the all day menu in the evening a few days. For breakfast i would definitely order off the menu rather than the buffet - i think its more cost effective! The muffins at 4pm are also delightful! We hope yo be back soon! Read less

Everyone we met at the hotel had been there before several times. It is the kind of place that you return to over and over again. They had Zumba in the pool, they lend out snorkels, there was dancing to live music several nights a week and a steel drum band playing several times, all right by the pool. I can't say stay here enough! Read less

Just returned from this lovely hotel- the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Just returned from this lovely hotel- the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. There were plenty of chairs or sun beds that could be easily moved to either pool, beach or any other area of the hotel. We loved the complimentary high tea each day, served at 4pm. We also loved the steel band and other low key entertainment. The hotel manager was visible and invited us all to the ‘Managers rum party’ where she took time to speak with all guests. At the party we mentioned we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and she sent a bottle of Prosecco and glasses to our room! Rooms were very clean- we stayed in an ocean view room which was well worth upgrading to. Waking up and hearing the sea was wonderful. There are many turtles swimming in the sea- swimming with them daily is something we will never forget! The hotel has many bats and restaurants and a couple on mini markets close- we used these to buy lunch and snacks. Food in the hotel was good, although the full buffet breakfast was overpriced. There were plenty of other breakfast options to choose which were more reasonable. Overall, the hotel was amazing and we would love to return. Read less
