Just back from a 10 night stay and it was fabulous from start to finish. A small, boutique hotel with Boho vibes. Located on a lovely quiet beach with plenty of loungers. We were greeted with a warm welcome when we arrived and shown to our room which was spacious and spotless. The food on offer daily at The Reef restaurant was delicious and caters for all tastes. We also tried the steak house on site and Collins beach bar and the food was faultless. We took advantage of the snorkels and we’re amazed how many fish are in the secluded bay. The hotel it’s self is in a great spot. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful when we asked what sights would be good to visit. The staff are an absolute credit to Sugar Bay Hotel. Special mention to Nicolai on reception, Kay In the restaurant, Ryan the chef and Jaymaine In water sports you guys made our trip! The only downside is we didn’t get to use the pool mainly because of the selfish people who put towels on loungers and don’t appear for hours Later, there are signs to warn this is not allowed. There was however plenty of space and shade on the beach. We will definitely visit again! Read less

Sugar Bay was fantastic the beach was Crystal clear and with beautiful sand, great snorkelling and paddle boarding supported by the great Romero who was patient knowledgeable and most of all observant and responsive. The restaurants and bars were faultless and Eirleen was a credit to them organised, observant and quick to sort anything you wanted or needed. Shakira and Kay were amazing and could not have been more helpful remembering even the smallest detail of your likes and dislikes. Good food across all the options and it was fresh and tasty. Looking at the rooms the choices were great from well equipped suites to small friendly beach front to poolside or quieter ones for those with babies and small children or those just looking to get away The options for later checkouts or just using an empty room in a courtesy basis have something for everyone. Let's talk cleanliness.....all the rooms communal areas toilets had a spa smell which was peppermint and wonderful. Entertainments varied but all were great with something for everyone. Overall great Read less

The beach was as pictured, so lovely and plenty of sun beds so no need to get up super early to get one. The water sports lads were a great laugh, plenty of snorkelling! It’s flat enough to paddle board most of the time. Always had a delicious cocktail (and made some tasty mocktails) the hotel can organise trips out too which is great and there is lots on offer. The rooms were clean with a kingsize bed and there is entertainment on every night. It’s a short walk to shops or resultants. If you like horses 10000% recommend getting up around 5:30 and do the 10 minutes walk to pebbles beach to watch the racehorses in the sea (that’s around 6:00am) Don’t hesitate and book now!!
