It is a little piece of heaven. During the last few days of our stay, prior to the hotel closing for renovations, we were treated so well and made to feel so special. Thank you Tracia and all the staff. We will see you all again in 2020. Read less

Check in quick and smooth and then off to the room. We were allocated the same room as our previous trip (thank you Tracia), No 115 down the hill overlooking the gully and nice and quiet. A bottle of fizz awaited us as returnees and we soon settled in. Not much change since our last visit same excellent food and service. Didn't do the gully walk, glass bottomed boat or visit the beach although we heard good reports of them. We did take the shuttle in to Speightstown to visit the supermarket and have a beer at Fishermans. On my birthday I received a lovely plate of cakes from the management. The only problem we encountered was at dinner on my birthday when there was a bit of a hccup with service, very unusual. Junior Cox was manager that night and he really did his best to rectify things. Didn't think any more about it until the next night we had a phone call from Tracia offering us a private dinner in the Spa Gazebo to apologise. So we had a lovely meal with an excellent bottle of wine included served by Junior Cox who also decorated the table with flowers and birthday greetings. Great customer relations. Overall another great relaxing holiday. Look forward to staying here again. Read less

Everything that can be said I'm sure has been fully explored by so many so my review is simply a confirmation that SCR really is as special as you could imagine. Most of us work really hard during the year and we book a holiday hoping that we've got it right, we plan, save, shop and dream......well at SCR your dream should come true if you are looking for peace and quiet, lovely climate, gorgeous surroundings, spacious comfortable rooms, excellent choice of food and drinks all within your "all inclusive" lastly and most importantly, professional and extremely dedicated staff to take care of your needs. You read over the internet about holiday resorts in Barbados treating you like family and maybe you would think that its a little exaggerated but, at SCR it really happens, they do remember you and make you feel so welcome even to the point of when you have to tear yourself away and return home the staff on reception come out and wave you off, are they doing that because they are glad to see the back of you lol....no, they are so nice and want you to feel special right up to the end of your holiday. There are so many staff who are special you cant single them out, they are expertly led by Tracia, the manager, who in our opinion is the perfect "host". She is very hands on and you will see her talking to each and everyone of her guests on a regular basis. Should you have an occasion to speak to her about something that's bothering you, you will have her full attention....she will do whatever it takes to rectify any issue you feel you need to flag up. We all know some people will complain about absolutely anything and you can get that anywhere, all I would say to them is chill out, enjoy your fabulous surroundings or check out and pay a lot more money for a lot less service!! I understand that they are increasing the number of rooms at the resort, note to owner, please don't expand too much as the size of hotel as the amount of rooms is an integral part of SCR's success story and keeps your regulars returning year after year. We will be spending our third year at our "second home" and are counting down the days. Thanks Tracia and team we are really looking forward to seeing you all soon for our two week share of heaven.....x Read less
