The warm Barbados climate is matched by the warmth of it's people and the staff at Tamarind are no exception. Either is an absolute star at breakfast and instantly puts a smile on your face most mornings. (What she cant do with an egg is not worth doing) They work some very long hours in some very trying conditions but in the main get through it all with a smile. The food is to a very good standard. The wine on AI could do with a tweak but are much better than most AI resorts I have been to. The waterspouts team are fantastic and are happy to help novices and professionals alike when to comes to things such as sailing and water skiing. If you want to go snorklling with tropical fish and turtles then Slick Ricks is the man who will take you out and guarantee swimming with the creatures of Caribbean Sea. This is not part of the hotel package but comes at an extra cost of 100BB$ for two hours which included as much beer and rum punch as you want, (if you are not going back in the water) snorkelling equipment and tuition. These can be booked with Rod aka "Man under the Hat" on the beach. Many visitors were repeating their experience and some have been coming for years. The hotel is not the cheapest but as a result you get to meet some lovely people. Read less

You really can’t fault this hotel, all inclusive package early good value. Food really good mainly ala carte, inclusive water sports, gear beach, several pools. Rooms a little dated but the view/position can not be beaten. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Will be re booking very soon

Perfect on every level. From arriving to, unfortunately leaving, it couldn't have been better. Maybe it was the weather, the scenery, the company or everything together. I couldn't recommend this place enough. Thank you
