If you’re okay with that type of service then this is the place for you. We’ve been to other all inclusive resorts where people engage with you. Here, you need a towel and have to ask several times for a worker to find one for you as he or she is just standing on the side. Breakfast was okay. Waited a while for tea or coffee. Same thing- no one approaches the table to ask if you need anything. Ethel is amazing! People should take a page from her book! Trying to do so many jobs at once- and does it with a smile. She was the only employee that engaged with us. Way to go, Ethel! Rooms are nice Read less

We returned to the Tamarind and were not disappointed. The setting is tranquil; terracotta tiled walkways through lovely gardens along a long stretch of beautiful beach offering lots of space. There is great snorkelling from the beach, a raft to swim to and a variety of watersports - you just need to make sure you get your name down for activities involving the speedboat. There is lots of variety on offer for breakfast and friendly staff. We had a good view from our top floor room, which was clean and spacious with a comfy bed. The hotel is popular with families, but does not bother us. a lovely place! It is good to have a car and get out and see what the beautiful island of Barbados has to offer. Read less
