I booked this hotel for my honeymoon and it was the absolute WORST experience I ever had. This was supposed to be the best night of my life with my husband. Upon arrival we weren't even offered a welcome drink, staff members in the room next door were keeping ALOT of noise and this woke us up from resting! My husband called the room next door to inform them of their noise level and the person that answered the phone answered sarcastically and continued to keep more noise. At this point we lodged a complaint to front desk and made them aware of the ongoing disturbance and also that we weren't even offered a welcome drink! Front desk then gave us the welcome drink the night before we were to leave and said it would be resolved in the morning. The resolution for this hotel was to give us a buffet sunday lunch! This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at any hotel and what makes it worse is that it was our honeymoon and it was an experience I would NEVER forget! Read less

Review of the restaurant. I know 9 PM is “late night” dining in Barbados, but I came in after a long and exhausting day to get dinner. I heard they had good sushi. When I arrived, staff looked at their watches and reluctantly seated me. Turns out, they were open for another hour. They tried to seat me near a large party in an almost empty restaurant so I asked to be seated further away for COVID safety. The waiter was helpful. But as I looked around, I realized all the windows in the place (it has two walls of windows) were shut and most staff and the party of 20+ people were maskless. It didn’t feel safe eating in there, even though I’m vaccinated. But by this time, I’d ordered. It took another 50 minutes to get what was very mediocre and overpriced food. I asked three times if I could pay—I was tired of waiting in a place where COVID could easily spread. When I got home, I found a flavorless seasonal fruit plate lacking in local fruit, sprinkled with parsley and a flavorless egg, cheese, and cucumber sandwich with flavorless tomatoes that were likely dyed red. The pumpkin soup was good, but eating it in the restaurant was not exactly comforting, given their lack of meaningful safety precautions. (COVID is airborne, spreads beyond 6 feet, needs fresh air to dilute transmission risk or HEPA air cleaners—the restaurant had neither, but asked people to sanitize their hands—hands aren’t a source of COVID transmission). $64 BDS for a small bottle of sparkling water, pumpkin soup, terrible fruit plate, and a flavorless sandwich. If you like flavorful food, timely service, or Covid safety, avoid. Read less

We ordered a burger and fish sandwich for curbside pickup on March 16th. The service was excellent! Our meal was delivered by a pleasant chap Neil. The food was fantastic. I have never been inside but it looks like a fantastic place to dine. Will definitely place more orders and looking forward to being able to dine at the restaurant.
