Cannot recommend enough, it was sublime. The rooms were large and spacious with great air conditioning. The bar had fantastic cocktails and the bartenders were so good at catering - the little things like remembering your drink order and names. Location was right on a beautiful beach, and right next to Oistins. Book a stay at this fantastic hotel and you won’t be disappointed! Read less

1 Hotel Vacation stay: Two weeks Based on the hotel description, this is a 4 star All Inclusive hotel. It is neither of these things, and quite frankly, I am feeling deceived. It is like no other "all-inclusive" we have ever been to, and I've seen more amenities at the Best Western. ¹Hotel We arrived rather late at 2 a.m., so we were not able to really get a view of the hotel. Check-in was fast with no wait. In the morning, I awoke to no AC and a roach in the restroom. I informed the front desk, and they said they would send someone up. Maintenance handled the AC issue quickly, and housekeeping arrived with, much to my surprise, a can of bug spray. We have been to other Caribbean resorts in the past, and they have had regular exterminations scheduled. This leads me to the next thing.... the hotel itself. At first glance, it looks like a chic boutique hotel and is, in fact, not old. Upon closer review, it is extremely worn and not in good shape at all. Most of the rooms do not overlook the beach, and the water is across the street. Notice I said water... not beach....The water in front of the hotel is actually on a small cliff face with no beach. To reach a beach you have to go down the street. That beach is the beginning of Enterprise beach and is quite rough but beautiful. The hotel itself is in a residential area with the 4ft pool area overlooking the street, then water across the way. Besides the passing cars, overhead planes (hotel must be on the flight path), chickens and bug sounds it's very quiet. Far away from any nightlife. Our room overlooks other homes, and the chickens crowing woke me up the first morning. The windows on either end of the hallways have open air gaps. This allows for humid, non air-conditioned hallways and open access for critters to enter. Walking in the hallway at night, there are a variety of bugs that find their way in due to being attracted to the hallway lights. This may also explain the lack of surprise or apology to having the roach in the room. I am was extremely afraid of roaches and had a fear that more were in the room. We definitely did not have any food or open drinks in the room so as not to attract anything. This was not difficult as this all-inclusive hotel has no room service. I'll get into that later. The open air hallways also allowed the rain to come right in, wetting the carpet. This may explain the funny, humid like smell in the hallways and room. ² Housekeeping and hotel amenities. " Upon arrival, the first day, there were no face towels as the hotel "ran out." By day 4, there were also no more handtowels. The room cleaning thus far has consisted of the bed being made. When we arrived, the room had coffee, tea, and two bottles of water. The linens have not been changed since arrival, which is not a deal breaker, but with sandy floors, it does make its way into the sheets. The hotel does not have any umbrellas for guest use or beach bags as advertised. Guests do have the option of going to the sister hotel if "available" M-F with a limit of 2 times. Th2 staff are friendly and attempt to be helpful. There is no schedule of entertainment....or entertainment outside of a few board hames in the lobby and a man who played a steel drum on Sunday. We just happened to come down and see him. Unless you are going to town, after dark, they're is zero to do on this part of the island or at this hotel. ³ Dining This hotel has only one dining room and one bar. The menu apparently is mostly a la carte with breakfast, usually being buffet style, but can be a la carte as it was this morning. The menu allows for a starter, entree, and desert. Each of these has four options to choose from, and one may not order more than one of each. So if I wanted two starters, that is not a possibility. When I questioned this, the very nice waitress informed me that she would have to "ask the chef." The lunch menu is a fixed menu that changes every three days. The dinner menu rotated every day. For example, Monday was Mediterranean, and Wednesday was Indian night. Sunday night, they did have a traditional Bajan buffet with limited options. The food has actually been good and tasty. This has been the only saving grace, AND after 5 days, the same food with different spice variations gets boring. For example, one of the three desert options is always seasonal fruit found also on the breakfast buffet, with the variation being that one day it was rum infused, and another day, it had mint added. I definitely understand food being a factor but expected more from an all-inclusive. As mentioned, there is no room service, and if you are looking for any snacks or other food outside of the designated times (breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner), you can forget about it. Not, even a bowl of fruit set out. I've been to other all inclusives where sack lunches that were available if you were going on excursions. Here... if you don't make the 2 1/2 hour dining window, you are out of luck. Drink wise, the bar does have alcohol. I do not drink, so I can not review that part. I do know that after 5 days, it ran out of any sugar-free soda options. Other drink options included water, juice tea, and coffee. These options are available presumably throughout the day from the bar until just after dinner, and then it shuts down as well. I like a late snack sometimes at night or during the day but have to purchase food elsewhere if I want that. I have not, however, due to being afraid of the bug situation. Overall, Im extremely disappointed to have spent this amount of money for this experience, and we are only in day 5. Read less

What a nice place. Food was great. Leo and this team definitely know what they are doing in the kitchen. Everything we ate was of high quality, well presented and delightful. As locals we were pleased to be served and made to feel extra special by Neil, Julius, Ishaka and Ebony. Point to note is that the staff need to upsell the premium brands that you pay a supplement for. Rather than just giving only the house brands. My husband only drinks 2 kinds of whiskey and could not enjoy any liquor except the poor quality wine and amaretto sours I made him enjoy with me. It was only after lunch on our very last day that we found out there was indeed one of the brands he likes. We would have easily paid for those shots during out stay if we were given the option. The room was, as others said, spacious and comfortable. The added touch of the jacuzzi on the balcony makes this property unique. Housekeeping did a great job of keeping it clean and well stocked. Strangely, during the night, the bedside lamps and the light in the ceiling fan would continually have a low glow though they were turned off. When we stayed there was little to no service beachside or poolside. Not sure of it was a challenge for that particular period, but it would have been nice to not have to dry up a bit and throw on a wrap to walk back to the bar to get something refreshing. Overall it's a great place and we hope to visit again. Read less
