The Rockley by Ocean Hotels

We stayed here after a week cruise. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Their customer service is outstanding and I will forever be grateful for their “genuine kindness!” The rooms are spacious, clean and equipped with everything you may need. Located just a stones throw away from the beautiful sandy beach, where you can make full use of the sun beds and umbrellas (when given a token at the hotel reception). Plenty of choice at the breakfast buffet and a great selection of drinks at the bar. They also have a bar menu if you’re feeling peckish. Should you wish to travel, you can find taxis and plenty of busses just outside the hotel (the busses are a fun experience) There are plenty of restaurants, take aways, bars and shops within walking distance. Should it be required, there’s a very helpful pharmacist just a minute or two walk away from the hotel. All in all, this is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in, with the best staff. Just returned from a cruise and stay had a week in this hotel .Really nice room with balcony overlooking pool and sea veiw.Rooms excellent comfy bed tv wifi and good cooking facilities if needed.Nice bar area for a couple of drinks before going out for meals as hotel only does breakfast. The Rockley meet all of our expectations and more! Newly renovated (Previously called the South Beach Hotel) has a Boutique/chic beautiful space which you feel as soon as you walk up the steps to be met with an amazing pool/lounge/bar area. Troy (the best) met us at the doors helping with our bags, offering a refreshing drink as we checked into our 10 day stay. All staff are amazing (we loved them all but special mention to Ingrid, Troy and Tarina) they are always offering to help in assist with helping to organize you if bussing (if going out for an adventure) exchanging $$ or just asking how your day is. Someone is constantly cleaning to keep the appearance of cleanleniss… it was impeccable. We loved our room - it was modernly decorated with Beautiful bright colors and was perfectly clean. We immediately felt at “home”. The small kitchenette and pantry area were perfect. We took full advantage of everything the hotel offered - the hot buffet breakfasts are delicious with many options (eggs, bacon or ham, baked beans, potatoes, friend plantain’s, fresh fruit, yogurts, fresh bread, loaves and cereals) The fitness room is basic but all you need on vacation and we loved using it every day. And 3 times a day happy hours are a bonus to grabs quick adult drink! They also offered fun daily/evening activities around the pool/bar area, which too should totally take advantage of! Right across the street is the amazing Rockley beach and during our stay they provided fresh clean beach towels and a card to take over where they had 20 umbrellas and 2 loungers (per umbrella) secured for guests! The guys working the beach huts/beverage stands were great, offered you service but not pushy and very nice. We took advantage every day of running/walking the boardwalk attached to the right side of the beach… it has beautiful views to watch as you use it (side note - a number of sections are covered with sand so it makes for a really great calve work out 😂) We 100% would recommend a visit. Already planning to go back! Note - if traveling with small children the street to cross to the beach is very busy (there is a cross walk to the left of the hotel about 100 ft up) Read less
