The hotel

This chic hotel is reputed to have some of the friendliest staff on the island! It's also located across the road from St. Lawrence Bay where the waters are exceptionally shallow at low tide — enabling you to safely walk miles into the ocean (you might see some turtles along the way!). There’s a lovely restaurant on-site or you can head round the corner to the centre of St. Lawrence Gap for some lively nightlife. Refurbished studio rooms have large balconies offering stunning views, a kitchenette and complimentary WiFi.

Lovely hotel right on the perfect setting overlooking the bay at the top of The Gap. First time to Barbados and we will defo be returning. The hotel is in St Lawrence gap, and it was a spot where we found plenty of places nearby to eat, as cheap or expensive as we liked, all with varying ambience to suit us. Also, getting around was easy, just hopping onto the busses which ran frequently. The stay here was made special by the service we received, from every single staff member at the hotel that we came into contact with. Room service was excellent, the room was attended to daily, if we weren’t ready, they’d return later. Kelly and Michelle and the other receptionists were friendly, attentive and efficient, a special shout out to Michelle who I think was a mind reader, she was so observant. The staff were able to offer information on activities we asked about and organise transport if needed. The Resturant on the bay served tasty meals during the day. Cheryl-Ann who managed the restaurant, provided a personal touch and she was very present, with a wonderful vibrant personality. Our anniversary day wasn’t overlooked as we returned to our room to find a bottle of Prosecco and balloons on our bed, which was such a sweet touch. We are looking forward to staying again. Read less

Everything was perfect! It was our birthdays and the staff had put balloons and wine in both rooms overlooking the ocean. The staff are all so amazing, especially Michelle on reception who went above and beyond to organise trips for us and Cheryl-Ann in the restaurant where we enjoyed a fabulous breakfast every morning and even brought it up to the room when the kids couldn't rise early enough lol!! Always greeting us with a magical smile! We have all fallen in love with beautiful Barbados and will definitely be back. Sending lots of love The George family (room 402 and 205) Read less
