The small, intimate, Grand Decameron Montego Beach, A Trademark All-Inclusive offers basic but comfortable accommodation, with the low rise resort boasting stunning ocean views. Staff are friendly and attentive, and take advantage of some of the daily and evening activities on offer to keep you entertained. One pool is shaded for those seeking a respite from the sun, or head to the beach to soak up some rays and enjoy the sea breeze. The hotel's located at the beginning of the 'Hip Strip', so there are shops, bars and markets within easy reach.

On the beach in Montego Bay, amongst a range of nightlife options and casinos, and 5-miles from several golf courses. Transfer time from Montego Bay Airport: 10 minutes.

Hotel information

144 rooms. All with balcony/terrace, air-conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, safe* (approximately USD 2 per day), iron and ironing board, WiFi access*, bathroom amenities, and hairdryer. Ocean View Rooms with 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (up to 12 years of age). All have full or partial ocean views.

All Inclusive of: all meals and drinks by the glass. Midday and midnight snacks. Non-motorised water sports (kayak, sailboat and water bicycle trips).

Passa Passa (a buffet-style restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner), Souk Restaurant (open in the evenings, serving an à la carte fusion of Jamaican cuisine). The Baba Roots lobby bar, Zion beach bar and Glitter Disco Bar. Midday and midnight snacks.

Daily entertainment and nightly shows.

This hotel is the worst ... don't waste your money and visit. They spend more time arguing with the guest and also gossiping and laughing at you instead of focusing on things to improve service delivery: 1. Black looking bath towels in the rooms 2. Staff sweating while preparing your drink. 5.Torn and outdated beach towels 6.limited food options The security supervisors in Grey harassing guest asking them to leave "his property " when they get intoxicated ( saw a bartender serving rum and Coke in a Grey water bottle to 1 ) This place needs a serious leadership asap. Note: I don't need a response from the guest service manager, she sits there encouraging disparaging remarks and laugh when guest makes a complain and leave the desk. No hot water in the shower no towels in the room no bath mat and the housekeeper was rude my husband was so upset because why I book I specifically tell them it was for honeymoon. I was expecting to be treated better knowing that I stated that it was for my honeymoon.

Room wasnt very clean the walls were dripping witn water above the bed even on the floor the bathroom barely cleaned we got rags that were torn and dirty looking the ladies that clean the room are doing a very poor job even cob web is found on the bedhead🤮 need to do better with cleaning the rooms and bathrooms

On arrival we stood behind another couple who were getting checked in which took a good 30 mins, then when it came to our turn a further 20 mins to be checked in, we finally got our room and got taken to it by the porter, on opening the door we were hit be an awful damp/moldy smell, the room was in terrible disrepair, mold on curtains and cushions, we complained and got moved to another room which was a little better but not by much,broken shower head,broken air con flap so had to wedge it open with a cotton bud, broken balcony door, broken toilet seat the list goes on,food in the resturant was terrible,ackee and saltfish but with soo many bones in it we dare not have any,most of the staff were rude, we would ask for things like a spoon to stir our coffee only to get the eye rolling or tutting as if we were in the wrong for asking for the basics, it seemed unless you tipped them then you got treated like dirt.i went to one of the bars and asked for water only to have 2 of the staff say...he must have lived in england for so long he forget him patios...the crazy thing is the same person who made the comment then got on the mic and spoke perfect english to the guests. we wanted to venture outside the resort so walked towards the gates only to be stopped by a female taxi driver asking if we wanted a taxi, she told us it would be 40 usd to drive just over a mile up the road, we politely declined and she responded... you should be supporting local people. I am a business owner and i can honestly say that hotel needs alot of money spent on it and staff need retraining, its their job to give the guest the best experience so that guest then goes away feeling like he/she had the time of their life and want to return... instead you now have 2 people who would not return and would not advise their friends or family to visit.
