The small, intimate, Grand Decameron Montego Beach, A Trademark All-Inclusive offers basic but comfortable accommodation, with the low rise resort boasting stunning ocean views. Staff are friendly and attentive, and take advantage of some of the daily and evening activities on offer to keep you entertained. One pool is shaded for those seeking a respite from the sun, or head to the neighbouring beach at Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach to soak up some rays and enjoy the sea breeze. The hotel's located at the beginning of the 'Hip Strip', so there are shops, bars and markets within easy reach.

On the beach in Montego Bay, amongst a range of nightlife options and casinos, and 5-miles from several golf courses. Transfer time from Montego Bay Airport: 10 minutes.

Hotel information

144 rooms. All with balcony/terrace, air-conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, safe* (approximately USD 2 per day), iron and ironing board, WiFi access*, bathroom amenities, and hairdryer. Ocean View Rooms with 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (up to 12 years of age). All have full or partial ocean views.

All Inclusive of: all meals and drinks by the glass. Midday and midnight snacks. Non-motorised water sports (kayak, sailboat and water bicycle trips).

Passa Passa (a buffet-style restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner), Souk Restaurant (open in the evenings, serving an à la carte fusion of Jamaican cuisine). The Baba Roots lobby bar, Zion beach bar and Glitter Disco Bar. Midday and midnight snacks.

Daily entertainment and nightly shows.

2 swimming pools. Gym. Sauna and Jacuzzi area, located on the beach. A massage therapist offers massages* by the Jacuzzi at an extra charge. Water sports including kayaks and sailboats. Tennis court. Beach volleyball and basketball. Access to neighbouring beach at Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach.

Special shoutout to Zoe for amazing energy & entertainment every night! Jason the bartenders energy made it easy to relax and have fun! Another special shoutout to Jeraleo with maintenance & once again Jason the bartender who went above and beyond when my sister got hurt stayed by our sides and everyday kept asking if she was okay! I have never seen anything so horrible, dirty and fillthy in my life. The hotel is so so so so sos nasty and dirty I could not believe it omg. Check-in was this huge tast it was unbelivable. We got to the hotel about 3:30 PM, We did not get checked intill 4:50 PM, we had waited for so long we wanted to get a snack while waiting because we started getting hungry, they only had wings and some fries available at that time, and yoi can literally taste that the ffod was frozen food. Back to the hotel its self........ As we were heading to the room, house keeping were just leaving the room so my thinking is that "oh nice freshly clean" but guess what, I am still in shock to this day but am so glad I took pictures of what I had seen because you would never believe me if I told you. The room it self was so dusty and moldy, had this smell of old wood and mold. Immediately left the room with our luggage and went back downstairs to the reception, funny enough the manager was so interested to see the pictures first. Her initial response was "Can I see the pictures that you took" And am telling her like I paid all this money and am telling you the room is in unlivable condition and you are so worried about the pictures I took, it was not even like ok, let me see what I can do or maybe let me go see the room my self but NO, she kept pushing to see the pictures and send them to her email. Such a horrible experience we had to find another hotel that same evening at this time it was already 6 going 7 PM. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY, NOT WORTH IT Read less

Just returned from the Montego side. All of the negative review had me very worried. However We loved it! Yes it is an older resort that needs some TLC, yes you may have late housekeepers and late towels, but why let that ruin your trip? The staff was amazingly nice, Charmaine from guest relations is phenomenal and tries to accommodate your needs. The food I felt like had limited options, but what they did have was very good. The drinks were plentiful, the entertainment was Great. The place is clean and comfortable. I would definitely return, I have no complaints worth typing. This place is a little piece of Heaven. Also, be prepared to not have access to drinking water regularly.. definitely a third world experience. I cried when I got back to the states from the relief of just being back in America ! Again… I went into this stay with an open mind… regardless of reading the reviews… and I don’t come from a life with a silver spoon… not a comfortable stay by any means. Read less
