I just want to say Fantastic 👌 #birthday well spent, I stayed at the resort for my birthday as well as my son on November 20th, the check in was smooth and quick. Even though it was raining that didn't hinder us from having fun, we played board games, until we were able to venture outside, the manager at the mangoes were we had lunch was great and timoy the bartender (I think that's his name) served us some good cocktails at the moonstone bar and some frozen drinks for the kids. The entire stay was not short of fun, the kids enjoyed the pool and slides and so did I lol. The entertainment around the pool was great, Chelsea won one of the games which made her happy. We had dinner reservations at the Luna, we were greeted by the lovely Miss Daviline who was so welcoming. The server ensured that my son got his nuggets and fries first so as not to get fussy, I highly recommend the spring rolls and the steak. Our overall dining experience was great. There was a lovely server from roomservice who song happy birthday for me and my son when she came to deliver our meal. The food was hot and well presented. The property was well kept, the beach was so nicely raked I didn't each want to walk on the sand to ruin it lol. My overall stay was great, my only problem was I had to leave too soon. # birthdays #family time. Will definitely do it again. Read less

Had the best trip this little getaway. Got to swim with the dolphins, and had the most amazing private couples dinner. PAULINE that server/ hostess is something amazing. Made a way out of no way to make things happen for us! She even had the most romantic music which seemed like it was just for us. We wanted our anniversary song and there was no reception, she goes in and must of downloaded the song and brought it to us. Best experience a couple can ask for. She was really awesome. The staff was attentive, everything was so clean, and the food just soooo delicious. Besides the masks, temperature checks, and the mounds of sanitizing stations everywhere, we were able to still go on excursions, golfed, went to scotchies, had a silent party in our own sections, and so much more. Such a good getaway from the madness going on in the world. Hilton Rose Hall had got it going on hands 🙌. So glad we went to Jamaica. Read less

From the moment we arrived, I felt safe and knew that the hotel took the pandemic seriously. Temp was taken upon arrival, we had to wipe off our shoes and the bellmen disinfected our luggage before bringing it in the hotel. All team members wear a face mask AND a clear face shield to ensure safety. The elevators are repeatedly wiped down and there is hand sanitizer on every floor with the instructions to use it both before and after you get off the elevator. At the buffet, if you got up for seconds, the team gently reminded you to put your mask back on when you left your table. I can't think of anything else they could have done to make me feel safe given these crazy circumstances. Service is wonderful. Everyone smiles, greets you with eye contact throughout the property and asks how your stay is. No matter what request we had, everyone quickly took care of anything we asked for without batting an eyelash. I got the impression that everyone there was grateful we were there and they made us feel welcomed. Overall the hotel is beautiful, the pool and waterpark are so much fun. The drinks are fab and always flowing. I appreciate the fact that they have done away with plastic straws and that they let you refill reusable cups to avoid paper cups. A few team members stand out for us: Aston, the server at Mangoes, Aneta (cabana server at the pool) , the entertainment team, Nataki, Alton and Ricardo were so much fun, Moses and Omarie were just two of the great servers in the buffet. Where do I start? Visited Montego Bay for a wedding, after several cancelations of flights in 4 months and one just 6, days before, this hotel was a welcome break to what's been a stressful time. The Hilton, the guys here have got customer service a guest insight pat down to a tee. The whole team especially Ian Hewin, whom I was in contact with well before we arrived was great and could not do enough to help facilitate a great stay. From you walk up to reception the welcome is courteous and friendly, your treated like a star. Book in was a formality everything seemed to be well thought off ahead and check-in took a about 5 minutes. There were 3 rooms being checked in. After check-in and the bands for the all inclusive we were taken up to our rooms by the Bell Man and shown to our individual rooms. I can honestly say that I had the best room as it was facing the resort, while overlooking the sea and mountain. My sister and our childhood friend had sea views (I find that just to tranquil). The rooms are spacious (I had my teenage twins with me and my sister had a whole command station to be utilised, more about that later). The fridge was fully stocked, the bathroom clean bed clean and comfortable. What more could one want? Wear masks everywhere except your room, when your eating or in the pool. This protects staff as well as you and just shows some decorum. If you run out of masks or forget as one does once you leave your room, you could always get one from reception. The staff were amazing and appreciated us being there at such a critical moment. The food amazing, everything fresh, and I stuck to purely jamaican dishes as they were authentic and who knows when next I would get the real deal. As a multicultural person living in Sweden I could not go all that way and have the usual breakfast or chips. It was dumplings, plantains, curry goat and the like. I inquired on my 4th day about banafriters, as I loved them from my childhood and was told that they had taken them of the menu a week or so before our visit, but the waitress said she would ask the chef when or if it would be back while we were there. To my surprise she came back and said they had no plans ofit being on the menu just yet but how manty portions do I want and that they could make them for me the next day. The chef came out personally the next day to hand them to me, heavenly. The pool was great I had it to myself at times which is great as I like to swim under water, the private beach was fantastic swam quite a few times and even had a 6am dip once. The Hilton has a fine dining restaurant, buffet service, sea food restaurant, Jerk station, beach station or restaurant and all the snack and drinks you could possibly want. Its just amazing. Entertainment was great, some real revival, old tunes, and everything in between. Table tennis, Pool hall and so much more. For drinks try the Bam bam, and if you get the recipe please let us know. That all happened in my first 3 nights, we were there for my sisters wedding, (as I said she had a command centre set up in her room). on the 4th day the party started with guest arriving and me remembering that I have a Amex card that gives me Gold level at the Hilton. Quick band change and and entitled to 5 other rooms at the same level, trust me it was just a band change as the level of service was already Platinum before the recognition and i had already had my room upgraded. It was still nice to have that recognition though! 4th day in and from 6 of us there is now 40 for my sisters wedding in a couple of days at the hotel. The staff did not even break a sweat and was able to cater for all our parties needs, which ranged from a wheelchair to executing a wedding in the most beautiful spot on the island. I can't recommend this hotel enough, the staff were great and after 10 days it was very depressing to leave. I will be back most definitely as I am not a resort person but the Hilton had everything I could think of and was so large I could find my own private paradise. Read less

First of all, I would like to say that my husband and I had a fantastic time at this property. There were pros and cons to our stay but I must say that overall it was a great time! First the PROS: We were VERY impressed with how this property is handling COVID. From the moment we arrived we were directed to sanitize our feet before entering the building. I appreciated that very much. Check in was easy and the front desk staff was very warm and welcoming. I am a retired Hilton employee and so I might be a bit fussy and they passed the test with flying colors. The staff was absolutely amazing, professional and above all extremely nice. We did not come across one grumpy employee. We were overwhelmed with the kindness of the staff. I would like to call out a few names: Anna Kay in the restaurant is a beautiful soul. She obviously loves her job and took the time to get to know us. Honestly, whatever you are paying her is not enough! We enjoyed her company so much that we offered for her to come stay with us should she ever visit the states. I would also like to mention the two ladies who gave us massages. Georgette and unfortunately I cannot remember the other woman's name but they were amazing. The lifeguard Romaine was wonderful and took out on the hobie cat and you could tell he loves his job. Julius (lifeguard) was also a gem. Herman and Tavia took amazing care of us at the cabana. in addition, and I am sorry I didn't get his name but the gentleman who spend his entire day raking the beach was so lovely and accommodating. I hope the Hilton recognizes these people as they were great. As far as the food goes, this resort did their very best to offer fresh and tasty food. I think we gained 5 pounds each! The grounds are impeccable. The pool areas were always kept clean and there was always an attendant walking around checking on us. We felt the love. The CONS: Not much to say except this: Fix the elevators!!! Each day at least one was broken and when it worked it was scary. The only other negative are the blankets. It is Jamaica! The beds do not need down comforters in duvet covers! First of all, that is an out of date way to make beds and it is WAY too hot for Jamaica weather. The property would save on air conditioning costs if it didn't offer down comforters. Constantly wrestling with sleeping conditions. All in all, we had a lovely time. Read less
