I stayed at this hotel for one night after our original hotel was fully booked on our last night. Upon arrival, the lobby was a hybrid indoor/outdoor space without air conditioning, making it uncomfortably humid while waiting to check in. The front desk staff was unhelpful and provided little information about the hotel's amenities. We were directed to one of several buildings, most of which lacked elevators. Our room was very outdated, reminiscent of the 1990s. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, the TV had no channels, and the bathroom was extremely cramped. It’s giving Harry Potter. We hoped dinner would be better, but the buffet was the worst meal we've ever had, leaving us puzzled as to how anyone could eat it. The only positive aspect of this property is its ocean view. Overall, everything else was not worth the money. The photos online are misleading and make the hotel look much better than it is. Spend a bit more and stay somewhere else. Do not stay here. Came to Mo bay 9 yrs ago and had a wonderful holiday. Our stay this year was brilliant too. The hotel is right on the beach, rooms have the comfiest of beds and our maid Dahlia did a super job. The food in the buffet is fresh, tasty and varied. Loved our meal at the sea breeze and also the Italian, service was good in Jamaican but we felt menu could be improved. Beach is outstanding and accessible for persons with walking disabilities. Barefoot, jerk and bar near adult pool all fabulous service and you can sit looking out to the ocean having a hot snack. The gardeners are expert at climbing the palm trees and getting you a coconut which you can then use to drink the great cocktails out of or alternatively have a refreshing beer. Entertainment is fabulous ESPECIALLY the BOB MARLEY tribute. There is a small complex across from hotel, lovely shop owners charging such cheap prices for Chrystal (Lisa is a gorgeous soul) and the elderly man next door who sells aloe Vera and memorabilia. Has a driver who will take you out cheaper than taxis at the hotel. Use the free bus to Margaretaville club. Years ago it had the best atmosphere, had only just opened when we went again. Our BEST trip organised privately was to the Lethe river rafting. Less tourists and a real Jamaican reggae feel. Can use buses from outside hotel down to strip where there’s market stalls or get a taxi for round trip 50 US. or 7760 Jam dollar. TIP is to speak to locals across from hotel on where to go. Jamaican people wear the biggest smiles are genuine and super fun. Never once in our 3 holidays have we felt worried about going out. Don’t bother with the free bus to the high end shops unless you have plenty money. Give the cats milk n water and a tickle. Appreciate the wonderful staff who serve you. They DESERVE it. Tip little and often it’s appreciated. A huge thank you to Ricardo and Annalise ( main rest) Akeem ( Sea B) Shane ( bar ) got my sis ice for her swollen foot. Shanoye( VIP) and Shanice on the money exchange, a beautiful lady with a beautiful heart. No wonder people return year on year. We LOVED everything about this hotel. Embrace Jamaica , it’s truly fabulous. Read less

Enjoyed the walk to get a drink from the barefoot bar. Had a couple of meals in the restaurants but actually preferred the buffet from food choice and ambiance no stomach upsets for two weeks well done all for your cleanliness 👍hope resort doesn’t change too much with recent sale as the Jamaican staff and guests are lovely Would love to stay again this was our first visit to Jamaica Read less

Third time to this property and it certainly has deteriorated. I know it has been sold so I think the apathy and lack of response is due to that. Some staff were still wonderful. I had made a request 3 times before going to have first floor close to the amenities due to mobility issue, prefer king and walk in shower. On arrival I had total opposite of all those things so after 4 hours got a room on at least the first floor and location was good. Unfortunately we had NO hot water for first 3 days, after asking twice a man came and said because we are on 1st floor and "heater" on roof, it takes awhile.. so after turning on water and waiting between 30 and 45 min, we had warm water. If you like a mattress like the sidewalk this place is for you. Best part was the pool, clean and warm. There are only 9 umbrellas on pool deck for about 150 chairs so shade was hard to find unless up at crack of dawn. Food was definitely not as good as before, fewer options at buffet and quite repetative, fish was always good. The Italian al a carte restaurant also good. Read less
