Not 5 STAR. Room not cleaned one day, bathroom not cleaned twice, maid drew hot tub for a tip though. Most staff just want tips without service. Staff congregate in walkways so wife and I had to step off to go around them. Landscape trimmings blocked the sidewalks. Just no attention to detail to approach 5 star quality.

We had a great stay over Thanksgiving! Beautiful resort with great service which keeps us coming back to Sandals resorts. The following team members were outstanding and contributed to our great Sandals customer experience: Dwayne and Sherry-Ann, an outstanding butler team. We can’t say enough great things about them. Rosan, a superb room attendant. She checked in with us each day to make sure we had everything we needed Give her a promotion, she is the best we’ve ever had at all our Sandals stays. Rochelle at Breakfast at Bombay was very good. Joy at Thai got us in for dinner when our reservation was messed up. Jermaine is a great captain and snorkeling was good even in all the rough water. Jody Ann is a hard worker and took good care of us on the beach as did Dexford. Last but not least the GM, Dawn, took care of us with some room issues and runs a great resort. We will be back to SRC. After two bad sandals experiences in Bahamas for different reasons this stay put my faith back in the Sandals brand. The food was excellent as good as any other all inclusive food I have had anywhere. The Indian restaurants and french were both faultless. The lunch was great too. Really good quality burgers and pizzas. The staff were exceptionally friendly. The butler service was mostly really good. The butler takes care of the restaurant bookings and really takes care of you by the beach. The only weird part was the room that’s called 1 bedroom swim up room and yet it’s definitely not a one bedroom and secondly it smelt very badly of smoke. These are two disappointing elements to an otherwise faultless stay. Read less

Place is run down with patches of drywall in their management office, room AC leaked and I told them about it over 5 times to no solution, mold in the room from leaky AC, French door in room had missing blinds and didn't open well (very hard to pull). Room cleanliness was as the same standard as a 1 star motel with a weird smell. I didn't enjoy my experience at all nor do I recommend sandals to anyone especially because my concerns went unnoticed. Every time we visit a Sandals, we remember why we have been coming for years. We hang out with old friends and meet new friends during each trip. This makes our visits so special. Our long-time butler Anthony and our new addition of Devroy were there for every step of the way. Anthony is simply amazing and has been for years, and we look forward to our time with him each time we visit. He knows what we like and during this trip he was able to pass that knowledge along to his new partner Devroy. Devroy was simply outstanding all week long and my wife and I felt like he knew us for years. Both Anthony and Devroy were one step ahead of us for the entire week and they made our stay unbelievable. Another special moment was when Anthony’s partner Nicole from our February ’23 trip stopped to say hi when she could in between work with her own guests. The entertainment and pool bar staff were especially fun this week. We’ve known Shewayne for years and he always is the first to come say hi when we get back on property. He makes each week lively and entertaining, and we just love him. This week we got to know Sobreena and Black and they added to the great week at the pool bar. Tracey Ann was also there every day to say hello and help us with whatever we needed at the time…she’s just amazing. The entertainment staff consisting of Lady J, Tasheka, and Dr. Smooth were great all week getting the most out of all the guests to make sure we all had a blast while enjoying the sun and pool. A special memory from this trip was a moment when Anthony introduced us to one of the chefs (Ingrid) that had been helping with food for my wife all week. My wife likes to mostly eat vegetarian, and Anthony and Devroy worked with Ingrid to come up with some great food ideas for lunch that kept it interesting and tasty vs just always having a salad or vegetable wrap. This was so exciting for her to try a few new dishes that she had not had until now. This was another moment of exceeding our expectations for Anthony, Devroy, and Ingrid! We were also able to enjoy two spa services this trip and for that we are so fortunate to have met Hileah and Bernette Harve a few years ago. We ask for them every time we visit. Our room was always clean and stocked and for that we have our team of Karla (morning) and Shanielia (turn down service) to thank. Finally, a shout out to the Loyalty team Trisean and Kimberley.
