Trip was delayed due to hurricane Milton, contacted Sandals after flights cancelled. They were able to rebook flights and get us new days to stay later that week. Trip was delayed due to hurricane Milton, contacted Sandals after flights cancelled. They were able to rebook flights and get us new days to stay later that week. We stayed in the newer High Grover building and rooms are large and modern. Tried to call the first day to get some dinner reservation, phone rang and rang and rang. Made one reservation after calling again, so we thought. French restaurant was busy next night with a table of 14 and we were not on the reservation list. but told we had a reservation at Butch's later that week, (at SMB) but couldn't get confirmation of that on the Sandals app.. Walk ups seem to be the normal trend. Being a small resort and expanding with another building of rooms to the west, they might need to open Spices for dinner buffet too. Beach is small and could use more lounge chairs for non-butler guest. Main pool is cloudy at times and needs to be skimmed more often. Pool activities were fun and entertaining. Pool swim up bar was always keeping the drinks flowing and lounge chairs available everyday we sat their. Food is very good at all the restaurant and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Took a day tour to Sandals Negril and Rick's Cafe. It was a great way to see outside Montego Bay area. We rebooked SRC at the resort but may try a different Sandals to change it up. Sandals arrival suite at the airport is a great feature when waiting for transfer. Mobay at the airport was a good deal for departure comfort, but line at SWA to check bags might make it useless as the line was long. TSA lines were short so Mobay express lane didn't make a difference in time for us. 5th Sandals 2nd in Jamaica. Read less

I wish we would have known about the cat situation prior to booking as we would have selected another Sandals resort. While eating other guest would feed the cats from their plates which was not appropriate for the dinning area in my opinion. The cats are also on the beach, walking around waiting to be fed or hanging out under the chairs. Read less

The property was small, Royal Caribbean, Montego Bay, which I actually liked. The food was good. Loves having a quiet pool next to the room. Shout out to Amanda (security) and Tasheka (entertainment) for making our stay extra special. Also loved being able to visit the Montego Bay which was very close.

My wife and I have just returned from a 10 night stay at Sandals Royal Caribbean, Montego Bay. This is our 6th holiday to a Sandals destination and we are now 'Emerald Members'. The hotel was up to the expected Sandals standard, and we were very impressed with the size of our modern room, complete with soaking tub on the balcony. The beach is quite small at this property, along with the choice of restaurants being semewhat limited, however, the full paired use of the neighbouring Sandals Montego Bay resort (5 mins drive by complimentary shuttle bus) more than made up for any shortcomings . The beach at SMB is stunning and combined with the additoinal dining options on offer, provided us with a another superb holiday in Jamaica. . Bless up to the Island Routes Reggae sunset cruise, we'd highly recommend the trip to anybody that likes to let their hair down. We're looking forward to visiting another Sandals destination in 2025.
