Extremely Tired hotel, Room wasn't what I expected from a Secrets Hotel, been to Secrets before and disappointed. Especially because was for our 25th silver anniversary. The finishing of decor was awful... all roofs had tiles missing, fair enough was a hurricane in June, but come on, it's 2 months later... All said , they're was some good stuff , food was good, but not consistent...went in french restaurant first week, and was awful, 2nd week completely different and good.. Altitude restaurant the same, bad, then 2nd week was great on our anniversary, the waitress was superb. 98% of staff were brilliant, only a couple that were miserable. Its kinda made me cautious of going to another Secrets . We really enjoyed, but was very expensive and expected more. Trashy gangster loud awful music by the pool, made us go to the beach every day.. Cmon we were in jamaica, play some Bob Marley music, or other decent non trashy music.. Read less

(Had to call 3 times for status update). The rooms that were booked magically changed in their system so had to wait hours to get it sorted out. Requested for water bottles at 5pm as there was none in the room when we were finally able to check-in, had to call 5 different times, and finally gotten it around 12:15am. Overall, the customer service needs to improve. The place is beautiful, and the restaurant servers were really nice!! They have variety food options and the quality of food was good too. I just wish the room service/ customer service was better. Read less

We came as a couple to chill for a week in Jamaica and it couldn’t have been better. We were lucky as the weather was fantastic, we did have rain every day bar one but it was pretty much a quick hour at lunchtime so wasn’t an issue at all. We did have an issue with the first room with the air conditioning but we made the hotel aware and we were moved to another room which was perfect. The beaches are stunning and there’s plenty of choice of Pools, we didn’t go preferred and for us we didn’t see why you would want to. Being low season the hotel was quiet which was perfect for us and there was no issue getting a sunbed and shade whether by the pool or beach at anytime of the day. The restaurants were great we particularly liked the Jamaican, the hibachi table and the Oceana and Seabreeze restaurants for lunch. We found all of the staff lovely really friendly helpful and professional. We’d especially like to thank in no particular order Lionel at blue mountain, Ingrid & Leshan at Oceana, Monique welcome us to breakfast at the world cafe, Sashae at breakfast, Philip at the piano bar (top barman) , Chevelle at Bordeaux and Renee at guest relations.
