This review is very overdue (like, a year plus!) so some things might have changed. Overall, my wife and I had a relaxing week here and really enjoyed the intimacy of a small resort. That's what we wanted - instead of the mega-resort experience. Just be aware what to expect when choosing a smaller resort like this. Specifically, you will eat at the same places every day, sit by the same pool or on the same very small beach, and see the same people. If this is your bag, then this is your place! Our room was the best part, with high ceilings, great bedding, and a lovely view. Service was adequate, although we struggled to get our mini-fridge restocked. Food service was solid, but not transcendent. Lunches were best, as the beach jerk shack was a standout, and the Canoa bar was a fun place for lunch by the pool. Drinks were good overall, especially the coffee bar. Staff and service was hit or miss, I'm afraid. If you are a beach lover, this isn't your place. The beach is pretty small, and the sand in the swimming area pretty mucky. But the spa services and the small pool there were nice. Best parts of our stay were sunsets out on the pier with drink in hand. Don't miss that. Worst part was having to turn down the fairly aggressive sales pitch for the resort membership program. Again, just know what to expect here and you will have a wonderful visit. Read less

Easily one of the best hotel experiences (from a service perspective) that I've ever had in Jamaica. Staff on a whole were excellent ... quick, responsive, ready to go above and beyond to make your experience a good one. Not the best beach when compared to some other resorts, but still deserves 5 stars. Oh and the food is excellent, the tapas bar… Read more

It is all-inclusive, with pleasant ocean views, a small but well-equipped gym, and a spa. The masseur Michael is outstanding, and helped a friend with chronic shoulder issues more than the sports medicine and physiotherapy services he attends in Canada. They have complimentary kayaks and paddle boards, and good security, including on the private beach. The place is adults only, with as many middle-aged and seniors overall than the millennial set. Great for old farts like our group of two couples. We hope to return! Bill Tucker Read less

Security is on point, this is the place for quiet, relaxation and personalized service, ideal for guests 50+ years old. The beach is very small and not good for swimming unless you walk down the pier. Biggest downfall for me is that for a "wellness resort" the gym and spa are mediocre, and for an "all inclusive resort", you really don't have much inclusion other than meals, drinks paddle boards, kayaks and a 20 foot massage per stay. The other very few activities require minimum attendance, and to go to their sister resorts for more dining and entertainment options, you must pay $80-100 for transportation there and back. It's close to the airport, nice for an extended weekend getaway from city life. Read less

Another note to keep in mind is the cost of cab fare, it,s out of this world, also a pound of local coffee is 60 USD, thats nuts. we took the Dreamers Cat cruise to Nigril,Avoid this company, too many flaws to mention. So that about sums it up...Mark K Read less
