We piked this place because we know the piano player, Ultimate Chocolate. He was in fine form, more than ably supported by Princess Tamara. Wonderful nights in the piano bar with them. Beautiful beach. And they really look after the grounds. Lots of things to do; great sports complex, especially tennis. Good water sports; advice to water skiers and wakeboarder is to try to get out as early as you can . They open at 0830. After that it gets choppy. Also golf is a treat; you get included rounds at nearby Negril Hills. Now this is eh equivalent of a municipal golf course, very basic, but they have caddies and a decent course, You just pay for the mandatory caddy, Tip them well, these guys need the money. Reserving loungers on the beach is, regrettably, necessary. Take some towel clips. Food generally good and very good in the Feathers restaurant. You need to reserve for that too. Staff were generally pretty friendly. Beach is not private; it is not anywhere in Jamaica. Lots of hawkers. Annoying. A couple of let downs: Check in with luggage delivery was horrid; stuff just not delivered Many rooms are right by the road and it is very loud The balconies are for the most part not so great; the old places near the road have a single bench and one seat - we didn't;t use them at all BTW, outside of the resort, Jamaica is really poor. There is little outside the resort Read less

We have been staying at Couples for 15 years and always look forward to returning The beach is beautiful, the food is good, and the staff are always friendly. We like having the scuba dives, snorkeling trips, party cruise, and golf green fees included. The large number of returning guests we see every year says it all

We went to CSA for the first time in October. We had arranged to have our wedding there (on the beach) and genuinely the whole experience was perfect. We had an atrium room which was gorgeous and very close to Palms, Lemongrass and the martini bar. Staff were wonderful throughout and really looked after us. We enjoyed the catamaran cruise from the hotel (which was free) and also used their shuttle to Ricks cafe. We spent most of our time on the beach with gorgeous sand and sea. Always managed to find loungers (no matter what time of day). Food was exquisite. Lemongrass was our favourite restaurant and we only ate at the buffet once in the entire two weeks. Drinks were plentiful and all top shelf. If you asked for Jack Daniels and Grey Goose, that’s what you got. We loved the piano bar in the evening. That man was so talented. Wi-fi worked really well, even as far as the beach. It was the hotels 21st birthday whilst we were there and they had a brilliant party. I can’t think the hotel enough. Our wedding and honeymoon was truly magical. Read less
