If you are into beautiful beaches and an active lifestyle with lots of physical activities, this particular all-inclusive resort is absolutely spectacular and a perfect fit for you. The beach is unreal, the food is mostly excellent, the staff are terrific, the dive shop personnel are amazing, the scenery is beautiful, the rooms are lovely, and the recreational amenities are top-notch, which also include real pickleball courts if you can believe it. Couples Swept Away is also on the Seven-Mile Beach and located just 15 minutes away from the world famous Rick's Cafe, which everyone should seriously visit if in the area. On the downside, this resort most definitely needs more air-conditioned restaurant/buffet settings to make it more comfortable to eat, and could also definitely use some upgrades/renovations in other areas, like the disco/night-life/conference room sections. Once those improvements are made, this Couples Swept Away resort would probably rank as one of the best all-inclusive value options to experience in the entire Caribbean region as a whole, never mind just in Jamaica. For more night-life and clubbing activities, however, there are other options in the area outside the resort that are either within walking distance or a short cab ride away that would likely be a better fit for those into that kind of noise. Conclusion: Would love to go back to Couples Swept Away, and probably for multiple times per year if one could afford the time and money to do so. Read less

We have been to csa for 8 times, including this trip. The last time we visited was in 2017 and we have noticed many changes, some not good at all. Positive change was the coffee bar, which had lattes and sweets. We were staying close to Patios Patio, and the resort closed it because of occupancy. We had to walk tp the Palms for the buffet, which was terrible. Patios is the only restaurant that has a made to order menu. There was one guy making omelets, but it took too long to get one, it wasn’t worth it. The coffee they now serve (a huge change for the negative) is high mountain coffee, not Blue Mountain Coffee, which they used to serve. The rum in the room is no longer branded Appleton Estates rum, but a cheap rum, made by Appleton. Seagrapes service was terrible. We sat down, after asking how to order, and no one came to take our order. We waited another 15 minutes and left. The staff did not seem as happy/playful as before, and I can’t assume why. Would not return. Spend your money elsewhere. Read less

A We have just returned from a fabulous holiday at CSA where we also got married. I have spilt my review into two sections for a general review and a review of the wedding. Hotel We upgraded and had an ocean front beach suite which was dated but quite charming. Repairs reported but wasn’t always fixed. The room was always cleaned to a variable standard. The water pressure was variable when having a shower. Overall we loved our suite and had a large patio that was enclosed and private. The room was very noisy in the night and unfortunately we was woken up each morning with a local vender shouting “smoke man” repeatedly each morning. We had read reviews before we left and some comments about stealing, we felt incredibly safe on this resort and felt comfortable in leaving our back doors open when leaving from the patio. However the venders on the beach are incredibly annoying. We was once approached whilst we was in the sea although security did come and move the guy on. One day whilst my husband was in the sea I was sunbathing alone and was bothered i felt really uncomfortable. Some members of staff also tried on a few occasions to sell us weed even when we said we didn’t smoke! The beach towels are not great so would suggest if you want your towel to cover your sun longer then bring some with you. They are simply the bathroom towels. The food was the biggest highlight for us and absolutely incredible. In feathers the food really is fine dining and we ate here three times and thoroughly enjoyed every meal. Lemongrass is Asian inspired and absolutely delicious. Patios is also lovely and doesn’t require a reservation. We also enjoyed drinking cocktails at the bar here. Carson was amazing at cocktails and made our evenings so nice with his friendly conversations and excellent service. The buffet at the palms is also excellent however the service in here is variable. It will take you a long time to get a cup of coffee so I would suggest if you like to drink your coffee with your breakfast fetch your own. We loved the food at scotch bonnet however this was the worst service in the whole resort with consistently rude staff, dirty tables, cutlery and salt and pepper not on every table. My husband wouldn’t eat there again after a member of staff was incredibly rude to him as we didn’t want to experience another hostile environment this was disappointing as the jerk chicken was my favourite. The martini bar is amazing and the two men behind the bar make it so much fun serving cocktails. Extensive list which we couldn’t get through! Natasha and Akeem behind the sunset beach bar was just fantastic always so friendly and enthusiastic providing excellent customer service and enhancing our holiday so much. Patios was closed for breakfast as the hotel was not very busy. This felt very unfair and we had booked and paid under the impression that all restaurants would be open. Another huge disappointment was the hotel is advertised as a spa but they will only let you use the facilities if you payed a fortune for a treatment except separate men and women steam rooms. This was annoying when it rained all day. The gym however is excellent. Wedding Perfect destination for a wedding. Rochelle and destin was amazing co ordinators. We had the perfect day, photography by Michael was just excellent. The salon staff however are very rude and not skilled stylists. I had an awful wedding hair trial which almost ruined my wedding day luckily a wonderful guest at the hotel saved the day by doing my hair. Read less
