Moon Palace Jamaica

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

The hotel

Occupying centre stage on the largest private beach in Ocho Rios, the Moon Palace Jamaica promises as many sensational sea views as classic Palace Resort touches which is why this is one of the hottest properties in the Caribbean. Consisting of 705 guest rooms, contained within two shimmering towers, you'll be totally spoiled for choice and with four restaurants and six bars to choose from, you certainly won't be left wanting when it comes to a warm welcome. World-class dining options and a tempting gourmet corridor provide a taste of things to come with the excellent Piano Bar offering a world of wine which has been expertly critiqued for your own deliberation. As most guest rooms have fabulous ocean views, fully stocked mini-bars and 24-hour room service, you may prefer to relax in private however, as Family Rooms come with two interconnecting doors you'll be advised to grab the moment while it lasts. Of course, that's not where the fun stops for kids as from their very own pool and FlowRider wave simulator to an organised club and wired teens' lounge, there's plenty of family options to keep your brood happy and active all day long. With four other swimming pools, excellent spa facilities and loads of daily activities, there's never a dull moment and with the stunning Dunn's River Falls just 15-minutes away, getting out and experiencing the very best of Jamaica doesn't get any better than this.

The service was PHENOMENAL. Romell and Devar are two employees I want to mention that went above and beyond to make sure their guests were satisfied. The food is so delicious, if you go you need to try the jerk chicken, it was so good. They have a bakery that is 24 hours and the crepes are to die for. The resort itself is elegant and clean. If you love water sports, this resort is for you. I would definitely recommend this resort to family, friends, and couples. There is activities pool all the way on the opposite side of the resort for families and children. On the other side there are pools and bars for anyone who wants a more relaxing vibe. Ask for the drink “bob marly” you won’t regret it. Read less

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left my girlfriend and I had an amazing time at the palace, the food was excellent especially being an all inclusive resort most times the food has been decent or subpar. But everything we ate there was amazing. The staff especially is what made the trip for us, back here in NY the people are pretty nasty so coming to our new home away from home in Jamaica and having the most welcoming people I’ve ever met in my life enjoy our vacation with us was unbelievable. Romell in entertainment and Devar as well made the trip for us for the times we were on the resort. I can’t wait to go back again to spend more time with them. And I highly recommend you do some tours as well while you are there. The resort offers quite a few things to do on site as well as off. Gully Falls and Mystic Mountain are a must. Thank you everybody who serviced us while we were enjoying our stay and most 100% definitely will be making a return trip. Read less

Not all the service was bad but at the Buccaneers Reef it depended who you got. I’m a Diamond member and as such I expect a certain level of service. In truth, bad service is not acceptable for anyone. We stayed in the Presidential Suite. One of the rooms was cleaned properly. Nikiesha was amazing from the Diamond Pool Concierge. I will not return to this hotel but I may try another hotel in Jamaica. Read less
