Viceroy Honeymoon Oceanfront Butler Suites are located in the East Wing and are open-partition rooms separating the living space and bedroom, and feature a marble bath tub.

Monarch Oceanfront Butler Suites are located in the West Wing and feature a dining space and marble-laden bathroom.

Royal Monarch Oceanfront Butler Suites are located in the West Wing, and are larger open-partition plan rooms, separating the living space and the bedroom. Each room has a marble bath tub.

Grand Duke Oceanfront Butler Suites are larger suites and are located in the East Wing. These rooms are open-partition plan rooms, featuring bathroom with Roman soaking tub and separate walk-in shower.

Grand Duchess Oceanfront Verandah Butler Suites are located in the West Wing and feature a large, spectacular verandah overlooking the ocean. The bathroom features Roman soaking tub and separate walk-in shower.

Royal Oceanfront One Bedroom Butler Suites overlook the resort's East Beach. These suites feature a luxurious marble bathroom with large Roman tub and separate walk-in shower.

Imperial Oceanfront One Bedroom Butler Suites are located atop the resort's beachfront West Wing. These suites feature two walkout balconies, a separate living area, and bathroom with walk-in shower and Roman soaking tub.

Governor General Oceanfront One-Bedroom Butler Suites are located on the top floor of the beachfront West Wing. These suites feature a spacious living and dining area, separate from the grand master bedroom, bathroom with a walk-in shower and Roman soaking tub, and two balconies.

Villa Plantana is a unique expansive villa comprising of 1-, 2- or 3-bedrooms complete with its own swimming pool. Set above the resort's quiet East Beach, the villa boasts it's own separate driveway and stone walkway, expansive living and dining areas, bedrooms with their own patios, and a private pool exclusive to the villa guests.

A wonderfully relaxing week. The friendliness of the staff really makes a big difference. We were very well looked after by our butlers, Marvin and Bebeato. The hotel is not perhaps the most modern, but everything worked and the beds were comfy. The food in all the restaurants is delicious.

It would have been wonderful but the food was soooooo bad. Overcooked rice, air fried chicken without seasoning, shrimp and vegetables rundown,also without seasoning. Totally overpriced for bad food. One of the butlers tried to convince me she had gone off the resort to get me food. Lies!

As you may remember, we were not very happy with the way our previous vacation ended. We eventually learned that there was an oversight involving emails. Your team, especially Marvin Boyd, went above and beyond to rectify the situation and succeeded in keeping us loyal returning customers. Mr. Boyd’s professionalism, patience, and dedication were truly commendable. He went above and beyond to address our concerns and ensure that our needs were met promptly and efficiently. From beginning to end, #Kelly-Anne (wedding coordinator) helped to make our special day ring true. It was even more than I expected. Our Butlers #Safiya & #Orayn were super attentive and fun. Although we didn't call on them much, but when we did, they were super helpful. Great idea to supply a cell phone to reach them. However, I missed calls because I totally did not expect them to check in on us. Sorry about that! Our friends' butlers were also a lot of fun #Tamara and #Carlos. The Terrace for breakfast was something to look forward to every morning. You have the option to order a la carte from the menu or you can select what you're craving from the buffet. But the best part about breakfast was #Vanya! She was so much fun! she was efficient too, but oh so personable. Lunch at the West Beach restaurant was great too. Our server #Ornella was excellent and friendly even though she was super busy. Unfortunately, I can't remember everyone's names, but all of the Bar staff and Servers were superb! As well as the entertainment staff, what voices! Including #Jessica doing her Tina Turner. The resort itself has a lot of rich history and most of the decor is a representation of that. Our room was great, loved the walk-in closet idea. However, the washroom was a little tired. Not a deal breaker since that was not a place that we spent much time. The food and drink were all top shelf! Excellent variety of high-end sprits. The food was plenty delicious. There were a lot of unique dishes, and we didn't get tired of any of it. (sometimes that can occur at some resorts) But not here! The grounds were meticulous and well maintained. We have wonderful memories of our vacation/honeymoon at Sandals Royal Plantation. This was our first resort stay on the island and it is without a doubt picturesque. Here are my thoughts good, bad and otherwise. Special mention - The beach restaurant was brilliant for lunch and a lovely sunset spot. The staff there were far and away the most friendly, welcoming and made our stay. Le Papillon’s food was good for the evening. **** If it is no tipping, (as is the case on all our Asian travels) please make it clear to the staff that if some guests choose to break the rules - it’s a pleasant exception - and not punish those who do not with surliness. And, btw, patois is not that difficult to decipher for native English speakers - breaking ‘character’ of being friendly in front of guests not ideal**** Tipping: It is highlighted repeatedly on the site that there is a strict no tipping policy in the resort, (apart from your butler as a thank you at the end). However, as the US clientele who habitually tip, clearly breaking the rules, there was definitely an air of expectation quickly followed by a look of disappointment if we failed to follow suit - and it somewhat soured the atmosphere (USD is not our currency). And this was something that was not easily rectified even if we wanted to, because there was a max limit of $100 US cash withdrawal on site per stay. Also, any taxis had to be paid in cash to the driver (no cards) rather than adding to the bill - finding a working USD dispensing atm in the heat in town - not very 5 star. Room: Had a great view, but a couple of less impressive qualities - the bed felt pretty close to the door so felt intrusive whenever we had a visit, particularly breakfast. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, but the seating area could do with a furniture upgrade - very old fashioned and worn and the eating area felt cramped. Very disappointed that for an ocean view room in a small 5 star resort there is no balcony. Housekeeping very variable - possibly down to lack of a daily tip. (Was going to leave an end of trip tip for house keeping, but the wet floors, dirty glasses, lack of a mini bar replenish, 6 hour vacant room still not done after a day out etc. etc. ) Bathroom: Also overdue a reno - tiny bath and basic shower for the hotel class . Also feels icky to have no sink in the loo to wash hands and having to handle a door to get to it. The dressing room is spacious, but the safe didn’t work. Butlers: We were very low maintenance and only really required a taxi and evening dinner reservations - however on more than one occasion they were unable to secure our simple requests. Read less
