The hotel

An adults-only haven, the All Inclusive Le Blanc blends beauty, luxury and tranquillity to create the perfect environment in which to relax completely. There are three swimming pools at your disposal, two of which are infinity pools, an outdoor Jacuzzi and a full-service spa surrounded by bamboo gardens with treatments aplenty to chase those cares away. Where is it

Flanked by the beautiful Nichupte Lagoon and the Caribbean Sea, the resort is in Cancun’s hotel zone, close to culture and nightlife. Transfer time from Cancun Airport: 30 minutes.

As a member who has been coming here twice a year for about six years, I can say that this is still a lovely resort. It is small enough to feel comfortable and at home, and very easy to navigate. We were last here in November, and there have been some changes since then. The restaurant Lumiere has benefited from those changes in that some dishes have been tweaked in a positive fashion- eg, the Onion Soup is less salty and much more flavorful, the chocolate soufflé is more authentic, and the creme brûlée is now one of the best I’ve had. The restaurant Bella, however, has not fared so well. (And Bella is my favorite restaurant on site). Key staff have been moved to other restaurants, and both nights we were there we experienced very uneven service. The second night was the worst- they were very short-staffed, our poor waiter was trying his best but was taking orders, bussing tables, serving food, opening wine- all while having LOTS of tables to care for. Our soup course was completely forgotten- then brought while our entrees were on the table. This is NOT what our past experience at this restaurant had been. Very disappointing. I hope management brings this back to the wonderful restaurant it was. We lucked out and had a terrific night butler, Saul- very sweet and attentive! Read less

Had A great experience, since I walked into the door of Le Blanc, great greeting, with the coconut milk drink and the cold towel to wipe our hands. The Staff was very nice and friendly, a lot of smiles. A good ambient in the resort. Very clean and staff well trained. Food was delicious.

We didn't start out on the best foot, as we had issues booking (they booked 4 days instead of 5 then couldn't combine the reservation. I had a similar problem with booking when I went to their Cabo location last year. We ended up having to book our own transportation from the airport (they got us booked back to the airport but it was a complicated . Upon checking into our room we immediately noticed a strong mildew smell in the room. They try to cover it with all of their scented night sprays, but that just made it worse. By the last night I was suffering some pretty bad allergies. The common areas all smell fine. Now the many, many wonderful experiences we had...first of all, the staff!! There was only one day on the beach that we didn't have someone waiting on us so I just made trips to the bar, which was no big deal. All of the other days we were spoiled all day/night long - Luis on the beach was our favorite. It would be impossible to remember everyone but our butlers were fabulous... very helpful and friendly and we felt like they were just waiting to greet us - Saul was so very lovely, as was our daytime butler who's name I can't retrieve right now. Manny at Terrazo especially stood out to us and I think it's safe to say we love him! He anticipated our every need. Tomas at Bella was our server 2 nights in a row and remembered which wines we tasted, in which order and which ones each of us liked the most. The food overall is outstanding! The staff is outstanding. And if you are planning to go, book restaurants and hydrotherapy ahead of time. Oh, also, I visited the little coffee shop every morning. Melissa was so accommodating! If you have not been to Cancun before, transportation is a breeze on the bus. It's a $1 US, each way and they pick up and drop off up and down the hotel zone. Oh! The beach! This was our first time in Cancun. We came to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday. Le Blanc staff (specifically our butlers, Marco and Joel) made our stay memorable, personal, and easy. The facilities are beautiful. And the views are gorgeous. Le Blanc offers a variety of activities throughout the days and evenings (painting, cross training [thanks Claudia!], beach yoga, poolside Bingo, bracelet braiding, evening shows, karaoke, live music...just to name a few!). These are easy to find on signs throughout the resort as well as their app. Night life is quiet, which is a matter of preference. But we appreciated the activites that were offered. Restaurant atmospheres were beautiful and the food was delicious. Reservations were easy to make via our butlers or the app. The pools were beautiful. The ones facing the ocean were full sun all day. Seating could be difficult to find, unless you got out early. But there was another pool (also beautiful) in the shade of the building. This side offered a less populated experience, but was still very nice. The spa was fantastic. Complimentary hydrotherapy is a must, and I'd recommend trying it out the first day of your visit. (That way you can book it everyday, if you like! [Margarita was so helpful!]) The view was stunning. We would absolutely come back. Read less
