I’ve been here for 5 hours. We requested 2 cribs for my one year old twins when we booked 6 months ago. We got here and they do not have cribs. We had a nightmarish 8 hour travel day and my twins cannot go to sleep because this resort doesn’t have cribs for them. Nobody is in a rush to do anything. Awful place for families.

The staff are wonderful. I cannot begin to name everyone of them, but I will mention Eduardo at the Gondola, Noe at Cuzco, and the Unique Pool concierges, Suleima and Jose. Also doing a fantastic job were Gladys, our Palace Resorts concierge, and Israel and Marco, our butlers. The food and service were excellent at every restaurant, and we ate at… Read more

Also doing a fantastic job were Gladys, our Palace Resorts concierge, and Israel and Marco, our butlers. The food and service were excellent at every restaurant, and we ate at several. Our room was well-maintained during our stay, and transportation was readily at hand. I had a wonderful time, and I am looking forward to returning next year. Read less

We decided to spend Thanksgiving at Moon Palace - Sunrise this year for a change of scenery. The area is decent, some of the food is good, the service is good most of the time although room service and some of the other services are a bit slow. Overall, we found the staff to be pleasant. Also our first experience at an all inclusive, which was exciting. The building and grounds are "average." They're outdated but generally clean except the hot tubs which had footprints and (what looked like) fungus on the bed of the tub. The second day of our stay, the power in our room went out and we couldn't finish getting ready. Just our room, not the rest of the property. We received $500 in resort credits and were excited to use them at the spa. To use the spa, you have to book via the app, which we attempted to do a few days in advance. You "submit an inquiry" and then someone either calls or messages you to confirm. It took quite a while for someone to follow up on our inquiry, then the agent allowed us TEN MINUTES to respond/confirm before closing out the request. So, we lost the chance to book. We tried numerous times and the spa was completely booked thereafter. While our friends enjoyed the spa, we were stuck sitting in the pool waiting on them. Tried to book a tour, and once the agent confirmed the tour, the agent followed up to apologize and let us know the tour was fully booked. I feel like we had one disappointment after another, so we've nearly written off visiting any Moon Palace properties at this point. Our stay wasn't bad. But it wasn't great. I feel there are many other options to consider with potential to deliver better experiences for the cost. I am so sad we didn't get the chance to experience the full set of amenities and experiences. Read less

We had some great conversations with them, were extremely personable and always had a smile on their face day in. We have been going to Sunrise for the past five years and always enjoy running into the same bartenders/workers whom we see year after year. These bartenders are the best and looking forward to seeing them again next year. Read less
