We love our Moon Palace stays. We cant wait to go back year after year! All our meals were good. Our favorite is Brazilian Restaurant. Always have great service. Golf course is challenging but we enjoy golf even though we are a couple of hackers. :) Cant wait to go back in November.

Fantastic resort from all points of view. We came back to it (stayed there one year ago). Stayed at Moon Palace Nizuc, with access to all facilities of Moon Palace Sunrise. Clearly a wonderful and luxurious vacation destination, located just a bit South of downtown Cancun (short ride to airport). Exceeded our already very high expectations. Better than most upscale all inclusive 5 stars resorts we have been to elsewhere in Riviera Maya. Common areas have are air conditioned and share the same aromatherapy nice scent. Lobbies have a Vegas feel. Very beautiful, luxurious, trendy, unique and modern. Very quick and efficient check in. The room key is embedded into the plastic bracelet. No need to worry about misplacing room key during the whole stay. Just needed to quickly add once the general WIFI signal to have internet access everywhere on the resort, even on the beach (no password required, no need to re login every 24 hours, no max number of devices per room). Service is impeccable. Always smiling and proactive, everyone truly wants to do whatever it takes for us to have a positive and memorable experience. Very generous resort. Every employee is super professional and demonstrates a high level of punctuality and attention to detail: from the front desk staff to the Playroom (kids club) attendants, to all waiters and to the entertainment team. The food and drinks were out of this world. We enjoyed not having to pre reserve to most restaurants (1st come 1st seated). Added sense of freedom to not have to rush for a reservation. And for those we chose to reserve at, penalties applied for no shows. We much rather this system compared to other resorts where people book in advance and don’t show up (restaurants not full while other guests were denied entry). Our 9 and 6 year olds loved the 2 Playrooms (Nizuc and Sunrise) and had a blast at the arcades room. The Playroom ladies were very friendly and the breath of activities catered to kids is fantastic. There was no shortage of interesting activities to do. We enjoyed the mini golf, the splash pad, surfing the Flowrider, renting bikes and participated in the daily entertainment activities (crazy games by the pool, stretching, aqua aerobics). We were very impressed when visiting the different Awe Spas. Truly spectacular and inviting premises. As for the beach itself, we were surprised to realize that very little people actually went to the beach. We were expecting to have to wake up early to reserve spots on the lounge chairs on the sand, but they were overall empty. Perhaps because the resort was not full. There was a lot less seaweed than last year. But many trucks on the beach: cleaning the sand up + there was a construction site nearby. That became also a problem as we had to watch out for kids safety as the trucks were whizzing by. We could not build sand castles at the shore because of frequent truck back and forth. Very fine grain sandy beach was very nice and warm. But area not very friendly for snorkeling as visibility in the water is low due to sand movements. Despite everything we did enjoy the beach itself every day. That’s why we wanted a beach front hotel in the 1st place. No mosquitoes whatsoever. No need for bug spray. All in all, our stay at Moon Palace Nizuc was the best we have ever had down South. Ever. Read less

We went as a family of seven ages 9 months, 3 years, 10 years, 12 years, and our 24 year old exchange student. Each and every person had a blast. There’s lots of night activities and super fun excursions. Boo the excursions early or you will be sitting for a half day in the office trying to piece everything together. Read less

We have been members of Palace resorts since 2009 and have been visiting Moon Palace since 2007. They never disappoint. Over the years we have been treated like royalty. The service is impeccable and the staff we consider as friends.

This is the second time my family and I have stayed at the Moon Palace in Cancun and we enjoyed it as much as we did the year before. The staff is very welcoming, accommodating and friendly at all times. My family and I went slightly before the whole COVID-19 traveling restrictions, but the staff made us feel safe and did a great job cleaning and disinfecting everything quickly, I mean they made it required to use hand sanitizer before entering the restaurants. The restaurants are wonderful, the food is great and there is something for each family member, even the picky eaters. While at the resort, there is so much to do from lounging by the pools and drinking margaritas, or my favorite Miami Vice, to going to their gym (which is offered in all three hotels) to going on excursions around Cancun (go to Selvatica for killer zip line activities!). The Moon Palace in Cancun overall is such a great place to go and relax, I highly recommend. Read less
