All of us loved every minute of their activities, but especially my son, including the great volleyball games held every day. Glendy and Gaspar gave us great service by the pool. And if you are lucky enough to be a Diamond member, look for Viviana with the Diamond concierge team as she is amazing. We will definitely go back again. Read less

Another stay at moon palace nizuc! Of the 3 separate hotels at this resort we prefer nizuc because it is smaller and quieter than sunrise or the grand. However we decided to spend a bit more and upgraded to an ambassador suite which is a bedroom and dining/lounge area. There was just 2 of us and having the space was wonderful. The ambassador suites at nizuc have a large shared veranda with each having a sun bed and chairs. There are also 3 large jacuzzis, one of which wasn’t working when we were there. So the good - as always the staff, Daniela from the pool entertainment team, Samantha (who remembered us from our last visit in September and asked after our daughter who was not with us this time), Carolina and Melanie all from the restaurants reception, and last but definitely not least Michelle from guest services. I’m also going to mention Eric and Abraham in reservations who were so patient in trying to sort out problems with our booking. Food in all of the restaurants is fabulous - extensive choices in la mangler especially when food allergies or intolerance is an issue. Hotel cleanliness is exceptional, and it always smells so good! Hotel grounds are beautifully maintained. The not so good - we were disappointed by the veranda area of the ambassador suites, it could be so good but with a broken jacuzzi, a 2nd jacuzzi we could only get into by standing on a chair 😱, and few sunshades, it was a disappointment. Luckily the room made up for it. I booked directly with the hotel, and had to change my dates at their request (long story which won’t affect the vast majority of customers). The process of changing the dates took 2 weeks and numerous phone calls from the uk to achieve. No apology or service recovery for the stress and inconvenience. There is nothing bad to say about this hotel - honestly! We stay at least once a year, and many people are return guests. We will be staying at sun palace in September and I am going to miss catching up with the lovely people at nizuc. Read less

On our last visit we experienced was our worst visit in 15 years. 1:30 Minute waits for dinners. Mediocre food. Facilities not maintained. Certain Managers and Servers that don't truly care about your experience and aren't there to make your experience GREAT our as they use to say "My Pleasure". The quality of service is still good, but not like it once was. There are still people that stand out that have exceptional service, but they are not receiving the support they should from Palace to make experiences even better: If your there look out for these great people that provide exceptional service!
