The experience was good. But never upgrade your room and pay extra. Preferred is not worth the money unless you don’t know where else to spend your money. I paid $170 extra per night to upgrade to preferred room with ocean view, but it was not an ocean view. You can see an ocean a mile away with blocked views. I’ve heard/read other people complaining about this as well. Also, please see if all the amenities work as soon as you arrive. I waited until the last night to use the bathtub, and it was not working. Too tired to call someone, never got to use the tub. You will enjoy the staff and entertainment, but if you want a nice view, go somewhere else like Hyatt Ziva. Their preferred rooms are adult only and the view is spectacular. Also they have 24hr personal concierge. Moxche has one each floor, but they are gone around 5pm and never was able to get help from her.

We are having a great time at the hotel. The impressions side offers a great service, very worth the extra cost. Unfortunately the weather has not been great, but the entertainment team has been so lovely and fun, specially Sergio and Miguel.
