Breathtaking resort, from the restaurants to rooms and many pools… total luxury! The resort speaks for itself, beautiful. They really have thought of everything and the staff were outstanding! Going the extra mile, above and beyond for us (without us having to ask). The staff in the restaurants were attentive and polite, remembering your names when you revisit and making you feel at home. Our favourite restaurant was the Japanese where our waiter Jorge went out of his way to ensure we were well looked after. The pool staff/waiters Manuel, Jacob and Daniel ensured we were never empty handed either that be with a cocktail or a snack. Finally, the people who we laughed with on a daily basis and really added to the experience was the entertainment team. They made our first time in Secrets Moxché such fun and even helped with making new friends along the way. Felix, Miguel and the rest of the team were so energetic and fun to be around. They always went out of there way to involve us in activities and ensured we were having the best time on our holiday! 10/10 all round! Read less

Just go somewhere else or book Impression Moxche as it is just little more than what you’d pay for upgrade at Moxche. I paid $170 extra per night to upgrade to preferred room with ocean view, but it was not an ocean view. You can see an ocean a mile away with blocked views. I’ve heard/read other people complaining about this as well. Also, please see if all the amenities work as soon as you arrive. I waited until the last night to use the bathtub, and it was not working. Too tired to call someone, never got to use the tub. You will enjoy the staff and entertainment, but if you want a nice view, go somewhere else like Hyatt Ziva. Their preferred rooms are adult only and the view is spectacular. Also they have 24hr personal concierge. Moxche has one each floor, but they are gone around 5pm and never was able to get help from her. Read less

We are having a great time at the hotel. The impressions side offers a great service, very worth the extra cost. Unfortunately the weather has not been great, but the entertainment team has been so lovely and fun, specially Sergio and Miguel.

My friend Lisa & I switched to this hotel 2 days into our 7 day vacation & it was totally worth it!! Jazmin, Gonzalo, Miguel, & Joy were some of the activities directors that made our stay even more special. Jasmin went so far as to schedule a private cacao ceremony for us to watch. The hotel itself is state of the art! All the amenities you can imagine and more. This has been one of my top 5 all time favorite vacations, and I travel an average of 3-4 times a year! I wish the French restaurant was open more than the two days it was available during our stay (one night it was closed for a private party), Ember is delicious, Seaside Café (Sea Sol) has the best lunch, Dos Alma’s is consistently yummy (try the corn cake dessert). The entire wait staff were amazing! (Nelvia, Wendy, Jessica & Alberto to name just a few.) I can’t wait to come back! Read less
