The hotel

Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort is an adults-only, all-suite hotel, just 10 minutes north of Cancun. Where is it

On a lovely white sand beach in the resort of Playa Mujeres. Just a 10-minute drive north from Downtown Cancun in an exclusive gated community, located inside a championship 18-hole Playa Mujeres Golf Course, designed by golf legend Greg Norman. Transfer time from airport: 35 minutes.

Our honeymoon is one we will never forget!! The service has been top notch. These workers truly care about the guest. We have to give a lot of thanks to Rosa and her coworker for making us amazing drinks and for checking in on us about our trip/giving us vacation tips. We will be coming back next year with friends to show them this awesome place.

We were both totally discusted/dissapointed on being introduced to the new hotel in playa blanca? by the VIP services and before we left to look at the hotel “I clearly said” we were just looking to have a 4 to 6 week stay at this new hotel… Read more
Whilst we enjoyed the hotel to celebrate our 45 year anniversary and also my wife’s milestone birthday. We were both totally discusted/dissapointed on being introduced to the new hotel in playa blanca? by the VIP services and before we left to look at the hotel “I clearly said” we were just looking to have a 4 to 6 week stay at this new hotel “Nothing else”. When we arrives we were introduced to a lady to take our details and then to another lady to show us around the hotel which we then made it clear “We were not interested in time share/club or anything! We then arrived to a room with other couples and another sales person and were subjected to a 15 minute intimidating sales push to buy into the secrets club( absolutely disgusting) and my wife and I were getting more and more upset. Once this lady finally got the message “we were not interested” she left the table and sent another person/manager over to see if ok and then “he tried to sell to us the same”!!! We finally left really upset that the end of our holiday to celebrate 45 of marriage was totally ruined by representatives “of the secrets company”. I said I would contact secrets first to give the opportunity to resolve this issue which I feel has really tainted the good name. I did try to discuss before leaving the hotel, but was told to wait for review email? I was contacted by a manager before review who emailed me a few times with apologies and saying give us the opportunity to try again. Try to book for next year at any secrets hotel in Mexico but he could not help with discounts etc Was I asking too much? Read less

Felix has made this week a fun experience! We have been able to experience his interactions daily at the pool to get the party started. We had a rainy day and Felix was at the bracelet making station for a good rainy day activity. Felix has been awesome this week.

Resort has been great, food is varied and very tasty, the cocktails and wine also very good! The entertainment team have been great around the pool especially Felix has been loads of fun Rooms are beautiful and well stocked. All areas are clean and staff can’t do enough for you
