I am writing this review, not only to give proper credit where it is due, but in response to all the negative comments that seem inappropriate and underserved. My Wife and I just returned home from a five day stay at this facility. Not only did we enjoy our stay, we cannot wait to go back for another visit. From the time Amstar dropped us off at the front door, until the morning we received our exit card, we were met with the friendliest staff, all of which bent over backward to ensure our stay was pleasurable. I wish I could remember all the names, but there were just too many to keep up with. The food at the many restaurants was delicious and fresh. We never had to wait in line for a table. Each evening we were taken to our table immediately. Breakfast was usually in the International buffet where there was more than enough great items to choose from. I rarely ate lunch because it was so filling. We never ran out of drinks or ice while sitting pool side. The staff was all over it. They made us feel right at home. All of the pools were beyond clean. We especially enjoyed the infinity pool which gave us a spectacular view of the beach and ocean while we basked in the sun. Our room was outstanding. One of the most comfortable beds I`ve slept in while away from home. We opted for the nightly turndown service, which I would highly recommend. So nice to walk into the room after dinner with the scent of lavender wafting the air. I took advantage of the balcony hot tub each evening. Such a nice way to unwind after a hot day with its cool water and exceptional view of the ocean. I would recommend opting for the Preferred Club if you can. Check-in was private and quick. We were given very thorough information about the resort and its offerings. Each day we took advantage of the Preferred Club snacks and private bar. We chose to spend our time here in September on purpose. It was nice having the place mostly to adults. The only children there were ones who were not yet school age, and there was VERY few of them. The resort was also not at full capacity. I would say probably 60-70 percent. I`ve ready so many complaints about all the weddings. Again, don`t go in the Summer months if you think this will be an issue for you and your family. There was literally one (1) wedding the whole week we were there, and it was very small. The wedding party didn`t create a single issue as others have complained about. All in all we had a very good experience here and cannot wait to return. Read less

The staff were amazing, pleasant, happy and helpful. The resort and its amenities were very clean and inviting. The food selection was great. My daughter's wedding there was her dream come true felt like Paradise. I highly recommend and will definitely go back

There are a handful of restaurants along with a buffet option. The rooms are clean, the views are beautiful and the staff are wonderful. The staff make you feel welcomed and appreciated for choosing to stay at Dreams. Below I’ve added some of the names of the amazing staff that made us love the resort. Fun times when we showed up. Giogavanna helped us with basically, the whole resort with the events and just gave us a lot of motivation. I would definitely go back to the resort lots of karaoke nights and as always tequila very friendly staff all the way around thanks. See you soon.

The room layout is strange with the bed in the middle of the room, bathroom behind the headboard, which makes it very uncomfortable for families. There is very little privacy in the bathroom. Even the glass doors to the toilet and the shower had etching on them, but the left and right sides of each door did not so you could see right through it. Also the top and bottom of the doors have gaps. Sounds travel easily and I had to ask my son to leave the room every time I wanted to change clothes, use the toilet or take a shower. This would be awkward if traveling with friends also. If you are a couple them these rooms are probably fine for you. Pools and grounds, entertainment are great! I can't say enough nice things about the staff- everyone we dealt with was super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I wouldn't stay again because of the lack of privacy. Maybe if they would get full solid doors on the toilet closet and shower stalls I would because I liked everything else about this hotel. It's a little dated but very clean and pretty grounds.
