If you expect Dreams Sapphire Resort to approach you with drink, food & services you will be disappointed. It's more like a self serve place with very limited staff on site. Foods and restaurants are not available as advertised! Most restaurants are closed and they served the same food buffet every night. We booked for seven nights during Thanksgiving and got bored of the food options after the third night. All alcohol drinks are water down. We travel to Cancun a lot and this resort was the worst experience we ever had. Reservation at the Bordeaux Restaurant ruin our family vacation. Sergio, the restaurant captain is super strict about ladies wearing open toe-shoes into the diner. He's like a mean gate keeper at the door. Please beware if you're planning to have dinner here. The cleaning staff were great and kept our room clean everyday. Thank you to Willy our golf cart driver and Guadalupe at the reception desk. Our check-in and check-out process was a breeze, thanks to Willy & Guadalupe! Read less

This is going to be a little longwinded, so I'm going to capitalize the individuals names so they don't get overlooked. We recently returned home from our 2nd visit to the Dreams Sapphire Resort and Spa, in as many years, however this time we went for our wedding. There were a few hiccups along the way, stress and tears, however our wedding planner GRACE made sure all of those feelings were put to the rest before the big day. When our Wedding day arrived, the staff had perfectly pressed our tuxes and my brides gown and ensured they were ready for us for when the time came. When I arrived at the venue (vista del mar) it was more beautiful than I had imagined, not yet seeing the venue fully decorated until moments before walking down the aisle, it was the perfect setup. We had chose to use a violinist for our entrance music, she was not only able to play the songs we had requested but she played those and other songs prior to us walking out beautifully. Watching my bride walk down the aisle, she looked beautiful, ROSI from the spa did an amazing job with her hair and makeup. Although not meeting her until the day before the wedding, SOCO (our Officiant) was very thorough in capturing all of the details required for the ceremony, and her delivery and presentation at the wedding was perfect. As for capturing all the moments of our day, we opted for the Emerald package, with not sure what to expect, we were blown away with ISRAEL and ALEX with Adventure Photos ability to capture all the moments of our day. Starting with getting ready, to the ceremony, photos of us around the resort, right to our ceremony, ISRAEL and ALEX were always ready to capture that perfect picture/video. Their eye for capturing the perfect moment, in the perfect lighting, with the perfect placement was incredible. And when it came to the concerns of people walking along the beach being in the background of the photos, I had asked ALEX if they could take a picture again because I saw someone walk by, he assured me that they always are aware of that and they film/capture at angles where they won't be visible. The DJ services were incredible, and were always ready for any requests or changes brought to them. The bar staff did an excellent job, WENDY was bringing drinks/shots out to the dance floor for our guests. I know this was just the one day, but it was the most important day for us. Thank you so much to everyone who helped make our day one we will never forget. A HUGE THANK YOU to GRACE, for always being there to answers all of our questions, concerns, messages and for making the wedding of our dreams come to life. We couldn't have asked for a better person to help us plan our wedding. As for the rest of the week, I have to start by saying that we never came across one staff member who was rude or dismissive to us in any way, every staff member at this resort is very friendly and welcoming, and are always looking for a way to help. My aunt had a bad fall and required emergency assistance and the staff were fast and excellent at handling the incident and ensuring she was properly taken care of. The nightly entertainment at this resort is next level, I can't think of another resort that even comes close to how excellent these shows are. The wait times for all of the restaurants were immediate to short, even with the construction limiting the number of a la carte restaurants able to be open, and the food at all of them were delicious. There was always a seat open at the buffet whenever you chose that route for breakfast or dinner. The entertainment group during the day elevates everyone's experience at this resort and are constantly trying to include people in the organized events they have planned for the day. The drinks were always quick, tasty and bottomless, the pools were always clean and never over crowded, the water slides were exciting, the beach was beautiful, the rooms were always clean and were always enough towels, the resort never had any garbage laying around and was well maintained. I can't begin to thank the staff at this resort enough, if the pool, weather, drinks and food weren't enough these people always ensured everyone was enjoying themselves. Thank you so much to all of you for making our week perfect, we look forward to coming back a 3rd time in the future. Read less

On sight are tennis courts, pools, water slides, spa ($), mini putt course, climbing wall, giant jenga, connect 4, ping pong table, pool table and a kids zone. It was easy to eat a la carte almost every night. For Bordeaux, the French restaurant, remember to bring pants and closed toe shoes for men. The beach was nice for walking but had a lot of debris wash up on shore. Kudos to Gerardo the pool concierge who managed to find us a spot in a cabana almost daily. Read less

After multiple visits at the reception and multiple requests they "cleaned " the beach. What they did was mixing that garbage with clean sand. They had upcoming private event ( concert) so the whole week they were building the stage next to swim outs on the beach and after that they did sound checks. All day, everyday. They tested speakers with all kind terrible noises not music. Another construction is going on next to restaurants and main pool. Some of the people working in the resort are very rude. Preffed club is a joke. Worst vacation ever. Worst beach ever. Will never go back. Will never recommend this place. Definitely not luxurious like they called themselves Read less
