I enjoyed everything about my trip. I especially enjoyed the entertainment that was provided, as well as the entertainment crew. They all really livened up the resort. Preferred beach service is excellent. Lovely oceanfront room, with good housekeeping, everything always replenished. Graciela and Daniel give first class drinks and snacks service on the beach. Always coming round asking if we need anything, never have to wait long.

Dreams is just a fast 15 taxi ride to the city of Tulum which was a great plus for us. The food is mediocre but that is pretty much expected of resort food. The best restaurant is the hibachi in our opinion. The only complaint I have is the sales staff. They are extremely relentless. I was not interested in heading their sales pitch and I made that very clear from check in but that did not stop them from calling the room every morning leaving notes under the door. Read less

Hi Let me start by saying the restaurants staff was amazing and even though at time s they will get busy they cane back to my table with a smile. The hibachi grill , although the concierge service made it seem to be the best part of the whole meal experience, turned out to be the worst of the food. The fried rice was hard and too salty. The shrimp was over cooked and the steak was drenching in butter and once again was salty and over cooked. The chef made it awkward where no one in the table was interacting and his show was nothing to clap about. The chef barely had three tricks up his sleeve and yet failed several times before he could get it right. I hated the part where they try to up sell you wine where is supposed to be included as part of all inclusive. The main pool with the swim up bar and the barefoot grill was the worst. So filthy that while walking in the water to obtain a drink a used condom got stuck on my toe. It grossed me out! I made aware the situation to one of the pool servers but he ignored me and walked the opposite direction. Both pools the party pool and the pool by the sugar bar were moldy. The bottom floor of both pools where slippery because of the grime and mildew and the side walls of both pools had black mold on the tile grout. We could not go inside the beach due to high mounts of seaweed. Every time they would haul some of it away the whole place will smell like open sewer. On the second day of our stay we started having a leak from our washroom ceiling, so I reported it right away. It took the maintenance guy two days to come fix the leak. The maintenance guys said he will send someone to freshen up the room since there was dirty water all over the washroom floor but no one showed up to refresh the room. I was really upset about the greeters/sales people at the entrance to the hotel. After checking in they pass over to the sales person to give you a coupon book for you to use at the resort that is actually worth nothing because they just use them to make spend more money since they can be combined or used all at once. The lady that gave us the coupons insisted that we join her for a special breakfast that was only offered by them so we get to know each other and so she can show us the resort. She said she will gives us $100 to use in the resort or to book an activity. I told her I knew what she was doing and that she was selling me a time share. She right away reassure it was not a time share. Once again I confronted her and told her we didn’t want to waste our time with her three hour trying to convince me to buy something I didn’t want. She ended up by saying they are just going to talk to us about buying a membership to stay at any of their hotels, come on! It’s the same thing as a time share. We ended up upgrading to Preffered stay which gave us access to her so called special lunch. She saw us the next day at Preffered breakfast place and pretended she didn’t know us. All drinks where mediocre and inconsistent through the whole resort. Bartenders at the sugar bar will serve the guest that were lighter in skin color first clearly when we had been waiting in line first. All the well liquor that is being served in the resort is of the lowest quality. On the Preffered Vip bar, we felt rushed all the time. Bartender always had a drawn on his face. Once we cane in about 20 minutes til close time and we were served in small plastic to go cups when we clearly asked to have just one drink. He placed the drink on the bar tip and said have a good night implying for us to leave . I mean , we paid extra $80 per night just so we can access to better liquor and good service but we obtained the oposite. Honestly I would not come back to this resort. There are better nearby resorts for same or even less money than we paid. Read less

We loved staying here and would consider returning one day. Only a few minor opportunities for improvement... the food could’ve better but it was still good. Also, we wished the night life (the discotheque specifically) was a bit livelier but we still had a great time.
