The staff were friendly and helpful. As a result of a food allergy I have, they took extra precautions, including having a separate clean set of utensils that would be transferred between the different restaurants we visited. The food presented to us was appetizing and tasty. Even my food, which is limited to fruits, veggies, meats, eggs, olive oil and salt and pepper, was presented in a way that left me feeling spoiled. The Concierge checked in on us every couple of days to determine if we needed anything, and it was always done with a smile. Our rooms were clean, and the balcony was a great place to enjoy my morning coffee. Read less

We had a great trip to Dreams Tulúm. The entertainment team was especially fun and welcoming. They organized fun activities, interacted with guests, and made sure everyone was enjoying their visit. We had a great conversation with Victor! He kept us informed about events & activities and taught us about local culture & traditions. Everyone we met on the entertainment team was great! (Erik, Alex and everyone else too!) The waiters and chefs also did a great job. Thank you. One of our highlights of our visit was a 2 hour snorkeling trip that left straight from the beach at Dreams. We booked this tour through Aqua World at the desk by the pool. We saw the Mayan ruins from the ocean, and then snorkeled with sting rays and sea turtles. We also saw many beautiful fish! Esther was a great guide! We booked another tour through Amstar… Tulúm ruins, cenote swimming and snorkeling. Also a great experience! Lukas and Carlos Alfredo were great guides… fun, experienced, and informative. They made sure we were comfortable, hydrated & safe all while having a fun time! Transportation from the hotel was helpful since we didn’t rent a car for this vacation. We enjoyed the resident iguanas, lizards, birds, etc. on the hotel grounds. The water was beautiful and warm. Not too much seaweed, and the staff did their best to clean it up off the beach each morning. Something here for everyone! Read less

The staff were wonderful, always willing to help. The room was very nice; the food was great. I didn't care for all the rocks in the water, but what can do about that?

My wife and I recently stood at Dreams Tulum for a wedding. It was by far the worst all inclusive experience we’ve had. We actually ended our trip early that’s how much we did not enjoy it. The rooms are outdated. The drinks are basically sugar water. The food is sub par. Their specialty restaurants had no AC. The main lobby for check in had no AC. Our first room had no AC. They offered us a room change but couldn’t have it ready till after 6 which made us miss the rehearsal dinner for the wedding. We get to our new room and the room didn’t have cold water in the shower. We probably spent more time at the front desk trying to resolve our own issues than we did enjoying the amenities the resort offered. The grounds are out dated. They should consider a new landscaper also. I can go on and on about what they can do better. Oh don’t sign up for the VIP tour. We were harassed to do it and gave in, a 90 min tour turned into 2 and half hours. This property needs a revamp desperately. The staff needs training. If it wasn’t for the wildlife and the location I wouldn’t have anything good to say. Read less
