The staff were friendly and very helpful they couldn't do enough. The yoga, meditation and fitness classes were top notch. We did the Dolphin and Whale watching boat tour, it was spectacular, the boating team Mellissa, Daniel and Miguel were a lot of fun and informative. Just remember to take bug spray, as the bug are tough in the evening. I can't wait to go back. Read less

It was my first trip to BodyHoliday and it certainly lived up to the hype. With under 200 rooms, you are guaranteed a more intimate experience with like-minded individuals all after the same type of holiday: fitness, wellness, spa, beach, dancing, cocktails, but zero beefed- up guys or girls in string bikinis trying to be something they are not. It was solos month and there were many, but couples and families too. Solo should not be confused with "single" but if you were looking for a mate, the ratio is 10:1 woman to men. Gentlemen, your odds are quite high. Age range was 40+ The room: I had an oceanfront room which was well equipped and the view was beautiful. The bed was comfortable, a nice bathroom with plenty of fresh towels refreshed daily, a mini-fridge, etc. Nice touches like a tea service with your turndown set this resort apart. The water pressure could have been better but you're in the Caribbean and nothing is ever perfect. I let that go. My expectation of a "luxury" all-inclusive is a stocked/refreshed mini-fridge The bottle of cheap bubbly on arrival did not cut it. Only returning guests get a one-time fridge stock. However, there was a high price tag on my room and my expectation was to have a few extras. Spa/Fitness: The treatments and classes were great. I added the 4-handed ayurvedic massage which should not be missed. It's like nothing I've ever experienced before and it was pure bliss. Wellness: I had a full medical workup with Dr. Maha and also took advantage of his expert skill in acupuncture. While this came at a high cost - I almost fell off my chair - my intuition told me to go with it and the readouts were beyond my expectation. I have seen multiple functional medicine and naturopathic doctors and he is one of the best in the business. Adjacent to his office is a set of far-infrared heat therapy chairs. Many people don't know about these, but they are free to use any time and are very good for inflammation, pain, fatigue, etc. I took advantage daily. Food: This is where the resort fell short for me: The deli is healthy and very good - they were out of Kombucha and gluten-free breal all week which limited my options which as a big disappointment however, I ate most of my lunches here. Great coffee, smoothies, fresh juices, and sweet treats as well. The best salads, sandwiches, and wraps (gluten included) Cariblue - This is the main restaurant and, in my opinion, not up to par unless you are seeking out a breakfast buffet. When in the carribbean I expect seafood - it's right outside the door. There was one dish per evening and it was never very good. If you wanted the anything special, it all came at a cost - and not just a $10 or $20 surcharge, we're talking $40 per plate. This was, by far, the biggest disappointment of them all. I know a lot of the "all-inclusive" goes into spa and fitness, but to pay extra for any seafood other than a piece of fish on a menu is unbelievable. Eating a lamb shank in 90-degree weather is not really appealing. Tao: I didn't get the excitement here. I had two meals here to get away from Carriblue and it was nothing special. All the good stuff is on the extra cost menu and the proces are sky-high. They make a big deal about these reservations - 48 hours in advance when it was NEVER full. Service was attentive and nice. Windows: This is by far the best dinner reservation to get. It's a fixed menu - one is all-inclusive with 3-courses ane the 6-course. One night was seafood which was, of course, right up my ally and the other was Italian. The chef is just great, super personable, and easily subbed out a dish if you had allergies. The food was great. It's very small - only 8 or so tables so it's a tough reservation, but as a solo, you can sit at the chef's table, aka the counter, which has 6 seats. Don't miss the Wine Room. The staff here knows their wine and they have quite a good collection. We did a tasting for $11 US as it was fantastic. The lesson in wine is worth the cost itself, however, one of the pours was Tattinger. The house wine pours were okay - the Rosé and whites were decent but the reds were not so great. They had a nice wine by the glass list but this was, of course, an extra cost. The drinks were all pretty good. They would make you whatever you wanted, but the decently stocked bar was in the Piano bar. The loved the tray passed Pimms daily. While some people were dedicated to health and fitness, this is a resort for everyone. Everyone was very well behaved - even after the Friday boat cruise and beach bbq. The watersports were great - I didn't do many as I was busy floating in the water rings drinking Pimms - you'll know what I mean when you arrive. It was my happy place. Adventure activities: I signed up for two to see the Pitons and other parts of the island but both were canceled as not enough people signed up. This was disappointing, but I found that most people did not want to spend extra money - it was all-inclusive all the way. Overall it was a great stay. I made some new friends which I know I'll stay in touch with for life. The resort has its flaws but the people outweigh most of them. They do really need to address the food. I know its difficult to cater to everyone and you are doing a decent job but its definitely an area to be improved. Read less

We visited the Body Holiday in the last two weeks of August 2019 and had a fantastic time. A fantastic range of food on offer with different restaurants to choose from. We are both veggies and were very happy with the food on offer for us. The classes were challenging and the instructors extremely well trained, energetic and fun. Its great to be in a class where you feel you are being pushed to the limits and somehow in the mist of exhaustion you are smiling. The spa is an extremely relaxing and peaceful place to sit, read and relax and we loved our daily treatments. They are also extremely flexible and accommodating when you need to change your timings. The water activities are plentiful and the staff provide very good training and make you confident enough to take the craft out on the water by yourself. If you are a sun worshipper the weather might be a slight risk but being in the low season you’ll get plenty of space as the beach was fairly empty. As you lay and relax on the beach or even the water the staff will keep you constantly hydrated and provide you with any drinks you’d like from just water to cocktails. Their service isn’t just limited to the beach they will come into the ocean if you are feeling that a nice cold pimms as you float on the calm waters will improve your relaxation. The best part of the resort and what makes this a truly fantastic experience is the staff. They are always friendly but always aware of you and your needs, always eager to help and be there for you. They turned the body holiday from a place you visit to a home you come back to. Read less

This was my 3rd visit and, whilst it's still good and a great break, there were a few things that disappointed. The overall experience - the treatments, the classes and the location - are excellent but.... Travelling solo is difficult but I have always felt that this is catered for at BodyHoliday. I thought September Solos would be the perfect time to visit. However, this meant that the communal table was far too big and with only one Body Guard to host was rather stilted. I didn't bother with it after the first night which is a shame as this is where you meet the people you spend the rest of your holiday with. The food in Cariblue was cold by the time it got to the table (probably due to trying to seat and serve so many people on one table) - service was slow. The Deli was great and the Clubhouse was good when it was buffet style. Tao was excellent. The Garden View room looks nice but wasn't 'user friendly' - there's no socket near the kettle so I ended up putting it on the floor, no decent lighting by the mirrors, the full length mirror is positioned so you have to wedge yourself into a tiny space next to the bed to use it. The only drying facility is on the landing outside the room (assuming it isn't taken away) but doesn't get any direct sunlight so items take forever to dry due to the humidity. The real saviour of my week was the guest presenter - Ant Lynch - who ran some brilliant classes. The treatments were lovely, as always, and the therapists were very friendly. Read less

My 7th great trip. Was wonderful to meet up with great friends from last year. Fab sessions from the Ant & Ali Lynch dynamic duo - I hope they will be back next year their various sessions (especially Body Combat) are so much better that those we had to suffer in Jive June! I only returned this September because of them - I have the first 2 weeks in September next year blocked out in my calendar just waiting for the Bodyholiday schedule to be announced! Sadly I couldn't do 2 weeks this year otherwise I would still be there and not stuck at my desk now. There are signs that the service here is starting to slide a bit, many repeat guests were commenting that the usually lovely staff were not their normal friendly helpful selves - I hope this was a blip and not the shape of things to come as this is one of the reasons many of us go back time and again (this was my 7th trip and 2nd this year). Attention to detail lacking. Returning guests used to get fruit n their room and a bottle of champagne - I thought this had stopped only to find it was just me that was forgotten! Requests that were made on the webroom before I arrived had not been passed to the correct department so not fulfilled - although the new F&F manager did finally manage to source some sugar free tonic for me on my last day, hopefully one day they will stock this regularly.
