The hotel

Staying here at East Winds you get the feeling you've joined a secretive, but rather wonderful club. Hidden away down a secluded lane, you stay in unique cottage-style rooms, dotted around the 12 acres of attractive, well-tended gardens that open out onto a wonderfully serene beach. Everyone who stays here rates the friendly, attentive staff and the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The food is legendary, thanks to the expert chefs, and Champagne is served every night.

My fiancé and I stayed here in November and we had read all of the great reviews beforehand but still were unprepared for the exceptional hotel that East Winds is. We stayed in a Superior Cottage, which was perfectly tucked away in the lush grounds and was spacious enough for the both of us. We both had a massage during our stay and it was the first time I have had a massage where they haven't played spa/relaxing music, they didn't need to, the spa was perfectly nestled away in the garden with it's own natural sounds to relax to. The beach was wonderful, plenty of sun loungers, we didn't use the pool too much as we loved the beach, but on the one occasion we did, it was great. The food was exceptional, everyday with so much variety to chose from. We did the Soufriere day boat trip and that was brilliant, I would thoroughly recommend this. The service was outstanding from the moment we arrived to our departure. We don't usually go back to the same place twice but we certainly be making an exception here. We can't wait to return. Thank you East Winds for an unforgettable stay. Read less

We have recently returned from East Winds which far exceeded our expectations. The food and wine were of a high standard and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. It was a real step away from our normal busy and stressful lives. We are definitely considering a return trip.

It's an ideal location if you looking to relax and wanting excellent food, which we thought had gone up a notch since our visit last year. I'm not going to write in detail as so many reviewers have written at length to praise, but just to say we plan to return once again in 2020. Read less

Just returned from what was simply an exceptional holiday with the family. So where do you start with the superlatives to explain the East Winds experience? We stayed in two exquisite deluxe cottages which were beautifully furnished, a spacious patio containing a well stocked fridge, coffee and tea making facilities overlooking the splendid gardens. The food and beverages at East Winds are top notch and are certainly plentiful .....and the service quality is of the highest order. The grounds are an absolute delight, beautifully maintained with humming birds regularly visiting the many bird feeders, often positioned close to the individual cottages. What makes East Winds truly outstanding however are the staff. We had read many of the previous reviews noting the wonderful team but were still blown away by how special they are. It would be wrong to mention any individually, suffice it to say they all repeatedly go above and beyond. Nothing was ever too much trouble and always with a smile and frequently with a song or even a dance ....... We will be back that’s for sure! Read less
