Caribbean Tropical Premium Rooms are located on the first floor of Rodney Bay building, with partial views of the ocean and gardens from the balcony.

Caribbean Honeymoon Walkout Rooms are located on the ground floor of the Cap Estate and Bonne Terre buildings, with direct access to the gardens from the patio.

President Clinton Oceanfront Penthouse Two Story Butler Suite is an exclusive suite located on the top two stories of the Cap Estate building, with panoramic views of the ocean, gardens and pool. This suite features a master suite and second bedroom, each with king-size bed, two marble bath tubs, living and dining space, and an expansive veranda with outdoor living space and an outdoor shower. Over the Water Honeymoon Butler Bungalows feature glass floor panels to enjoy undersea views at any time. Inside each bungalow, you'll find a smart TV and a large ceiling fan, bathrooms equipped with his and hers sinks, a large backlit mirror adorned with mosaic tile, and a walk-in rain shower. We took regular rooms and loved our location and rooms were beautiful. After our hour 1/2 ride "which is no secret", we were starving and it was late. Our 1st encounter was meeting Sharlene the Poolside manager. She stayed late to make sure we ate even though the lunch restaurants was closing. She didn't rush us and she made sure we were completely taken care of. And she continued to show her greatness throughout our stay. Honestly I felt like VIPs. The staff at this resort of course along with the amazing food, beaches and service were the perfect combination for the best vacation. Mike the resorts General Managers presence was seen throughout the week. He is hands on and it shows because his crew had smiles for us everyday. He personally went above and beyond to ensure a great vacation. I always say in life, its the little things that make the difference. They are proof its true. I consider myself a "traveler". My now husband and I had the most perfect trip here we could’ve dreamed of. We wanted a small wedding and honeymoon, and Sandals delivered! Our families stayed at La Toc and were given free shuttles to our resort. We had a day spent touring the ceremony/reception venues we picked, tasted cake and more just to ensure everything was perfect. It eased my mind so much that I could enjoy my vacation before the wedding day. The wedding day was organized and seamless. I opted for my own outside makeup/hair artist, which meant I did not get ready in the spa. They gave my husband a complimentary room to get ready in so we could be separate. We also opted for an outside photographer (our biggest disappointment was the $1,000 outside vendor fee charge from Sandals). Probably the best aspect of our vacation was the Butler service we received as we booked the Over Water Bungalow (so $$ but so worth it). The total price with the wedding and staying in that amazing room still equaled less than what we would have paid for a traditional wedding/reception in the US. Our butlers made sure our trip was beyond perfect. We grew close with them they became like friends/family to us. Every single thing we needed (new keys, guide around the resort, reservations, snacks, housekeeping and more) was just a text or call to them away. Special shout outs to Glenda and Tamara who were with us almost everyday, and covered the shifts of our first butler (Gemma-also amazing) who had to take the week off. They were so friendly and kind and made us feel like the only couple on the resort. We will forever be grateful for them!! She worked throughout the resort and deserves a promotion! - Bertha, at the Red Lane Spa, gave an amazing, relaxing Lavender massage - to someone who has a hard time stopping to unwind.  - Chef Reuben, at Kimonos, gave an unbelievable performance making our impeccable meal. We will be forever grateful that he knew what to do when someone ,at our table choked. - Peter and Claudia were exceptional, fun bartenders. The only downer was the drive from the airport which was over 2 hours of winding roads. There is an option of a helicopter as well as a ferry, however. The good and bad of Sandals Grand St. Lucian. We have traveled to many all inclusive resorts in the Caribbean and decided for our honeymoon we would invest in what we were told was the “best”. When you are spending well over $10,000 for a week you have expectations and let’s say that Sandals sells you on their name and leaves you disappointed. Let’s start with the good. 1). Beautiful views 2) Bathroom in the room was nice 3) the manager at Barefoot restaurant was amazing The bad 1) the resort is 2 hours from the airport. You can take a water ferry or helicopter which seems to be a better way to travel there. 2) the resort is a typical all inclusive resort with typical resort food. Barefoot and Gordon’s were the only 2 we found worth visiting. They push the Italian restaurant as top tier but it is basically Olive Garden level food. If you want to go off resort try the Cliff restaurant at Cap Maison. You must dress up to go to this restaurant. We were informed that Sandals “relaxed” their dress code because people were not following it so no need for men to wear long pants. 3) Our room was a disgrace for the amount we paid. The refrigerator was broke, curtains were ripped, balcony door did not slide properly, room was warm. We brought this to our butlers attention and the refrigerator was replaced, curtains replaced, door attended to and a/c was working. 4) Butlers were attentive and did what they could to help. They got chaises for us at the beach and pool and left us with a cooler of drinks. They bring drinks/snacks to you and make reservations. Immer (Head of butlers) is unhelpful and argumentative. 5) we had wanted to book snorkeling through Sandals but were told that they were all booked. We asked 3 days in advance! Apparently you can arrive and book everyday you are there so it makes it impossible for other guests to have an opportunity. Only 15 can go on the boat. We had to pay and book with a tour company. 6) I listened to people on the beach complain about the resort, at the pool, at meals, and while we were waiting for the boat on the snorkeling trip we booked , another couple had their luggage and was going to a different resort because they were unhappy. 7) we spoke to the general manager SueAnn who validated our concerns and stated that she would let corporate know and they should be reaching out. Nothing yet. If you decide to go with Sandals have low expectations and you might not be disappointed. Read less
