We visited as a couple with 2 teenage boys staying in 2 suites. These were wonderful and very modern with great air con. Other reviews have mentioned the graveyard, mosquitoes, the nearby airport but these had no effect on our stay one little bit. This small luxury boutique hotel is about relaxation and being able to unwind. There is the beach, main pool, spa pool or the secret garden river to relax, they are all beautiful. If you want to keep busy there is the scuba and watersports plus lots of other activities through the day if you so wish. We went on the snorkel trip organised by the hotel and it was great, $75 each. The food here in all the restaurants is excellent. You could literally eat all day long. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner are all great. We enjoyed the evening entertainment on offer and the staff really got involved too. All the staff here are a credit to the hotel, which i made sure i fed back on numerous occasions whilst there. They all take the time out to chat and make sure you are having a great holiday. Too many to mention but we loved Christy on the beach, Ronata at the bar, Seth and Sami in entertainment, the lady that does the eggs (sorry didnt get the name) and Jackie in the restaurant who is one of the kindest and genuine people you will ever meet, she is a diamond. Bodyholiday: Thanks to a previous recommendation on TA, we made sure we visited the sister hotel early in the trip, we enjoyed it so much we went back again! It was expensive in a taxi, $112 to take us 4. However, this place is stunning. This is more scenic, bigger and livelier hotel. Fantastic service of food and drink to your loungers. Plus it has the amazing Tao Asian restaurant which we booked prior to arrival. We found it had more of a vibe here where Stolentime was more total relaxation. We had a great time, the island is beautiful and the people wonderful. Read less

Wedding parties….please don’t book here if your group will be loud, drunk and disrespectful of other guests. We were here for the week and there was a large wedding party who disrupted the ambience of the resort by moving together in large groups …very noisy …. The resort is very compact . Everything was close by. The grounds are well maintained and there are beautiful and unusual plants. Staff. The staff are the best I’ve ever encountered. When they greet you, they ask your name and remember it….amazing memories. Everyone is smiling and prepared to make your holiday special. At the beach we were offered water and drink service with regularity and one day skewers of fruit. We returned from lunch one day and the sand at the bottom if our chairs had been cleaned off. Room. We had an ocean front ground floor room just steps from the beach. Placed outside our beach door was a large container of water to clean the sand off our feet. The room was tastefully decorated with a huge king size bed and enormous pillows ….very comfortable…and bed was turned down each evening. Also fresh towels arrived in the evening if needed. Lots of hot water for showers. The fridge had 2 bottles of water…refilled daily. Really like the safe in a pullout drawer and open up like a box…much easier to use. My only complaint was that the room while set at 23 was much colder more like 18 or 19 degrees. We moved the temperature to 27 and it didn’t change. It was great for sleeping. Food and drinks. Breakfast was a buffet ….with something for everyone. My favourite restaurant was the Malabar. We had a late lunch here every day….all meals…excellent. Dinner here was my favourite.. it’s set on the beach with your feet in the sand. Wines when asked red or white….you then have a selection to choose from. Not your typical resort wines. We ate at the Thyme restaurant again both times great food and service…plus it was nice to have AC. Friday night was a beach barbecue…wonderful ribs. The champagne bar offers real French champagne…not resort sparkling wine. I liked not having to carry money for tipping. We put money in the office tipping box at the end of our vacation. This is shared among all the staff. We really enjoyed our week here. We didn’t partake in any of the activities of which there were many…something for everyone. We relaxed on the beach and swam in the ocean and pool and used the time to totally relax. We are looking forward to returning for another visit….hopefully no noisy wedding guests. Read less

We started our honeymoon at StolenTime and were VERY pleased with our stay here. To start, the location was very close to the smaller airport on the island. Ideal as we took a helicopter from the international airport over- which StolenTime set up for us. It was definitely worth it and saved us 2 hours in a car on windy roads. Highly recommend. Check in was quick, efficient, and we got some welcome bubbly to kick off our honeymoon. The room: We booked the beach cottage and it was wonderful. The room was clean and updated. Not necessarily modern, but very nice. The bed was comfortable and you got to choose what type of pillow you wanted! The location of the beach cottages was very private, but still not too far from the rest of the resort. We had our own beach chairs and beach access steps from our room. I will say that no beach in St. Lucia is private, so we did have non-resort guests on the beach, but they were generally respectful. There was a family with children that were there one day, which wasn't ideal since this is an adults only resort- but it didn't impact our day that much. Just something to note. The food/drink: All the food we had was delicious and the staff was very attentive. Always refilling our water (VERY hot during our trip). The main terrace restaurant and beach restaurant are completely outdoors- so be prepared. The indoor restaurant is air conditioned- but then you don't get any nice views- you are just sitting in a ball room. I don't recall a bad meal or bad drink, so definitely a win in our book! All the pool bartenders were very attentive, constantly bringing us water to start our day and refilling our drinks! We loved Tasha "Nice"! The activities: the resort offered lots of free activities which we enjoyed. Sailing a hobiecat, tubing, kayaking are all included. Also included is fitness classes like yoga or HIIT. We even took a quick bike ride into town too. It looked like there were a lot of paid excursions available- but we didn't take part in them. There weren't really a lot of night time activities- which was fine for us but again something to note. Overall, we had a very relaxing time at this resort and enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking to completely relax and enjoy some sun, pool, and beach. It was exactly what we wanted for our honeymoon!!! Read less

The resort and scenery were lovely. There were some big pros but also some significant cons. Pros: The property is beautiful with well maintained grounds. We were upgraded to an ocean view room with a lovely balcony without having to ask, perhaps because they did not seem very busy. The food was very good and each dish listed whether it was nut or gluten or dairy free etc. There were always vegetarian options. The drinks were plentiful and delicious. The service was prompt and friendly. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was roomy with plenty of hot water and water pressure. There was a mini fridge, a safe, a hair dryer and an umbrella already in the room. The resort is very quiet. They do seem to primarily have an over 50 clientele. The cons: Not that this was the fault of the resort but the weather was HOT, in the upper 80s and 90s with very high humidity and there were no communal areas available during the day that were air conditioned so if you wanted to chat with others you were in the heat or in the pool. There was no TV in our room and no TVs on the property. Not necessarily a bad thing, but when it is hot, you might want to be in your room with a TV. The 3 restaurants are not all open every night. Only 1, The Terrance, is open for a buffet style breakfast daily, and I think some days only The Terrance was open for lunch. So every day, breakfast and lunch will be in the heat. Not so bad for breakfast, but lunch was often quite hot. The upscale restaurant, only open for dinner and not open every night, has a significant up-charge for premium entrees like steak or lobster. I went for the lobster my last night. It was good but not great and cost $70US. The room was, in my opinion, quite chilly and adjusting the "thermostat" did not change the temperature. The evening entertainment was quite sedate. There was a gentleman playing piano in the piano lounge which was nice but very quite, not a sing-along or dance environment. There were two evenings we had someone singing along to pre-recorded music and one night a few people were dancing. One night there was a casino night listed on the events board but when the time came it did not materialize and we were told it was written on the board by mistake. The tours and off site activities booked through the resort seemed quite expensive. I took the scuba class but when it came time to practice our skills I'm the ocean the boat to take us out was broken/not working. Scuba was only available Monday Wednesday and Friday mornings and as Monday morning was the only morning I was at the resort (stayed Fri to Tuesday) I was not able to go at all. I asked if we could scuba more in the pool to continue to get a feel for it but was told the equipment was already at the dock. And this is only by report from other guests, but a couple of folks complained of clogged drains and mosquitoes in their rooms. (The mosquitoes were also vicious on pur ziplining trip) Falling in to the category of inconvenient: a cab to get anywhere on the island was quite expensive. It was $80US round trip to get to the sister resort 7 miles away and there was no shuttle service. Overall I would say that I would not go back to this resort and would not recommend it unless you want to have a VERY quiet vacation. Read less
