The hotel

The simplicity of Bequia Plantation Hotel is part of its beguiling beauty. This property was absolutely beautiful. The staff does a very good job at making sure the property is kept, your rooms are tidy and keeping guests happy. The room was beautiful, bed was decent and had all the basic amenities needed if you want to pack just a carry-on. The property is also located in a great location - you can walk to other… Read more

The property is also located in a great location - you can walk to other restaurants easily and other beaches nearby. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this place to anyone. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating The buffet is a scam

Just a warning. The “all you can eat” buffet, really isn’t. It’s NOT cheap, but the food looked good, and it was. The problem was that it was only AFTER we’d ordered & gotten some light food from the “starters” area of the buffet, that we were then informed that only one trip is allowed to the main course portion of the buffet. Again, the menu… Read more

The problem was that it was only AFTER we’d ordered & gotten some light food from the “starters” area of the buffet, that we were then informed that only one trip is allowed to the main course portion of the buffet. Again, the menu listed it as “All you can eat,” and it was most definitely priced as such, but then you were limited on what you were allowed to eat and the serving sizes were decided for you by the buffet workers. WAY, WAY overpriced for the “rules” that were placed on it. Will not fall for this again, and hopefully others can be spared wasting their money here. Read less

This was my second stay at this location. The first time I stayed I had a negative incident at the restaurant but I spoke to the manager, he apologized so I decided to return. Following this stay I will not be going back nor recommending it to my friends and family. I stay at a lot of hotels 4 stars and up on a regular basis. The price point for this location was $300 USD/ night. I am appalled that they charged me an extra $65 USD due to make up stains on the pillow case and towel! If you are of a darker skin tone and you wear makeup I suggest you pack your own supply of towels etc… to stay at this location. We were also forced to wait over an hour to check in when other guests got their room access immediately. We sat in the lobby and when we saw multiple guests gaining access to their rooms so we went back to the front desk to inquire if our room was finally ready after waiting 1.5 hours we got the key. The continental breakfast items were never restocked. Breakfast started at 8 am and by 8:15 am the danishes were finished. We inquired and they said there were all finished. The pool was not clean as well. I was not happy. Read less

On so many occasions, they went above and beyond to make our stay the nicest, not just in the hotel, but on the whole island. When we forgot an item for our day sail to another Grenadines they taxied over in a boat and pulled up along side our boat to deliver it completed unsolicited by us. I was almost in tears. How incredibly sweet! They put us in touch with a fabulous guide too. Ask for him. His name is Curtice. Read less
