Thank you all of the staff at the Ritz Carlton in the Turks and Caicos for being so friendly and accommodating. They greeted you in the lobby and from there on it was impeccable service. Everyone from the greeters to the concierges to the employees at the bars and restaurants and the great service at the beach and pools. Be sure and book the Saxophone Sunset Cruise on the Lady Grace which is one of the tours offered by the Ritz Carlton. That same boat offers a snorkeling trip during the day. They are very professional and well organized And let’s not forget the maids who made sure that my room was cleaned everyday and new towels were in my room. These ladies ever folded my clothes that I left on a table. My bed was turned back every night with a piece of chocolate for a late night snack. Where can you go where the staff remembers your name? The restaurants were wonderful. I enjoyed a delicious meal at Nonna’s tonight. Don’t miss having fantastic steak dinner at BLT Steak. And if you like a bar with sushi or a burger, they have that, too. I know that the RC is expensive but you get the best beach, best service, great rooms and restaurants and a wonderful staff. This is a five star hotel and it was one of the best vacations that I have ever had. I will return and stay at the Ritz Carlton again! I Read less

We spent 10 nights last summer at the Ritz Carlton Turks & Caicos. We used a combination of points plus $1,625 per night to stay in a one-bedroom Suite with Upgraded Club Lounge access. We also paid an additional $439 per night for hotel/tourism services tax, 10% service charge and 5% facility charge. If you do the basic math, you can figure out… Read more
We spent 10 nights last summer at the Ritz Carlton Turks & Caicos. We used a combination of points plus $1,625 per night to stay in a one-bedroom Suite with Upgraded Club Lounge access. We also paid an additional $439 per night for hotel/tourism services tax, 10% service charge and 5% facility charge. If you do the basic math, you can figure out how expensive our vacation was for just our room alone, not including excursions, poolside food/beverages and airfare for a family of three…… Highlights: -Club Lounge access is a must! The Club Lounge staff is top notch from a service standpoint, especially Sarhan (Nadia, Cris, Gilbert and Ricky also) -Club Lounge provides top-shelf liquor, beer and wine – it’s a “self-pour” situation so you get your money’s worth! -There are enough food buffet selections served throughout the entire day in the Club Lounge which provided enough food for filling meals and snacks all day. Not once during our long stay were the main food selections repeated. Property Observations/Suggestions: -This property has 20 units per floor. If you are getting daily Club Lounge Access, you most definitely want to stay on the same floor as the Club (Floor 9). The Club Lounge is located all the way at the far eastern end of the property. The temperature is hot in the hallways for your trek. - Ice Machines are only located on Floors 1, 4 and 7 -Club Lounge need to have grab-and-go snacks (granola bars, cracker packs, chips). -Everything is incredibly expensive at this property - $40 order of quesadillas from room service. -We experienced sub-par service at the beach and pool every day……very slow and sporadic. Service in the Club Lounge is impeccable so there’s a complete disconnect. -No toys for kids at beach and pool – bring your own, the market across the street from the Ritz has an entire aisle dedicated to beach toys and sunscreen. -The main family pool is literally only 3.5 feet in the middle part – it’s not deep at all and it felt like it was heated. -We only did Kids Club once – the facility is TINY. -The rooms have tiny trash cans that would immediately overflow with just an empty water bottle. -The lowest temperature on the thermostat in the room will go to is 68 degrees. -The rooms are NOT childproofed – they have 3.5 to 4-foot glass pane balconies; not adequate childproof locks on sliding glass doors. Bring your own tension rods or alarm system! -The property’s gift shop is a joke – it’s tiny and bare bones. FYI, there is a grocery store across the street from the Ritz along with an Urgent Care and a Pharmacy. -When you drop the amount of money we did over 10 days, it would have been a nice gesture to get a personal introduction to the top Property/General Manager while we were in the Club Lounge, which was very often! This did not happen during our stay – we believe it should have. Other Recommendations: -Highly recommend doing both the Sunset Sail on the Ritz Carlton Catamaran Boat named “The Lady Grace” and ½ Day Snorkel on “The Lady Grace” (least crowded day for this is Saturday). -Highly recommend doing a family photo shoot at sunset on the beach: Attimi Photography -We went off property one time for dinner to Coco Bistro – it did not live up to the hype! My husband was sick the very next morning after eating there. We should’ve just eaten at the Club Lounge instead. -Highly recommend TCI Fast Track to expedite customs/immigration -Highly recommend VIP Flyers Lounge at airport when flying home In closing, Grace Bay is incredibly beautiful with its ideal water temperature, turquoise water color, water calmness and white sand - this beach is unmatched! With that being said, there are many other options besides the Ritz Carlton to stay in Grace Bay: Grace Bay Club, 7 Seas, Villa Renaissance and Beaches (all inclusive – ideal for families). Read less

We have stayed away from this property based in the negative reviews on TripAdvisor and on the Marriott site. But due to flight schedules, we needed a place to stay before we checked in for our week at Blue Haven. So we decided to give the Ritz a shot and we thought it was great. We were treated warmly at the lobby and were given instant assistance with bags and check in. We had two oceanfront rooms that were well appointed with amazing views of Grace Bay. We spent two days on the beach. The service for food and drinks was good. We didn’t eat at any of their restaurants, but at the end of the day, we thought this property was on par with other Ritz Carlton beach/resort properties we’ve stayed at (St. Thomas, Naples, Sarasota, etc). I just stayed for three nights on the club level and it was a horrible experience. Each morning and afternoon I heard repetitive banging on the floor above me. I just stayed for three nights on the club level and it was a horrible experience. Each morning and afternoon I heard repetitive banging on the floor above me. When I called down to the front desk it would stop, but then start again later. I asked for a new room but they said they were booked. Also, I paid them $360 for a roundtrip car service from/to the airport. Upon departing the Ritz, the car service was 45 min late and then took me to a different airport - so I missed my flight. This resort is not a Ritz Carlton any more - it's just a low quality Marriott. Read less

Promoting this resort as 5 star is a Joke! We reserved an oceanfront and ocean view 3 bedroom suite and were put in someone else’s condo on the third floor with a view of trees!!!! And of course they are fully booked!!! But they are booked with families with children using points!!!
