My recent stay at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai was an unfortunate experience. Despite the hotel's prime location and some decent amenities, the service fell far short of expectations.
The front-office staff, particularly Mr. Faraz, were unresponsive to guest concerns, and the leadership team, including Ms. Ruby Sanu, displayed a lack of empathy and a dismissive attitude towards guest complaints.
One of the most frustrating aspects of the stay was the constant construction noise that permeated the hotel from 9 AM to 6 PM. The ongoing renovations, while understandable, significantly disrupted the peaceful atmosphere that guests expect from a luxury hotel.
Given the subpar service, unresponsive staff, and ongoing construction noise, I believe the Grand Hyatt Mumbai is not worth their exorbitant rates. Numerous other hotels in Mumbai offer a far superior experience for a similar price point.
