So we just came back from Bali grand Hyatt Nusa dua,I am going to write this review on all aspect of this hotel. Location & services:- Fantastic location right on the beach, very big property & very well maintained ie:- gardens, pools, beach area, walking path etc very clean.Rooms(we are in ocean view) very big and specious, nice balcony and great ocean view. Also next to Bali collection( walking), been told that before pandemic it was very buzzing place but at the moment(29/6) it’s a ghost town only 2 shops are open out of 100. Services is 50/50,very slow taking food and drink order, either on the pool area or in restaurants, takes ages someone to come and take your order( wast fully occupied). Grand Hyatt is in hotel zone area which is very well maintained but nothing nearby.Customer relation manager, Morisse, he was fantastic very very helpfull, doesn’t matter what time he is always there to sort out any problem you have. Thank you very much for all you have done for us and all other guests. Foods & Restaurants:- Big problem, if you are vegetarian or vegan not many choices this hotel has got for these people. Nearby hotels has got plenty of choices for vegetarian and vegan eater, but somehow Grand Hyatt has got very few food iteams on their menu.( need to do something please). If you are there for more than 1 week than you definitely gets bored because there is nothing for entertainment, no games room,no evening entertainments, not even a pool table,so after dinner you have nothing to do, bit sad… Gym,bicycle renting, kids clubs, are great. So for my personal experienced, I would give 6 out of 10 for this hotel. Read less

Great location away from the hustle and bustle of The west side. Food is average and service is chaotic. However the staff are lovely. Very few shops in the area and taxis are needed to go anywhere! Not all areas have reopened - after the Covid lockdowns!

Stayed here for 8 nights in a club room overlooking the ocean on the 4th floor (Top floor) Went to sleep with the sound of the lapping ocean waves and woke up to a gorgeous unobstructed ocean view. Check in was smooth around 10 mins. Check out was the same, Very impressed. We never used the main pools,We used the club pool just below our building which was mostly quiet, We used the beach as well as the pool, There are venders on the beach that some people find annoying but once you say your not interested they tend to leave you alone, The sea was quite rough but there were people surfing. We used the lobby bar for evening canapés and drinks as the main grand club lounge was closed, Anyone can use the lobby bar but it never got overcrowded, The staff were welcoming and orders were taken and delivered efficiently, The grand club opened on our last night so we got to use it for one evening and the next morning for breakfast before our departure to Ubud. The Italian salsa Verdi was very nice for dinner and lunch, The Japanese restaurant was also very nice, Breakfast was good in the garden cafe and on a couple of mornings it was full so we used the Italian restaurant (Salsa Verdi) instead. A special shout out to the 2 wonder long term staff members that we met in the Grand lounge on our last day (A Puspa & Ida) these wonderful women have been serving the hotel for 31 years each WOW A special thank you to Morissher aka Moris from concierge he came round to introduce himself and take the time to speak to everyone. I have seen a negative review a couple of weeks back about Moris and I don’t believe this at all. The staff have to deal with arrogant and rude guests all the time and do it with a smile on their faces, I know I could not do their jobs to the excellent standards that they do. Moris helped us with a couple of issues which I won’t go into, Even WhatsApp me on his day off as a follow up and wished me and my wife a pleasant onward journey as he would not be on duty on our departure day, That’s excellent hospitality for you. I would not hesitate for one moment to return to this fine establishment if I returned to Bali. Well done to all the staff at Grand Hyatt Bali. Read less

The people working at the Hyatt are very friendly, polite and helpful. We were made to feel at home and also enjoyed the gym which was often quite quiet and peaceful. The gardeners have done a remarkable job maintaining the resort and the ponds are full of happy fish and stunning white and pink flowers. The hotel is also literally on the beach so you're right next to white sands and crystal clear waters. The room was good and room service do an excellent job cleaning up and making the bed etc. Overall the rooms are immaculate but could use an update in the future. We shared a king bed and the mattress and pillows were very comfortable. You really are spoilers with the Japanese, Italian and Balinese cuisine. Pizzas are top tier! Cocktails are delicious and the bar at the top of the hotel makes an excellent cappuccino. Would highly recommend! Read less

Booked club room but the grand club is also accessible by the NON CLUB guests during breakfast which resulted us not able to get a table at the grand club and we had to have our breakfast at the common restaurant. This is unfair for club guests! Why should we pay for club room when NON CLUB guests are also able to access the grand club??!!
