Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa

Nusa Dua, Bali

Virgin rating

The hotel

Living up to its ‘authentically Bali’ mantra, Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa feels like a reincarnated Balinese palace. Every element’s lavish, with its three exquisite tree-fringed pools, sumptuous spa, gym, and seven bars and restaurants all adding to the fantastical feel. But nothing’s quite as regal as its grounds, where tropical greenery spills over balconies, tumbles through gardens, and comes to rest on the pure white sands of its beach. The effect’s a serene setting for garden tours, coconut leaf weaving, and traditional dance classes – and for Gecko Club’s child-focused island experiences. Inside its nine hectares, a dramatic temple-like structure splits to reveal an elaborate lily pond festooned with water features; Balinese guest rooms (including Butler-served Club rooms) divulge garden, pool, or beach scenes; and the incredible bamboo web of its double-decked brasserie opens up to hypnotic Indian Ocean views.

Very charming hotel. Glad their almost fully operational. Great location. Lots of other resorts on the beach you can visit. Friendly staff. Very Good breakfast buffet. Would definitely recommend for couples or families to stay at. I had a conference at the Westin, glad we stayed here! Has a more resort feel and a 5 minute walk!

We have been regular visitors to Bali and primarily staying in the Nusa Dua area as we prefer its beachfront tranquility. The Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and SPA is one of our preferred hotels in the area and it would be our first choice if our preferred room is available. In March 2022, we stayed at the hotel for 7 days. We practically had the hotel for ourselves. Despite the hotel being nearly idle for two years (like all nearby hotels), the hotel lobby, pool and beach area were very presentable. The room we had was on the third floor, with a view of the beach and the pool, was in a very good condition. The restaurant, surrounded by the koi bond, was as beautiful as it ever was and served an excellent breakfast. Understandably, not all the hotel facilities were accessible on arrival, though it improved shortly. The enthusiasm by the staff made up for any of the shortcomings. Our stay then required one day of quarantine which we could not imagine a better place to have it. In fact, the result of the PCR test taken at the airport came in about 3 hours and we were free to leave the room. For value of money and personalized treatment, we recommend the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & SPA and to make any special requests directly to the hotel to the attention of Ms. Arini (front office Mgr). She will respond with great enthusiasm given the intense hotel competition as Bali rebounds. Read less

Walking along the beach promenade it doesn’t look appealing which is in contrast to others hotels I went into to enjoy a drink and food where the staff were more engaging and interested in you. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Read less

Eating a variety of delicious always something different. Very nice service specially from a lady Manager in a lobby her name is Nona? She's so gorgeous and went beyond her duty of accommodating our request. You can rent bikes and ride around this part of the island. We will come back here for sure ❤️ Read less
