108 suites and villas. All with air-conditioning, satellite TV, complimentary WiFi, tea/coffee-making facilities, mini-bar*, telephone, safe and hairdryer. Impressive Forest Suites are located in 3-storey buildings and have a balcony facing the Petanu River Valley or the rice terraces of Peliatan. Rooms either have 1 king-size bed or 2 single beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (rollaway bed can be arranged in addition to the existing sofa bed for up to 2 additional persons per room).

Heavenly Jacuzzi Villas have a terrace with outdoor Jacuzzi and surrounded by vibrant tropical gardens with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (rollaway bed can be arranged in addition to the existing sofa bed for up to 2 additional persons per room). All villas have en-suite bathroom with bath tub with overhead shower and hand shower, vanity unit, toilet and WiFi access.

Heavenly Pool Villas have a terrace, private plunge pool and outdoor shower, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (rollaway bed can be arranged in addition to the existing sofa bed for up to 2 additional persons per room).

2 restaurants; Mayasari Restaurant (buffet breakfast, à la carte International and classical cuisine), River Café (informal poolside dining alongside the banks of Petanu River). Tree Bar (selection of Indonesian and International cuisine) for lunch and dinner. Complimentary daily afternoon tea (4:00pm-5:00pm).

Don't stay if you're not in the villa. Other rooms are 3 star quality. See pics attached. The AC wasn't working in the room. We slept one night somehow, but upon complaining 2-3 times they were expecting us to stay another night with the AC problems. Only upon creating a fuss they moved us to a villa. We also found the room a little dark. The resort itself is great, with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. Breakfast was decent but would have preferred a bit more variety of fruits etc. The complimentary afternoon tea was appreciated. The pool was good (but not sure why the infinity pool could not be used by children) and given the size of the property, it could have been larger. Likewise, the kids club looked great but we hardly got a change to use it as we were always out in the morning (and it closed by 1:30pm). Location was also good, just a few minutes to the centre but the shuttle was quite inconvenient - this should be going to Monkey Forest and to the Palace. The staff were excellent and we really enjoyed our stay at Maya but just with a few small improvements, it could have been outstanding. Read less

The staff is the friendliest and warmest I’ve ever encountered, from housekeeping to reception and at tree top Bar restaurant the staff dekrika is amazing ! thank you so much she focused on our needs during dinner. and look after their guests very well also the service she provided and including us too and if you see rika she will beyond to ensure you enjoy your stay at resort. they are all amazing nothing was too much trouble for them.we also booked a romantic dinner to celebrate my birthday and it was beautifully arranged ending with a birthday song, it was amazing I can't wait to go back to maya ubud and share a lot with rika she really made our visit very special, we enjoyed a romantic dinner that was perfect accompanied by rindik and that evening the service was extraordinary the table was magnificent and the food was also very delicious (A lovely end to our stay. :) Normally food at resorts is varied and looks great but this one has legitimately delicious food, including breakfast. i was amazed by very impressed with the balinese dance perfomance during the gala dinner at mayasari amphitheater .and watch the sunrise with my balcony doors open wide, listening to the calming sounds of nature from the jungle below. The Bed was huge and very comfortable and great air & conImpeccably clean and maintained rooms, thoughtfully designed. and beautiful gardens.Water was replenished daily & the room service is open 24 hr room service i ordered for three times during my stay, it always arrived on time. They offer a free yoga classes in the morning at the pavillion , such as gorgeous setting to practice and lovely walk down. if you want to visit the town centre, it’s only a 15 min drive away, you can also easily catch a taxi. The best thing about the villa is THE POOL, it’s the perfect place to lie in the sun, go for a dip and order a cocktail & soak in those views. everything was quiet and serena. Read less

Nila helped us in booking a tour and getting us a great price. We had an unbelievable 90 min massage in the spa rooms which overlook the valley. Our room was immaculate and was serviced twice a day. All in all we cannot wait to go back and have told anyone we could to go here. Read less
