City centre location, close to shopping, entertainment and dining destinations. Direct access from the hotel lobby to the MRT subway station. Transfer time for Singapore Airport: 25 minutes.

Smart and tidy hotel with a fantastic rooftop pool. Brilliant location so close to the MRT station and some decent bars just across the road. Lovely breakfast and a decent gym. The pillows.......amazing. Would love to know where to get them from.

Our stay was not the luxury experience we expected and for the price paid it was very disappointing. Having arrived from a stay at another Shangri-La this hotel lacked a great deal. We didn't receive the early check-in, room upgrade etc as our package stated. The room was very small, windows in desperate need of a clean and whilst a fridge is supplied it is empty with items needing to be be sourced from a vending machine which is fine if it is replenished, which it wasn't for our entire stay. Queuing for breakfast was tedious and the breakfast area was just chaotic. Sorry but we didn't have a luxury experience and won't return. Read less

We found this to be a great choice for a busy 3 night stay in Singapore. The JEN is really well connected with 'Somerset' MRT next door (just use your bank card to tap in and out) and multiple shopping centers with loads of food choices. The room was clean and comfortable with a tap for filtered drinking water which was so appreciated. We were warned about the breakfast queues when checking in - which wasn't a good sign. We made it down at 7.30am and by the time we left, the queue to get a table had begun to build. That said, once seated, the breakfast choice was wide and plentiful (and you can get your own tea/coffee without having to wait or flag someone down). We had heard a lot about the pool and I was excited to swim morning laps. Unfortunately the 40m + pool isn't quite as advertised - be warned, it is split into two smaller pools, there is no uninterrupted stretch of 40m. When we ventured up to the pool area, we realised what a very popular spot this is - well done if you are able to secure a pool side bed. Read less

Perfect location between Orchard and Sommerset Roads above MRT station. Rooms are on floors 11 to 20, so you don't hear traffic or trains. Nice rooftop pool and by far the best breakfast anywhere in the world. Views from the rooftop pool are great. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Room has a safe and amenities are restocked everyday.
