Where is it

City centre location, close to shopping, entertainment and dining destinations. Direct access from the hotel lobby to the MRT subway station. Transfer time for Singapore Airport: 25 minutes.

Superior Cityview Rooms have have a modern and smart design with stunning views facing either Orchard Road, Marina Bay or the Central Business District Skyline, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Deluxe Rooms are as above but are larger, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

The hotel is situated above the Somerset MRT. This gave us excellent transport options. The room was very clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Filtered water was available in the room. The toilet was separate to the shower and vanity. A pod coffee machine was available with 4 different pods that were replenished each day. Our room came with Club access and this was excellent. However, there was limited gluten free food available, The Club access gave us breakfast each morning with a dedicated chef. We stayed here on advice of our travel agent and we are very grateful .. If staying in Singapore , you will most likely stay at Marina Bay or Orchard Road. Orchard road is a shoppers paradise and this hotel is in a great location to go crazy with your credit card.. There are so many places to eat just around the corner.  The location is the best. There is a shopping mall and MRT Somerset right below the hotel. It is very convenient if you want to move around Singapore. On the top floor there is a pool with an incredible view of the city and you can even see Marina Bay Sands. Go in the evening, it's another level. It was hilarious that sometimes I had the coffee delivered by a robot, I wasn't expecting that! They sometimes offer complimentary snacks in the room.  Highly recommended and could definitely come back! Read less

When we arrived the staff told us that the Deluxe King wouldn't fit 4, and didn't have enough floor space for a roll out, and that they did not know we had 4 people, even though on our booking it says 4 people. They initially insisted we all sleep on one King bed as they had no other free rooms that night... after some pushing back, somehow they found a larger also Deluxe room which could fit a roll out bed. Firstly I'm annoyed that the website offered a room that doesn't fit 4 when we searched for 4; and also that they insisted they had no other rooms but upon pushing and pushing, they found us one. Really didn't make sense. So perhaps if you're travelling with a family and booked a room, give the hotel a call to make sure you all fit!! Aside from that hiccup the rest of the trip was fine. The hotel pool is very nice with a great view, and there are some cabanas, although they get taken from mid-morning and these people more or less never leave so you'll miss out if you don't have one. The location is amazing, right on top of Somerset station and an easy walk along Orchard road to food and shopping. Read less

The rooms are clean but basic, there isn’t really a hotel bar where you can order drinks other than the pool bar which stops serving at 10.30 (early for holidays!). The main issue was the attitude of staff particularly the staff at the pool bar, basic queries for towels were met with abrupt and rude comments almost like the staff were finding it really challenging just to do their job and answer your query. Next issue was the service and menu, menu is very limited and the service which should end at 10.30pm is actually 10.25pm…I tried to order two drinks and was told the bar was shut, the pool staff member even tapped his watch!! Again very rude and not what you expect from a 4 star hotel. I would have stayed here again but not after the service…there are far too many hotels in Singapore which treat you better and value your business! Must do better Jen Orchard gate Singapore!!!
