From the very first second, on pick up at the airport, to the last moment of saying goodbye on departure, this was the most perfect stay at Raffles. Fantastic hotel. We had two visits to Singapore recently and each time we visited Raffles. First time we went to The Long Bar for Singapore Slings, there was a small queue but only for 10 minutes or so. Worth the wait and the expense. Our Slings were one traditional and one a teatotal sling, very nice. A very enjoyable experience, one we'll definitely do again. Our second visit was for afternoon tea which was very nice. Good selection of tea. Really nice sandwiches, cakes and we got 3 scones each, it was all extremely good. There's a lovely atmosphere, a lady playing the harp. Very nice polite professional staff. It was a wonderful experience and one we will never forget. Raffles also have a boutique where they sell souvenirs including Sling glasses of which we purchased quite a few. Read less

One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. Our number one hotel is the Ritz in Paris, but the Raffles Singapore is a very close second. We arrived from California at 5:45 am, and despite the fact that check in was 3 pm, the front desk was able to get us into our room a hour later. Very much appreciated after a 16 hour flight. The lobby is amazing. Huge, clean, impressive. While we were waiting for our room we had breakfast at Tiffin. It was amazing. Wonderful fruit, fantastic eggs benedict, and great service. After breakfast we were taken to our room. Huge room, high ceilings, very clean, and personalized note with bottle of wine and chocolates for our honeymoon. Later, we went to Long Bar to try the famous Singapore Sling. There was a long line to get in, but as quests of the hotel, we were able to walk right in. Drinks we great, and throwing peanut shells on the floor was a different experience. We had dinner in the Raffles Courtyard, again, great food and service. Singapore is an amazing city, we will be back, and when we do, we will be staying at the Raffles. It is significantly more expensive than the Ritz Carlton or the Four Seasons, but we tried the Ritz on our way back from the Maldives, and the Raffles is so much better. Better food, much better room, better amenities, and substantially better service. Bite the bullet and stay at the Raffles, it is truly an iconic experience. Read less

What an amazing historical place, everything is a delight, the room, the toiletries, the dining options and the service - unsurpassed. Breakfast in bed was PERFECT and the harpist in the foyer tear jerkingly sublime. If anyone found something to grumble about here then, they must be mad!

The most phenomenal place we’ve stayed as a family by far! To me, Raffles is far more iconic than Marina Bay Sands and I cannot wait to go back. If you are wanting a more unique experience, I cannot recommend Raffles enough. You are immersed in history and opulence the moment you step foot into Raffles. Exceptional service from all staff and nothing to fault. The fact that staff took notice of my son’s interest (drawing and colouring) and were kind enough to leave him a surprise with Raffles branded gifts of colouring book and pencils was so kind and very much appreciated. Rooms - very clean, spacious and lay - out is perfect. Living room is separate from bedroom which is convenient. Bathroom is exceptional - marble , toilet and shower separated a detail we appreciated. The cleanliness of room was to standard. Food - we enjoyed the breakfast buffet and restaurant. Facilities- the pool is decent and enjoyable. The bars and stores located within complex means you don’t have to venture out too much unless you want to do a lot of shopping! Thank you to everyone at Raffles, we cannot wait to stay with you again! Read less
